I Did a on line sale for AC pag oil for car compressor it was13.00 for 8 oz they were having a sale 2.65 homerun I Drove to store Advance auto parts1355 New Haven Avepick up part pre paid the other counter had 6 people waiting Greatsales man I was done very fast I will be doing this again.
This is not a good place to go . They don’t do a good job of checking your engine battery alternator or starter. Definitely not recommended to go to this place. Terrible experience
I’m super thankful for Tim at this location. Tim made me feel comfortable from the second. I came in having troubles with my headlights. He helped me investigate the problem and follow me the bulbs I needed and got me on the road very quickly thanks Tim I will definitely be back. You guys are awesome.
My wife and I stopped in yesterday (11/21/2025) to get a windshield wiper blade for our 2016 Kia Sorento as well as a new battery for the key fob. We were greeted by a very nice and pleasant young man named Josh. He identified the battery that we needed and replaced it for us. He also got the correct rear windshield wiper blade for us and also installed it, because I was perplexed as to how to do it. We had only purchased the car used a couple of weeks ago, so I'm not familiar with all the nuts and bolts of how everything works yet. We had originally gone to Auto Zone a couple of days ago to get the rear windshield wiper blade, and they didn't even have it in stock. As far as O'Reilly on New Haven, don't even bother going there. I wrote them off after my last horrible experience there. I was treated so inconsiderately, and the worst part is that it was by the manager. I highly value good quality customer service. That's why I will patronize businesses where I might have to pay a little bit more, but the excellent customer service, to me, is well worth it. If Josh is representative of all the help at Advance Auto, then we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this store to needing good quality customer service for your auto parts needs.
I needed a new battery and needed someone to install it. I'm disabled and live on SS benefits, so I have to buy "cheap." And then I met Timothy. He went over and above regular customer service! We talked about how difficult it was going to be to install as he had to remove a lot of parts just to get to the battery. He never blinked but just got right to it! He also helped me a little on the price. I have a new battery and a new auto shop!very good
I had a hose break over here in melbourne , and I live in tampa. The manager let me fix it in the parking lot! So helpful.And I would recommend this store to anybody getting to work out their car!
Your staff was so rude, I couldn’t believe it. Asked him to run a scan on it for the error code and he acted like I was troubling him. Then after being condescending, he shoves a part number on me and rushes to smoke a cigarette. I’m actually shocked enough to stop and write this review in the parking lot, watching him blow cigarette smoke out the front door. And he was absolutely useless in answering the question because the part he gave me was just replaced, that’s why I was asking in the first place.
Was not greeted when I came in and staff was unattentive and when I did finally get help, the staff member had no clue about products and didn't seem to care about my needs. Won't be going there again.
Very helpful n finding me license plate locking screws. Very clean store with helpful employees. They instantly fixed a clearance price item that did not come up right on computer. Very friendly employees. I highly recommend Advanced Auto parts.

In customer service, you often empathize with representatives, knowing they deal with difficult customers and might have bad days. But then there are situations where it's clear someone just doesn’t want to work.
I recently experienced hesitation starting my vehicle. Since we bought the battery three years ago from this store, we decided to stop by and have it checked. The employee, who had been laughing and chatting moments earlier, completely changed his demeanor when asked to help. He became silent, acting like we were an inconvenience.
Sorry, sir, but I don’t want to end up stranded, so I wanted to take care of my vehicle. Turns out, the battery was going bad. Next time, I’ll be visiting AutoZone or another competitor instead.
The only reason for the somewhat decent rating is that the battery was under warranty, and getting a replacement was quick and easy.
I needed windshield wipers replaced. The assistant was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to find what I needed. He put the wipers on my car for me too. This is why I shop here for any car needs I have that do not require going to the dealership. Thank you, Advance Auto Parts!

Walked in & was asked immediately if I could be helped & I said yes then the actually walked me to the item I was looking for then carried to the registered cashed me out & I was back in my vehicle on my way home all in less than 10 minutes. Wow, that was awesome.
SO helpful, Store Staff went over my car's issue, directed me towards the most likely solution... which also had the lowest cost part. 10 minutes of my time and a $10 part vs a $130 mechanic estimate. Very grateful for these folks
I needed a new battery, Advance Auto is the only place I would go to. The staff is very nice and very helpful. They replaced my battery at no charge. Will always go back to Advance Auto
Sold us a new battery which in April 2023 will be a year old. After install, which they did do for free, we drove about 7 miles, shut off the car to go in the store, and upon return, the car wouldn't start. Called AAA who came out to jump start us Their tester told us it was the battery. The alternator, and generator were fine. Some would say AAA would have sold us a battery and to be honest we asked, not the reverse, if he had one that would fit. He did not. Called Auto Zone, their response ", Bring it back and we'll put another battery in." How nice. We had to walk home and get a tow truck in the morning. Still to come, will Auto Zone keep their word? Will we have to pay for tow truck? Auto Zone, if you treat all of your customers this way, you won't be in business much longer!!
Okay well, very nice e helpful guys , they just didn't have Rotella T4 or5 for my diesel 4x4 truck but they did have the right injector cleaner additive so that's all I bought! I sure hope this Supply Chain thing clears up Soon!!!
Needed windshield wipers in the worst way..was in and out quickly..a very nice gentlemen, Alan W. got my new blades on in less than 90 seconds..just in time for it to start pouring!! Great customer service!!
Was just in store, unfortunately they didn't have what I thought I needed, but they helped look for it in another store, explained what I could use different and were working as a team to help us. Very much appreciated the level of customer service.

This place is great! Matt helped me find the Battery I needed to be replaced, and then him and Mike sweat out in this 100 degree heat installing the new battery for me. They were amazing and so helpful, and professional the entire time! Thank you Advance Auto for hiring these 2 exceptional men!

Unfortunately they didn't have the item I needed, which was touch-up paint for one of our cars. They had several colors of the paint, but not the color we needed. However, I gave a 4-star review because the worker was fantastic and helped me try to locate the paint elsewhere. He also helped me identify the actual color of paint I needed. Kudos
Great price...great service...great knowledge...I watched a guy help someone get home by telling them what to do to keep their car working until they got home....no charge..no fuss. Just someone doing a good deed...that's customer service....I'll be back like always....
They went completely above and beyond in customer service. My battery had died and I was parked down the road and called. After confirming they had the battery make for my car the nice woman came to my work and actually picked me up (ON HER LUNCH BREAK!) even after I told her I would walk over later on in the day. She installed my battery for my after dropping me back off at work. I am so happy there is still customer service like this in our day of corporate America. I would always just go to any car store to get my needs but you have earned an Advanced Auto Parts client for good. I even signed up for a rewards card to put on my keychain which I NEVER do anywhere, just to remind me of the good still left out there.
