Just had the worst experience with Tron’s Tow. After a tire blowout caused us to crash into a ditch, FHP had them tow our car without our consent this morning. Now they’re demanding $1200 to get it back and threatening to put a lien on us if we don’t pay. I called to schedule a pickup and they told me the yard is closed—even though Google says they’re open. Total scammy behavior. Avoid this place at all

**Review for Tron’s Towing:** I am writing this review with a heavy heart after my deeply frustrating experience with Tron’s Towing. My life has taken a significant downturn due to circumstances beyond my control, and the way I was treated by this company only added to my distress. Recently, my car was stolen, which was a devastating blow for me. As someone who is already facing financial hardship, losing my vehicle meant losing my job as well. I rely on my car not just for transportation, but also to support my family. The inability to get to work has put an immense strain on our lives, and I feel helpless without my vehicle. When I reached out to are Tron’s Towing to recover my car, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of empathy. Despite explaining my situation and begging for assistance, they refused to work with me in any way. It felt as though my struggles didn't matter to them at all. To add to my frustration, the previous owner of the car saw it wrecked and informed the Rockledge police that Tron’s Towing should deliver the vehicle back to my home. Instead, they impounded my car and seemed completely unaware of its whereabouts when I inquired. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, especially during such a challenging time in my life. The emotional toll this has taken on me and my family cannot be overstated. We are left without a vehicle, which affects our daily lives and adds to our stress and anxiety. I would have expected at least some compassion from a service that is supposed to help in difficult situations, but instead, I felt disregarded. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Tron’s Towing based on my experience. Their lack of empathy and professionalism during a time when I needed support the most has left me feeling powerless and frustrated. I hope that they can reflect on their customer service and consider the impact they have on people's lives.

Called and got no answer, emailed from their site or wrote to them like they asked on their site and got no call back or reply back, a company that doesn't care to make money or new customers....I think it's funny of you leave a bad review theirs no comment but leave a good review than they have something to say, that shows everyone that the good reviews are from the company or people they know that are friends and are trying to make them look good, I had a easy tow, 2 streets down, no more than 1min up the road and they could have made 180 to 400 bucks doing the job but they refused to answer or reply back, the companies with worst reviews answered or got back to me, this company shouldn't have but 1 star

Called on Tuesday to schedule an appointment for pickup on Thursday, so today We waited ALL DAY to get picked up, it had to be at the dealer before 6pm in Orlando, needless to say at 3:15 I called to ask where the driver was? I was told "he just got off 95 at Barnes (I live 5 minutes away) at 4:30 STILL no driver, called again and cussed them out....WORST SERVICE (OR LACK THERE OF) The woman tried to tell me they was running behind because of all the wrecks (it didn't rain till noon) and obviously I wasn't important even AFTER I MADE AN APPOINTMENT, Don't walk but RUN from these morons!

I had to call Tron's after another place that my insurance company had dispatched left me hanging and wouldn't answer their phone. This place was such a pleasure to work with. The dispatcher was so pleasant and patient (even after all of my indecisiveness). They came with in the quoted time frame of 60 minutes. The driver was also kind and personable. While it was an expensive 12 mile tow, they were very transparent about it and State farm did partially reimburse me for it. Needing a tow is usually always an inconvenience for anyone but if you do need one, these are your guys!

Came out quick after FHP contacted them. It's a tow yard so it was kind of sketchy but allowed me to get my stuff I needed out of my car. Send a letter to put a lein on my car when it was there for only 3 days. Certified letter came the day after my car had been towed to body shop. Most of the bill was for recovery which my car was easily accessible on the side of the road. No fluid or debris clean up required so not sure why recovery was 6 hundred and something and tow was a hundred something. That's sketchy too. Always get your car towed to your house or the bodyshop!

Tron was great! He got to us pretty quickly even though we didn't provide great directions to where we were. The tow was fast and very affordable. I would highly recommend his services. He towed my sister's vehicle with care and got us home safely.

Wow. Dean is a genius. My Cadillac was in a tight spot and he handled it like a champ. It had to be moved at a condo. I would highly recommend. Dean is the expert. He worked so hard for me. Thank You!

Had a dead battery called Honda Roadside, they said at least 90 minutes ( I had just finished shopping at Sam’s Club, lots of frozen food ) searched local found Trons.. Called they dispatched , 5 minutes later truck was there. About the same time the office called me about billing… dealt with that put it on my card. Driver started taking lots of pictures, called Tron back and asked about the practice , they said it was all normal… I had zero problem with the service, I called they came , got me on my way. That said, the pictures the driver took did not sit well with me…. My credit card both sides and my Drivers license…. At the time I was happy to be on my way… but then I thought … that was not a good practice… Called my card company, told them the charge from Tron was valid, but told them to list the card as lost and issue a new card… A driver should NOT be taking pictures of your card(s) and your ID… Again their service was top notch, happy with it… but the driver taking pictures of the card and ID, made me nervous.

Beware of Tron’s Auto Repair & Towing! My husband was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle on 8/22/22. Four days later, I learned that his bike had been towed by Tron's Auto. I called multiple times to find what was needed to get his motorcycle. I was brushed off with excuses and false promises of returned calls. Realizing a call was never coming, days later on 8/29/22 after a barrage of phone calls, I was informed that my name was not on the title and I wouldn’t be able to get the bike from their custody without a notarized statement from my husband giving permission along with his Driver’s License. My husband had been intubated for seven days at the time and would remain in critical condition for several days, until 9/5/22 when he was extubated. Relieved with his progress I gave an additional day for him to retrieve his bearings and gain strength before confronting him with the necessary documentation requirements from Tron’s Auto. Upon gathering the items, I called Tron’s Auto so that I could know the amount of money I would need to retrieve my husband’s cycle. My first call that day, I was speaking with a representative, placed on hold, and then manually disconnected from the call. Immediately I called again, and once someone answered I repeated my request for information. The person to whom I was speaking during my second call was Tron Cotman, the owner of Tron’s Auto Repair & Towing. After listening to my pleas for assistance, he berated me and raised his tone, nearly yelling, claiming he was not under any obligation to accept the documentation I had, and that he had final approval of releasing my ailing husband's bike. With my back against a wall from my multitude of futile encounters with this company attempting to regain my husband’s property, I had to threaten the possibility of legal action against them. Tron Cotman was refusing to accept my legally notarized documents, proof of ownership, or marital status and refused to take my husband’s precarious medical situation into account. This person was extraordinarily rude, demeaning, and insulting. Tron Cotman verbally assaulted me, yelled profanity and explicative language, and maintained his position at holding my husband's personal property hostage. This attack was unprovoked and unnecessary. After needlessly attacking me, Tron Cotman stated he was ending our call and placed me on hold. I ended my side of the call and once again attempted to communicate with a company that appeared to be more of a hostile extortion terrorist organization. I placed another call to Tron’s Auto Repair & Towing and the call was answered by the lady I had first spoken with who hung up the call while having me on hold. This representative stated she would have to review the account and would return my call within the hour having an estimate of charges. After the hour passed, along with several others, I placed another call shortly after 4pm and spoke with a different person who stated they would also be returning my phone call after a review of the account and provide me with an amount to reclaim my husband’s cycle. On September 8, at 9pm, I received a call from Tron’s Auto stating that I could pick-up his bike the next day due to being after hours for the office. I was faulted for missing “my window” that day since the office closed at 5. I was changed nearly $1000 to retrieve my husband’s crashed bike due to towing and storage fees. Storage fees that could have been greatly reduced had the company simply supplied the necessary information upfront. I experienced an uphill battle from August 26 – September 9 with Tron’s Auto Repair & Towing where I have been insulted, ridiculed, outraged, vilified, and cursed to prolong their conservatorship over my husband’s property so they may gain monies they do not deserve. Terroristic tactics were implemented to extort additional money from my family after suffering a horrendous experience of my husband’s accident. Tron’s Auto Repair & Towing utilize their affiliation with Brevard County to ransom and extort from grieving families.

Wish I could give them a ZERO! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are scammers! Steal money/valuables from their customers! Had my car towed there and they stole stuff out of it. Tried to tell them about it and they said it wasn’t in there. I called Better Business Bureau. Called the police. Anybody I could. Next will be the News, I’m sure they’d love this story. The owner is Tron Cotman. A terrible person, who doesn’t care for any of his customers. This business should be shut down. Owner thrown in Jail. Please I highly advise you to stay away from Tron’s Towing!!! You’ve been warned

I meant to do this review last week. These guys are the best in the business. No one wanted to tow my 6x12 enclosed trailer to get repaired. Jim was the guy who came and helped us out. I went through every tow service available locally, and apparently the buck stops at Jim. He was extremely professional, polite, and careful with my equipment. I would never trust anyone else to do the job he did. I will forever recommend this company. Thanks Jim!!

I don't usually leave reviews but this time I had to find the time to make an exception. This place doesn't even deserve a half of a star rating. It is one of the worst company's that I ever dealt with. If you want to see what unprofessional and rude looks like then you will surely find it here!! They do not know what customer service is especially that lady that answers the phone. That lady fails to understand that if there's no customers then there's no business/job!! Its like their way or no way... Also I was surprised that in this day and age they are a cash only business. Is this really even a business? If so that lady that answers the phone needs to go do a rigorous course in customer service and to learn how to treat customers fairly.

This company was dispatched to tow a rig for us and normal procedure is to remove the driveshaft for towing which they did. However when the unit reaches the tow destination, the driveshaft is supposed to be reinstalled by the vendor who removed it. This was not done and when I called and questioned, I was screamed and yelled at and told they would not do that. I highly recommend not using this company for anything. Not only did we have to overpay for the tow, we now have to work for free installing a shaft that we did not remove. We have removed this vendor from our contact list and advise all leasing companies to do the same. This vendor had a 3.2 rating before I even left this review. An absolute disgrace to the service industry.

This place is the worse for customers. We paid a car for storage and towing after an accident and it took them an hour and half to retrieve the car after paying their fees. Other places you go and pay everything off and your car retrieved instantly. If you have another choice (which is the only reason this place is still in business because sometimes customers have no choice when on the city rotation and in distress you need the service) please stay away from this place.

I use to use chucks towing all the time, as I own a business on the same street. It got bought out by Trons towing.... Every experience i have had with them is a nightmare. It's sad. Use to be a very good business to deal with. My 1st experience was i called them to tow my box truck they said an hour they never showed up at all. Then made excuses and i ended up getting it towed by someone else. Then the second time I tried using them was for my company van they showed up late and then the driver stated he had an emergency call and drove away. Now the third and last time I tried to get service from them a family friend got in a wreck on my motorcycle Sunday night. I called Monday they said they didn't have a motorcycle with that name. Cops told me they better have it so I called Tuesday and asked again now they say they have it. So i go there and have tons of issues getting the bike because they needed to make sure i was the real owner. I had paperwork with vin and my name with licence on me. These people clearly don't do business hoping for repeat customers. I'm a business owner and this Palm bay location is ran horribly. The last draw for me is they won't take a credit card and made me pay cash only. $465 to tow a motorcycle from 7 miles away. My buddy had a accident 2 months ago in melbourne tow company was $225. This Palm bay company $465..

On our way back home from Orlando we experienced a massive blowout on our GMC Denali. My husband google local wreckers and Tron’s Auto & Towing was the the only one open. They arrived very quickly. This worker immediately assessed the problem. And determined that it was a blowout. In which time he offered to change that massive tire. His name was Miguel, I’ll call him our guardian Angel from above. He had a great personality and we could tell he enjoys his job. He did a phenomenal job getting our truck back in working form. Yay! Highly recommend this business. Great service!!! Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

I had a contract to tow illegally parked vehicles on my commercial property. I called last night was told someone is coming. I arrived this morning and vehicle was not removed. I called and spoke to manager she did not know why no one came last night nor did she know when someone was coming today. She was offended at my husband yelling in background that this was 4th time we never received service. This time car is parked in work zone section and nothing can be done until the car is moved. Manager could not care less and instead of trying to fix their communication problem with there staff she says I’m canceling your contract bc he yelled at me. Seriously grow up. Do your job someone should have been sent last night as promised. No worries lots of other professional parking lot tow company’s around to take on the job here. You have a blessed day.

ALL parents can relate to the anxiety when your son or in my case my 21 year old daughter, Kiki had a mechanical breakdown for the 1st time EVER. And, even worse when they are far, far away from home hundreds of miles away. Well, THANK GOODNESS for the kindness, efficiency, and very quick responsive service from Tron's Towing Immediately upon making a call to their office Sandy answered the phone and took down her information, located her and immediately called her to make sure she knew that "HELP WAS ON THE WAY". A very short time after sure enough my daughter and her 2 girlfriends were picked up by VIRGIL the tow truck driver whom she said that he couldn't have been nicer, more respectful and made them feel safe from the moment he rescued them. *** I would like to THANK YOU to Ms. Sandy, Virgil and Trons Towing company . In a world where most business's treat people like numbers and personalized service has become a thing of the past this company and their team's "Commitment to Excellence" will never be forgotten, especially for this very very appreciative "Father". I called Tron’s when my daughter’s car broke down on the side of the highway. They arrived within about 20 minutes. The tow driver was very kind and professional. He even called me when he had the car loaded up to reassure me that my daughter was ok. The price was very reasonable as well. Exceptional service!!

We were so impressed with every aspect of the service from the staff to the tow truck operator, Virgil. Virgil was amazing. He was personable, incredibly knowledgeable and suggested several things that were very useful. Wow. These guys truly delivered. Thanks for a great experience!

After wrecking my car, I went to collect my belongings. The wrecker driver offered to help me bring it to my truck. I left my license plate on the car and they grabbed it off the car even though they were about to close. The employees were polite and helpful, and I greatly appreciate their help. Overall if I need future assistance I'm definitely contacting Tron's

Unreliable, Unprofessional, Rude. I was told that I would receive a call prior to picking up my car. I received a call once they were out front of my car and I told them I would be right there 20min tops( this is why I wanted them to call) as I arrive not only is my car on the flatbed but they are also pulling away with my car. Granted they did not even have my key and forced my car onto the flatbed the rude driver did not even want to stop to let me get my belongings I would not recommend these people to my enemy the way this guy spoke to me he is lucky I did not go to their higher up which I am still debating on showing up there or not I will never never use this tow company even if it was a free service!

Please Please Please do not have your vehicle towed by this company! VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS!!!! They will tell you one thing then when you come back they’ll say they never said that. Very unethical! We spoke to the police about them and they just said since it’s a private business they can do what they want. What happened was my girlfriends daughter had an accident. F.D. called a wrecker to pull her car out of the ditch and tow it to “their” property. We wanted to have it towed to our mechanic but they insisted to have it towed there. We were informed that the car would probably be totaled and that if it happens they would take the title. No biggie since the car wasn’t really worth much. Plus we were waiting on police report and insurance guy to file a claim. 3 weeks later on a late Friday afternoon we are informed that we need to get the car out by 3:30 or else face more charges. At this point it was almost a grand in storage fees. We told them we would just give them the title but we were told that they don’t accept that. THEY told us they would take the title when we initially got it impounded! So now, vehicle is deemed totaled, we need to pay these crooks $1K to get it off their property and the salvage yard will only pay $200 for the vehicle. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!! BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH THEM!!!!!!

I was sceptical about calling these guys because of their reviews and "history". They offered me a fair price, to tow a 40' rv 40 miles and they even parked it EXACTLY where I wanted it. The only composing I could possibly have is they were a little slow but I wasn't in any rush myself so it didn't bother me. The grandfather and grandson of the business is who worked with me on the road and I have no complaints about either of them. I spoke to 2 people in the phone one of which was Cathy and she was very lively, joking and I don't have a single complaint about her. I think the negative reviews are based on the fact that the reason you need a tow is because you are having a bad day already, be more patient with people and they will be more patient with you.
