I contacted AAA, and they contacted White's wrecker service. They called and informed me that wrecker driver would be there within an hour. Driver Dakota got there within 15 minutes and he was very patient and understanding. This was one of the best experiences I ever had with a towing company. Very professional service and the driver went over and beyond to make the customer feel comfortable.

Picked up a company van today from them. Very unprofessional, I paid the fee in cash as requested and they gave me the keys. I ask where the vehicle was and was instructed it was across the street in the tow yard. I had to find it myself. This yard was so dirty and nasty I felt I needed a shower from being in it. I hit so many pot holes on the way out that it is a wonder I didn't tear up my vehicle. I know if I need a tow who I am not calling.

I had an axle break on my boat trailer from a pothole about 60 miles from home at a remote boat ramp in Gulf County at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night. White's took our call and towed our boat on it's trailer to our house and got us settled within 3 hours. We had a great experience and would recommend them if you get in a difficult spot.

My daughter left her car at Walmart in Panama City beach, which does have posted signs warning you to not leave the car there. The car was towed by White's to a very small lot that looked like a hurricane had deposited the cars there beside a convience store. The problem that we had is all the upcharges, 50.00 fee to meet you on Sunday,a fee for a dolly which to my knowledge was not needed. The car is a front wheel drive only.The sign reads 7 days a week,so I don't understand the 50.00 fee for coming on Sunday. They would only accept cash and we were given no receipt! We were at fault by leaving the car there so I'm not throwing all the blame on this company but it was like you were at their mercy and they were getting all they could. The 150.00 on the sign,which does say plus fees turns into 242.00 CASH!!!

On Mother’s Day our mini van was unlawfully towed from Burger King on front beach in Panama City Beach. There was no posted signage that stated no parking. The police department was called and explained that although it was an unlawful tow that the way the law is written that they could not help us and that this was a civil matter. We have a video of the entire parking lot with no signage. Whites towing took over an hour to send anyone to release the vehicle. An employee named Danial showed up, was very rude and showed no empathy. They admitted there was no signage but still would not release our vehicle although they discounted the rate to $150. Which is textbook extortion. They also encouraged us to use cash only which felt very shady and dishonest. I question whether our funds will even be claimed on their taxes. We filed a BBB complaint and will follow up with attorney general and DBPR. *update. We filed a complaint with Florida Attorney Generals office for predatory/illegal towing.

My daughter's car was towed over spring break in Panama City while she was at a restaurant. Her experience with this company was awful! Once she was able to determine what service towed her car, she called them and they told her if she could arrive in within 20 minutes, the charge would be $150. She was over 30 minutes from the place and without a car, she first needed to find a ride, which was a challenge in itself as she was the only person in her group with a car. They told her no problem, if she arrived after that time, there would be an additional storage fee and the total would be $200, in CASH. She withdrew the money from her bank account, found a ride and headed to White's. When she arrived, it was around 7:30PM. There was no one at the facility so she called and they told her it she would have to wait for someone to arrive. It took 30 minutes for a guy to arrive, during which time she and a friend had to wait in an alley, they felt very unsafe during the wait (thankfully she brought a friend along). Once the guy got there, he said the charge was going to be $242 because she arrived late. What?!- the girl on the initial phone call NEVER told her there was a time she needed to be there by. All she had was $200 in cash, the guy told her she would need to go to the gas station next door and get more cash from the ATM. When she arrived at the gas station, the clerk asked her, "are they telling you the charge is more than what they said on the phone? They do this all the time with young women, they tell them the charge is higher than what they were told once they get to the shop". When she went back to the shop, my daughter told the guy what the clerk had said and he asked her if she wanted to get her car or not? He was very rude and again my daughter and friend felt they were in an unsafe environment, needed to pay and get out of there. She got her car and called us crying, scared and very upset with how she was treated. Getting your car towed is traumatic enough when you are in a city you are not familiar with but, the treatment she received picking up her car was uncalled for, downright wrong and most likely illegal. First of all, why do they ONLY accept CASH, and why did the amount keep increasing? Very disappointing, we will be calling the WalMart that had her car towed as well to recommend NOT using this company due to the poor and dishonest service they provide. Read other reviews, this issue is mentioned over and over, it's a shame a business can stay open when they offer such poor customer service and are dishonest!

This company is ran by crooks who apparently make their living by taking advantage of people here in vacation in Panama City. My wife and son took a rental golf cart to the movies and it was towed an hour after them being there. They then charged my son 175.00 to get it back. I spoke with a very rude Kirsten who tells me that pier park called them to tow it which was a blatant lie. We spoke to pier park and they did not call anyone to tow it and was very sorry it happened. This lady the tells me that their is no one to speak with because it was after 5. I thought towing companies were open 24/7. I have been told to talk to Amanda and request a refund based off them illegally towing this and then blatantly lying about it. They then stated it was abandoned and that is what is Marked on their paperwork which again another lie. It clearly is a rental which a lot of visitors use and then are used by this company who are crooks in my opinion

My experience with this tow company was not a good one. I left my car for no longer than an hour before finding that it was taken. The first time we called they would not tell us if they had actually taken my car. We thought it was stolen. A guy who sat by my car said he wasn’t paying attention when we asked if he saw what happened but in reality he was actually one of the tow workers. This is a very sketchy business that takes cash only. Reported to the Florida Attorney General for sketchy business. I had to walk 35 minutes in a very sketchy part of PCB while the guy drove straight past us back to the tow business.

That think because they drive a truck with blinking lights that makes them boss of the roadway. And they have a money scam going on with Bay county for towing anything and everything. Don’t use this wrecker service. Daughter’s car was towed after being parked in a restaurant parking area for 2 hours. No signs anywhere at the business stating customers only cars will be towed or which wrecker service towed the vehicle or their rates. Car was at wrecker service approximately 4 hours and cost $240 cash. That’s a heck of a rate. Wouldn’t be surprised if the business gets a kick back from Whites.

I would never recommend White’s Wrecker Service to anyone since they are nothing but a bunch of thieves who are only in business because they bribed PCB for their contract with the Beach PD. And watch out for Bubba White & Zachariah White because those two are the Main Ringleaders of their business a.k.a. Criminal Operation. I really think that both the Florida Department of Revenue and the IRS should take a look at their books because running a “CASH ONLY” business like they are usually involves tax fraud.

I'd like to give a special shout out/kudos to Brandon, who provided the service both times. I've had several tow experiences in my life and never have I had such impeccable service. Brandon is prompt, communicative, professional, and friendly. He arrived with the proper equipment to load and tow my car (can't use "regular" towing with a Boxster, and furthermore for the second tow the car was completely inoperable and required a winch [plus pushing the car out of its location]).
