The Best auto parts store I’ve been to in along time they had everything and the two gentleman behind the counter were most hospitable and informative, felt like old friends. I Highly recommend Carquest, Bethany De.
I visited this place twice in 3yrs from PHILLY on my way to OCMD. Both times, in two different cars ( 2022 Chrysler town and country/ 2024 Chevy TRX) they couldn't provide turn signal for the Chrysler and windshield wipers for the Chevy as hurricane Erin was approaching.
Had a dead car battery - came here and got fantastic service from John. Quick, professional, and super helpful. Fair pricing.

This morning woke up to a dead car battery. Was able to get a jump start. Drove right over to Bethany Auto Parts where Greg was able to check my battery and alternator. Greg changed my battery in no time. He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend 100%!!!! Thank you for you help!!!!!
Staff is excellent! They were very helpful and polite. I just needed a key fob battery and the gentleman changed it without me even asking. Which was a plus because I didn’t know what I was doing. I appreciate the help and the tremendous service! Thank you!
Clean, well stocked store with great service. Went to the counter told them what I needed, got some great suggestions, out the door in less than five minutes. Simply amazing! All stores should be this good. Highly recommended!
I’d gotten a tip from an acquaintance that Carquest would not only sell you a car battery but install it too. And they surely did. It could not have been easier or more convenient! $215 and 15 minutes and I was on my way.
(As opposed to the local, independent mechanic that I wanted to give business to but they wouldn’t give me even a rough, ballpark cost over the phone.)
Plus, I had never been in this store before — it’s huge! Everything you could possibly need for fishing, for your car, and even a fun selection of casual beach wear clothes (who knew?!).
Customer service was astounding. Helped us run testing on on vehicle and even helped charge it while we were waiting to hear back from the garage. Amazing service. Highly recommended 👌
The service is average. All the prices are high. They don't offer reasonable options. I needed a battery for a 20 year old truck for my 90 year old father in law. $189.
Unless you really want a diehard, go to Auto zone or Walmart. The battery is $129 there. I asked for a senior discount or a veterans discount. Nope.
This place is great! All of your automotive needs, as well as a great selection of fishing tackle and boating accessories! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Facility is clean and organized.
This place is fantastic the other day I bought wipers from them and they installed them, a few years back I was going to buy a new battery for my boat and instead of just selling me a battery they asked me to check the terminals and the battery clamps and low and behold that’s what it was I didn’t need a battery these guys are great people and very friendly to work with its a pleasure walking in there I will always shop there before I go to big box stores or online stores
Local auto parts, marine and fishing supplies. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They tested our car battery for free, helped select a new one and helped us replace it in the parking lot. We have used them several times and their advice is always spot on.
Greg saved my but when I had a bad battery on 4th of July weekend. Nobody else in town could help me out but he did it quickly, professionally and knowledgeably. He explained everything clearly then installed the new battery in a few minutes. I'll go there for my auto needs in the future.
I love this store everyone from the owner to the rest of the staff is so helpful ,personable and professional. They have checked the air in my tires when I bought a tire gage and changed out my windshield wipers. They have some cool accessories like sunglasses and waders. Check this store out! 👍👍👍👍👍
Men who work there aim to serve. They will put your wiper blades on or change out your car battery. The prices are very reasonable too. People love fishing the supplies are available. I love walking around the aisles to see what they sell. Enjoy!
I go there for maritime, fishing, crabing and watercraft needs. The even have some awesome flipflops. They are Always courteous and with open ears to listen and throughly address any questions.
I am visiting in town and needed a new headlight for my car. John was very helpful with looking up my cars make/model and finding the right bulb. HOWEVER, we are in the middle of a global pandemic and John was NOT WEARING A MASK the WHOLE TIME I was there. Its just uncomfortable, honestly and not good business.
The owner of this store is the best! This is my favorite store to go to when I am at the beach. This store has everything for my boat, and for my car. Fishing gear also! When my power washer wouldn’t work, they spent 30 minutes with me trying to figure out how to find the parts to make it work....and they did!! I love impulse buying the small items they have at the counter and somehow, they always have what I need!!!! Go to this store. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks to this store for having that small, home town feeling which is so hard to find these days.
Got me out of a jam! Battery on my car died and AAA didn’t have one on their truck so they got it running and said good luck. Called a bunch of places and Carquest said sure, come on by and we’ll install it for you. They had it done in 5 minutes, and had a good price on the battery to boot! I really appreciate their help. They couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient.
I have found this place to be very clean and nice and friendly. The people are honest and extremely helpful. They take the time to look through their supplies with you and will order something you need. I don’t know a lot about things like which bulb my car needs or what size fuse my car needs but they will happily take the time to look it up and order it if they don’t have it. And they have a great sense of humor because sometimes you need to know things like how many liters your engine has and I just stare at them and answer “ enough so that it runs well?” And they will go look at the car and tell me. I have also brought in various doohickeys off the lawnmower for them to order as well.
We've been going here for years and the people there are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We go mostly for the marine and fishing supplies they have. Always a lot to choose from when it comes to tackle, rods and reels. And if you're not sure what you need, they're always more than willing to recommend products.
Great Honest Company! My mom went in recently thinking she needed a new battery. It turned out her battery was fine and the one side was a bit corroded. They cleaned it off and sent her away without charge. Thankful they were honest and didn’t charge her for a new battery when she would be none the wiser.
