Bad customer service poor communication and they lied to me over the phone just to get me to come to the store and buy something I didn’t need but told me they had it in stock at that point I didn’t have a option I was already there when I had several other places tell me they had what I needed 0 stars if I could
Dear god I come all the way out here because they have the part that I need and they say I can’t bring my jack in to get it what the hell am I supposed to use my hands? I’m didn’t just come here to look at dead cars smh
I was told by another salvage co that he would pay me the best for my Ford which was still running & had 3 catalytics. It's hard to get anyone to answer the phone there & it seems he closes whenever he wants. He moved his location South about a half mile and it was the worst mess I've ever seen. He wouldn't even make me an offer, like he didn't want to be bothered. I wouldn't waste my time again going there for anything.
Very poor customer service and rarely anyone there working. For being in business for over 40 years, I honestly don't know how they have been. I also discovered a number of mechanics & auto repair businesses that refuse to do business with them.
Very Rude. The Man Told Me $70 For 1 Used Fender Liner When You Can Buy 4 Brand New For That Price. When I Mentioned That His Exact Words Were “Well Buy Them There”
I called after hours and to my surprise someone answered! He was friendly and very helpful. They were much better than Delaware Auto Salvage, who I called right before them and was very displeased at their customer service. He did say call back the next day to talk to someone about the part I needed. He told me to ask for Angel and again nothing but great service and such a reasonable price for everything I needed. He answered all my questions I asked without sounding rude or annoyed like Delaware did. My mom was also impressed about how nice and friendly they were. If I ever need a car part again Shuster's is the first place I'm gonna contact.
Live in Harrington. Called to see if they had a part for my 88 Camry. Guy says yeah we have Camrys. Made sure he knew what year I was asking for. Drove 1 hour 15 min to lot. What a mess. They have no idea what's on their lot. Have been to several other salvage yards. All had computers and knew every vehicle they had. Wasted 3 hours, $20 in gas and tolls. Go elsewhere.
Just stopped by there, I asked if I could look through salvage cars for car manuals. Was told no immediately. Then I was angrily explained to that someone else came by and wanted to use the car manuals for their business. He wasn't going to sell them for the other guy to use either. Not sure why he would rather trash manuals instead of selling them. He seemed upset at me for asking. Maybe I caught the guy on a bad day but he seemed unnecessarily rude and suspicious of my intent.
Well let me reiterate that this place is a salvage yard so I'm not sure what I was expecting as far as customer service goes but it was a poor experience from the jump so I'm going to stop there. I want to say that I did not do any business with this company simply because once I was quoted a sky high price and I made a respectful fair counted offer with am explanation but was not hung up on not once but twice. It may be a great organization I just wish I had the opportunity to find out.. Good luck everyone
