After having an initial good experience with them, I am shocked at how much they failed to do things correctly with my vehicle . I am not too familiar with cars and my parents were the ones callling this business to help me get my car paid for . I am getting tires changed on the car right now and while it is in the air , I am being told that there is a lug nut missing from every single tire . That is not how I bought it. They are the only ones to work on my car since buying it. And there were 2 missing from the front tire that had the damage they were working on. I have barely driven this car since receiving it back from them. Due to issues getting my tags from the dmv, now I am back on the road . I am appalled . I am shocked . And I’m honestly hurt . I was going through a hard time in the middle of my car being in the shop for a few months already , my parents paying more than what was even discussed and to still have problems that could’ve harmed me and my children if one of the tires fell off …. Not sure I will and can do business with them ever again. I get we were probably annoying over time , especially because it had to stay there for a long period of time, but it sucks to find this out.. but it’s sad bc there’s not many collision or body shops near Dover .

I took my car there after an accident. The car needed to have two doors and the fender replaced. The first time I brought them the car they held the car for about 6+ weeks. I came to pick it up and none of the body lines aligned. I voiced my complaint And left the car there to get this fixed, keep in mind it’s an hour and a half of a drive for me. They had the car for about a week called and said it was ready. I came back home and noticed cat prints all over my hood and the side that was painted the cat used as scratching device. The workers at the shop used a black touchup marker on the freshly painted side to cover up the scratches. Once I got home, and the car was under the sun I saw all The touchups these guys did. I called the owner Ed And voiced my problem. Ed was kind enough to send a tow truck to pick up the car and have it brought back to them to repaint. It took almost 2 weeks for them to repaint the side of the car, after the work was done, The car was Towed Trucked Back to my house. Once I received the car I noticed a few things wrong. First I was told the whole side of the car would be painted, but only the doors and the fender was painted. The rear quarter panel was not. So now under the sun The quarter panel does not match the two doors and the fender. Furthermore, the gas tank door was not painted instead was touched up with a black marker. Not sure why. Even Furthermore, the side that was repainted had a whole bunch of fish eyes along with the whole bunch of orange peel and worst of all the mudflap that they repainted or so called painted had peeling paint. Felt like the car was not prepped correctly and the paint didn’t stick to what they painted. It’s now been almost 2+ months since I had the car only for these guys to say let’s bring the car back again will repaint it again. It’s truly sad to see people nowadays take no pride in their work. I appreciate the fact that the owner of this place tried to do the right thing by not having me drive an hour and I have each way and getting me a flatbed. But at the end of the day, the car has been back multiple times and always comes back with new issues. Lastly, whoever backed out the car from wherever it was stored, scratched the rear bottom of the bumper against something and they left it unfixed. I ended up sending the car to a body shop three hours away just to fix what these guys did. It sucks big time because the insurance company will not pay to have these guys work re done. They’re only suggestion is to keep going back to these guys until they fix it correctly. For those of you who are car People can sympathize with the pain and headache of having to send your car back several times Only to have it come back with new issues.

I don’t usually do reviews but got in an accident about a year ago had to buy a new door was a completely different red… took it up here Ed got it right pretty quick and at a decent price and it looks amazing! Even left touch-up paint and was more than happy to give me the paint code as well. Amazing service and even better job on the paint itself
I had a small but somewhat complicated bit of metal damage on my truck. Ed looked at it and gave me an estimate on the spot that was right where I thought it should be. He told me he could have it done in a week, l brought the truck back on a Monday and he had it done Thursday.
The repair and paint match is exceptional and so was the overall experience!
This was a disappointing experience to say the least! I contacted the owner Jason about my vehicle, needing to be repaired. He mentioned, since I was a Geico customer/referred by this specific adjuster. To come in and he’ll take good care of me. Well, that was a lie! This is a prime example of a business choosing profits over people.
Jason’s told me to bring the check and drop my car off and he’ll take care of everything. Afterwards he told me to bring it in when I got back from vacation on December 30th. When I called him, he told me he took six cars in front of my car because it was more money for his business. Wow all I can say is wow. Bad business only goes so far especially with word-of-mouth!
After an accident needed Ford Ranger front bumper attached on one side before dealer replacement of headlight. Problems getting someone to return phone calls and them erroneously returning the replacement bracket delayed repair until very last minute. Cost more than expected but repair looks quite good. Great employees but poor customer communications.
So had them do an insurance job for me for my rear bumper within 2 years. And today the clearcoat is peeling I messeged them through email and I have never received a reply from them still. Their manager didnt treat me right as well whenever I inquire something. Also when I referred my friend to them. My buddy told me he spoke to ed first and when a couple came to the shop he made him wait long till he spoke to him. Never again will I come back here and refer other people to them. They have a very good crew but the manager.
Ed worked hard to get my car fixed after an accident back in October. Due to COVID and getting parts it took awhile to get in and get it done, but I understood these things are out of their control. The car now looks great! They also took the time to look it over and make sure it was fixed correctly and that the paint looked perfect. Highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for any body work!

A deer ran into my brand new car while it was parked and did damage to the front fender, wheel, hood, and grill. Ed and all the staff at Allison’s handled my insurance company, got everything approved, and then completed all the body work and paint it needed in a week! My car was detailed inside and out and looks brand new again. Honestly the best experience I have every had with a car shop. Would highly recommend.

I have had three cars repaired here and I will tell you I haven’t been disappointed. Had a Nissan done and I was afraid the paint match wouldn’t be close even though it was only black paint the car had some mileage on it. When we picked the car up it was clean and polished and you could tell where the front had ever been hit. Highly recommend this Body shop
Great body shop I was very happy with the work done. They are a small shop and very big on customer service. You talk to the owner not an employee and he will negotiate with your insurance company to get what you pay for. They will be the first one I will call if anything happens to my vehicle.
Very friendly place to deal with. The owner himself showed me around his shop then showed me the waiting area. I came in with an attitude bc of the circumstance but left with a smile. I would definitely recommend any vehicle repairs be done here.
I got rear-ended in a hit-and-run and my brand new car was pretty badly damaged. I took my car to Allison's because I had heard a lot of good things.
The owner greeted us, and came right out to take a look at the car immediately. He examined the damaged, took pictures and wrote us up a quote right on the spot. What I was really happy about though, was that he took the time to explain what exactly needed to be repaired, so I understood why everything cost what it did, and how long it would take.
And when I got my car back, it looked like nothing had ever happened! It looks brand new again and I couldn't be happier!
