I have to thank the woman who waited on me this morning at the Dover DMV. I wish I had gotten her name. She was so patient and helped me with stuff I didn’t know. On top of that I had trouble with my debit card. She never got upset with me and was extremely nice the whole time. I hope I see her again. She made my day.

I drove all the way to this location from Newark so my daughter could take her driver's test and it was canceled due to weather. Her date to reschedule isn't till end of Nov. now.! How is that even fair and how do they not even call to reschedule or let her know it was canceled.

DMV Title "specialist" PMVACWC gave me the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Management needs to be reevaluated if this type of behavior that's acceptable. Interactions like mine would never be tolerated in the private sector...

My recent visit to the DMV was a pleasant experience thanks to the excellent customer service I received. I want to give a special mention to Elijah, who went above and beyond to make the process smooth. He was very friendly, patient and took the time to explain everything clearly. Excellent service. Went to Dover DMV to have a mobile house title put in my brother and my name to prepare for selling. Regina GiGi Holmes took care of us . She was pleasant and professional, which made our day! Thanks GiGi for your help!! Would highly recommend!! .

I went there to change my drivers license from NJ to DE and its been a hassle!! Took me 30 minutes to get there and 30 minutes to drive back home to be told I didn't have enough paperwork to do this. So now I have to back again and drive another hour. Simply ridiculous!!

Jampacked with people and workers here are very rude, slow, unprofessional and just want to do the tasks anyhow as if they don’t care. Had to go there twice and disappointed with the service they provide.

Worst dmv in the state! Unprofessional! DEBORAH KIRLIN is the WORST worker in that building. She’s rude and gives attitude for no reason at all.

Had a great experience at DMV today. When I arrived all of the inspection lanes were extremely long. However, I only had to sit in line for about 15 minutes. I guess because of the holiday weekend they got everybody through quickly.

I would like to thank Alexis for helping me to get my license back. The process for getting my license back has definately been a challenge. After 15+ years now I have them back. Alexis took the time to listen and quickly came up with a viable solution. In addition to Alexis, I would like to thank JD for listening to my problem on the phone and letting me know what I needed to do to get my license back in a timely manner. Those appointment times are brutal. Lastly, I would like to thank Charles for helping to keep my anxiety at bay while I took the driving test. I will be forever Grateful for your help. Each one of you made my experience wonderful. May GOD continue to bless each one of you!

Eh, the place is usually very busy. Hate it when I’m trying to take a CDL endorsement test, they don’t close the door and the room is so small. All you hear is bunch of people yapping from the hallway.

Working in a fast paced environment like dmv dove is usually not easy. The office is mostly crowded and the employees have to answer a lot of questions. Some employees are usually upset for no reason but there are some extremely good employees that would make your day. The building was spacious, clean, organized and well maintained. I was here for time to do my drivers license and I can attest that the lady at the hallway issuing tickets was the best. She was very happy doing her job, smiling, making shot conversation and providing information.

Extremely Unprofessional and rude staff in dealer services. I was told that I failed to follow simple directions therefore she didn’t want to waste her time and mine and rejected the transaction, this could have been completed with just a simple response back to our email. Now the transaction is further delayed after a month.

Very unprofessional and hung up on me. I never write reviews becuase I like to give people the benefit of doubt but. They man I spoke with was the worst I didn't even get his name I was transfered to him.from a lady..but sad how if people need to ask a question they are getting paid to help. if you don't like people don't work with people.

Every time I've been here, I've gotten in and out in less than 10 minutes and everyone has been super friendly. Best DMV experience I've had through multiple different states!

Had to get a license renewal today Lady at desk seemed very annoyed already and was the rudest impatient person. Got annoyed when I asked questions about my license like she couldn’t be bothered. One minute she wanted me away from the window and asked me to sit down then next tells me to hurry up and then calls me racist because I stood up for myself with her nasty attitude. Seems like an easy job to have so not sure why the unhappy attitude… but horrible customer service!!!!

Very nerve wracking experience trying to get my license renewed. I’m in the military and have not physically resided in Delaware for quite sometime, so understandably so I had to provide documentation to get my license renewed. No problem I provide the requested documentation. I was contacted a few weeks later and informed that certain documents were missing. I comply, but I expressed to the woman assisting me verbally and via email that I was in process of moving and asked her if she could mail my license to my brother’s address. She agreed, but my brother informed me that he never received my license in the mail. I reached back out to her and she tells me she sent the license to my previous address. I then provided her with a screenshot where I expressed where I wanted the license mailed that she claims she never saw, which I find hard to believe just seemed like gross negligence to me. She then agreed to send me another license. By now I was settled into my new place and gave her my new address and when I do she gives me attitude! I know everybody makes mistakes and we sometimes get overwhelmed and i’m very lenient when it comes to these matters! But at the same time our transportation is very vital to our livelihood and these matters should be taken seriously with little margin for error! I also don’t appreciate being given attitude when it was her own incompetence that got us here to begin with!

It's easier to drive illegally than to get an immigrant military spouse a driver's license. DE needs to streamline the process and have a bit of competency in this matter. Also hearing different requirements from different employees and coming here for the third time now for the same issue.

We went to the Dover, DE DMV last week (first time we had ever been there), to take care of 3 separate pieces of business. First we were greeted by the most friendly person at the front desk, who was helpful and directed us on exactly what we needed to do. Then we had a zero wait time (amazing!). Yvonne and Elijah were knowledgeable, nice, and handled our 3 requests, without issue. We were so impressed with the efficiency at the Dover, DE DMV.

This place is absolutely the worst. When they screw up they refuse to acknowledge it and then when you as the customer(taxpayer) lose your patients they act like you are in the wrong. Have nerve to tell you to be patient when they are the ones who don't know what they are doing at all. Funny though when you go above them and start speaking to the people from upstairs they magically get your stuff right when they knew they were wrong all together. Not a single apology either. A lot of the staff in this building are rude and have minimum knowledge of DMV policies and Delaware traffic laws. This place needs a real good house cleaning for sure.

Just a terrible experience. My mom wanted to take her drivers license written exam, and everything leading up to it was fine. However the minute she went to take the test, it was awful. My mom came back in tears. She could not focus at all. The room was very small to take the test in, and that in itself was not too bad. But apparently the person watching over them taking the test was loudly talking and gossiping. They provided no headphones or anything. The proctor kept on talking and disturbing everyone in there trying to take the test. My mom was so upset. We paid good money and she studied very hard to try and pass. But just could not focus during the test at all, and ended up leaving 10 questions in because she could not focus. How they can do this in a testing environment makes no sense. It's appalling to know you're paying to take a test, and can't even have any quiet or a room separate to do so. We will never come back here, and instead drive to the DMV in Bear.

Recently signed up for a motorcycle course which said walk ins welcome. Well this is the second time I've walked in. First time the start time was different then on my confirmation letter and the second time the building was locked and there was no instructor to be found. Two employees went in and one said they would check upstairs for the instructor and never returned. Called all the numbers I could find, no answer. Checked the website and Facebook, no notification the class was canceled. No email-nothing. Been waiting an hour.Wow...most unorganized thing I've seen in awhile.

Inspection lanes and service windows are a quick and pleasant breeze at 8am; several visits over last couple months. Pleasant, helpful staff each visit. Inside and out are clean, system is organized, and always people around to help if we had any questions. We also had a new driver during one of those visits (3pm) and the person helping us was excited for the moment for our child and very helpful.

I got my second COVID shot at the Dover DMV, and the customer service from the National Guard was Superior! I appreciate the genuine conversation and concern they had for me during my waiting period, and throughout the entire process! Thanks Guys, and Great Job! Thank you for your Service! Today, 5/19/23, I had to renew my driver's license and had an excellent experience at the DMV. The representative Peggy Porter was so helpful so professional made me laugh and gave me a different experience that I've had in any other DMV. Keep up the good work Peggy keep up the good work over DMV and appreciate you guys Thanks a lot!!!
