I visited this location to have an emissions test done. I told the staff I didn’t have much time and they kindly processed my vehicle quickly. Staff was super friendly and pleasant. My daughter also takes her car for oil changes at this location and she’s never had a complaint.

Made appointment and work was done on time. I found office to be clean and employee courteous. Checked brakes and said still good. Honesty in auto repairs is appreciated.

Having a very bad experience at another oil change location everyone in this place was absolutely fantastic polite courteous speedy made me feel like I was important

Took our new car for them to check a noise in the front end. It only needed brakes and tires. They were able to get everything done even with a problem at the shop they came through for us. We will definitely go back there again

Very Friendly! Good experience but didn’t realize until I got home and looked at my invoice that I had only received an oil change. It was suppose to be a tire rotation as well. Maybe a miscommunication of some kind

Made an appointment on line and took the truck at the scheduled time. Both John and Andrew were very professional, competent, and friendly. Steve was able to accurately diagnose the problem and recommend a repair at a very reasonable price. The work was done in a timely manner and the truck now drives like new. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for an honest auto repair shop. Great people and outstanding work.

The guy working the counter was great but how come you don't heat your waiting area and what about putting a TV on like the colchester store has and maybe a coffee machine or something warm

I've been coming to the Willimantic Meinke for a couple of years now. The technicians are always great and very helpful in explaining to me what I need and what I don't need and I feel the pricing is very reasonable compared the dealerships. I would and have recommend them,

I was recently traveling from out of town and every single warning light on my car started coming on. The team at Meineke squeezed me into their schedule and took great care of my car so I could safely drive it 450 miles home. I am very grateful for them!

I took my car in for a high mileage oil change and a check engine light also was having issues with the temp gauge,the young man at the counter was very polite and helpful, during the initial appointment making and when arriving ....my car popped up 2 codes ,one that was fixable that day, it needed a new sensor, the other code is an evap issue which requires more time to find the exact problem..They were very efficient, and I will be going back to get the other issue corrected...I feel the price was very fair, and I was satisfied with their service!

My local shop in Willimantic is very professional. You make an appointment, they work on your car that day and very rarely have I had to leave my car with them for more than a day. Sometimes they have to get parts for my 2002 car, but generally, the work is done within a few hours. They're very friendly and good about answering questions. I am 71 and recently found myself having difficulty getting a ride from friends to and from the garage, and they very kindly picked me up and dropped me off. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. I also love that they're located on Main Street, which normally means I can get a ride to and from the garage from friends. But if worse came to worse, I could take a bus. So, it's a very convenient location.

Great service on our cargo van we use for our food pantry. The work was completed quickly, great price and friendly staff! We will be back.

I had repairs done here in February and technicians did not properly clean battery connector cables which resulted in the positive terminal on a new battery to severely corrode. Had to call for AAA when my truck wouldn't start up at a gas station. Battery tested and was found to be bad. I went to another Meineke and they resolved my issue for me.

Been using them since 2018 for company vehicles , fleet and regular. Always professional , fast and great work. Every employee there cares about their job and their clients. Take time and build a relationship with this company and its employees.

Had rear differential fluid change on 2016 Ford 150. Very friendly people there and checked work done and no leaks. Happy and will go back again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Very bad experience. Took my truck in 4 times for 2 different problems and it was never fixed. I had to take it to someone else. Then I found out when they changed the spark plugs on my Dodge grand caravan they broke the intake manifold and because I didn’t notice until 6 months later they denied my request to fix it and they put the wrong oil in it as well so it started burning oil. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I made an appointment on the MEINEKE website. I booked a 2pm appointment for emissions and decided to add an oil change because…convenience right? I show up to my appointment on time and am told by the clerk that they stop doing emissions at 1pm but they could still do my oil change. Question 1- if they stop doing emissions at 1 then why did the site allow me to book the appointment? Question 2- if it was an oversite because of a new system as he said, then why didn’t anyone notify/call me to see if I still wanted to keep my appointment since they couldn’t complete both the services that I had booked? I could’ve rescheduled, I could’ve made an appointment elsewhere. They shouldn’t just assume that would be ok with that. Totally wasted my time that day. Although annoyed I rescheduled for the next weekend when both services could be done at the same time. That day comes, I drop my vehicle off and go kill some time while it’s being worked on. They inform me it’s ready, I go back and ready to pay and the clerk tells me that emissions is payable only in cash. I don’t have cash, I wasn’t told ahead of time and wasn’t prepared. So I have to leave and walk across a busy street to go to the ATM and add in the extra $5 charges for foreign ATM fees. I again walk across the busy street and pay for my services. The clerk was very nice. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice. My biggest complaint is they need to work on COMMUNICATION. I was inconvenienced with both my experiences there and I won’t be going back.

Went here for the first time. My check engine light was on and within 2 hrs they fixed my problem. The mechanics were very nice and explained the process. The price wasn’t bad because I had my own parts.

I was very impressed with that the Meineke personnel did not try to sell me services that I didn’t need. The dealership told me I needed new tires and new brakes and the total cost was gonna be about $2000 even though they said the tires were on sale. The Meineke representative said no you don’t need new tires and your rotors are fine. You just need brake pads so the bill will be $398 as opposed to the $2000 quoted to me by the dealership. I was very impressed. I look forward to having Meineke perform the work. I will be returning.

I’ve been going to meineke for service on my work truck. I always found them to be helpful and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I received the worst possible service yesterday. I was totally taken a back. I came in for an oil and fuel filter change. I also wanted a quote for new tires and the brakes checked. They only charged me for an oil change when I checked out. The girl working was very rude and short with me when I questioned why the other work wasn’t done. She said they couldn’t get the filters. She also said that I didn’t ask to have tires quoted and brakes checked. She very rudely flipped her monitor around to show me that it wasn’t mentioned. Honestly this girl did not want to be there and shouldn’t be working with the public. Employees like that will ruin any business if given the opportunity!

Always affordable pricing for regular maintenance. Friendly staff that understand your situations, online and mobile app appointment schedulers. Nice bay window in case you want to watch your car as they work on it. It may look like a small location but has plenty of knowledgeable people to help you out. Free WiFi for those who need to work while they wait or want to pass the time browsing Reddit. Lastly for those with nothing to do there is magazines, a TV with cable and what appears to be a private area if you want to wait alone.
