This is my second year of getting wood pellets delivered to my home from Eastford Building Supply in Eastford Connecticut. Their pellets were more affordable than other businesses. Nice store and everybody's very friendly and helpful.
I had the pleasure of working with Emily who designed my new kitchen. It was a first for me and I had no idea what my kitchen could be! She made me feel confident with her design knowledge and was just so extremely helpful, from looking at colors between walls,cabinets and granite to style of hardware. She answered all of my questions and helped me make sure I chose the right appliances for my space. It was an awesome experience working with her and I would use her expertise again in any room of my home!
You walk in and within 5 seconds someone has sprang on you to offer customer service like a pit-bull to a toddler. Small business prices but has premium quality wood at big box store prices. You want guys who know what they are selling. Shop here.
One of their Kitchen Designers, Emily designed a peninsula for us and change all of our lower cabinets and put in granite counter tops. For the first time in my life, I love, love my kitchen. Everything is perfect. I finally have a grown-up kitchen at 64yo. ?
I have been coming here for years now, and I'm constantly blown away with the level of customer service. I have completed three major projects using their lumber, and have always received free delivery, free pick-up of unused supplies, and can complete a large lumber order in literally minutes. I have even completed simple orders over the phone and had the supplies waiting for me when I get home from work. I will never go to a big box store again!
My daughter just stopped in for help with home repair project. Received excellent service. Asked the right questions to be sure she received the right product.
They are friendly, until you order a custom object with exact measurements and they send you a product that requires extra modifications. Then they put the blame back on you after you tell them exactly what you need. They lost my business for good, and I will never recommend them for anything to anyone. I’d rather watch Home Depot grow after this. At least they make it right when you tell them they gave you an unsatisfactory product.
Great place. High quality materials at good prices. Better materials at lower prices than the big box stores. Friendly staff goes the extra distance to get you what you need. Lots of different products to make it one stop shopping.
Absolutely excellent service every time I go. Eastford Building Supply always has the items I need. Haven't been to Lowe's or Home Depot in ages because home improvement chain store customer service stinks.
My favorite for local contractors and homeowners. Originally an independent hardware store, now part of a larger organization, the employees still maintain a friendly and helpful shop. Unless it's very unusual, they will probably have what you need for most purposes.
What a great experience. Great atmosphere, everyone was helpful and full of knowledge. Helped with all our issues and orders everything I needed to do the job. Plus had the best prices around. I will def be buying all my home renovation material from there.
Eastford is not your average local lumber yard. Don't be fooled by big box places, Eastford is just as affordable and even better service. They actually have people to help you and have a clue. If they don't have it on hand it will be in before you know it. I use them for a ton of residential and commercial work, customer service is why I keep coming back.
Best building supply co. in the tri-state area! Can't say enough about the people, the service and the quality of their products. I and many other trades men use them just about exclusively. Lumber, paint, hardware, cabinets, doors & windows, plumbing, electrical ect.... Family owned and operated. And I have always felt like family there. Great group of people always going the extra mile.
