Simply the best. I broke down on I84 and got towed in very late in the day on a Friday. Long story short, they were super helpful in every aspect including helping me get a rental car. Best!
Matt and his sister went above and beyond to help me get my brakes fixed. Walked in for estimate and it was in my budget. Matt was able to do the service that day. Was so happy to find a local service station that offers quality services and is very easy to work with.

I would highly recommend John & Matt and the team at AutoMedics. The dealership my mother brought her car to said she needed to have the turbo replaced and it was going to cost $4000+. We decided to take the car to John & Matt for a second opinion. So glad we did! They looked at her car and figured out it was only a valve that connected to the turbo that needed to be replaced. This saved my mother over $3500. They were recommended to us by a friend and we couldn't be happier! Thank you again guys!

2012 Kia Optima Hybrid.I went to these guys after having horrible interactions with Kia of East Hartford. Auto Medics legitimately went above and beyond to help me out and get me situated. As someone who works on their own car I can truly say that these guys were honest, quick and, I cannot stress this enough, AWESOME! I trust them entirely with my baby. Wish y'all were in Meriden, but it was completely worth it. Thanks again guys!!!
This shop is unbelievably kind, fair, professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Never once was I pressured into unnecessary services or ridiculed for my lack of in depth car knowledge. The price for my brake job was so good I thought they forgot to charge me for labor! Clearly everyone working at this shop takes great pride and care in their work. I am so thankful for this experience!
Love this place!!! Used to deliver parts to them while I worked at Napa. They were always super friendly. Whenever I need work on my car the are always my go to mechanic!! Always fast and friendly service and fair pricing!
These guys are amazing! They did a TON of work on my 2005 Chevy Cobalt! Replaced fuel lines, replaced both control arms, new tires, oil change, etc... And they did it quick! The car runs like it's brand new! Definitely found myself a new mechanic shop that I trust for the first time in years!!!
I have been going to auto medics since they opened. Always so courteous and their prices are incredible. They treat every car as if it were their own. I'd never go anywhere else.
I had a rubbing noise in the rear passenger side wheel area. Thought it might’ve been a wheel bearing and was very concerned about driving the car. Called Auto Medics and they took my car right away. Assessed the issue. Called in two hours and the issue was fixed. It was not what I thought. They could have changed the wheel bearing (I would not have known that wasn’t the problem) and charged me but they were honest. I was also very pleased with the bill. I have a new place to take my car from now on.
SO impressed. We were what you'd call a difficult customer with a million questions and extremely worried about price. We needed a lot done - brakes, rotors, an oil change, front lower ball joints on both sides, among other things. The prices here are unbelievable. Just the brakes and rotors would have cost us over $1000 somewhere else but we were able to get every issue addressed for half what it would cost elsewhere.
They also went above and beyond and picked the car up for us as I was worried about driving it in its condition.
Both John and his daughter are extremely professional and friendly. They've gained new customers for life.
Only garage I use! John and his son are reliable, fair, and knowledgeable! I never have to worry I am being over charged. They even come pick my car up at my work!
I had a broken valve spring that I likely would have never found given the issues my truck was having, they were fast, they understood what the truck was there for and didn't fool around. The price was fair, they were faster than they told me they would be and just down right great to work with. Thanks again!
Broke down on the side of I-84 and had our car Kia towed there. John and his son were extremely hospitable while we waited for our ride so that we could continue our visit home for Christmas. They offered my sons donuts and drinks for all of us. In the end the engine was totaled and due to warranty we had the car towed to a Kia Dealer. John was professional throughout and if my car had not been covered by the extended warranty due to a Kia recall then I would have been glad to have Auto Medics fix it. Truly a professional and gracious father and son team to work with. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

"Old school" handshake place of business that explains any issues you may be having with your car. They even showed me the damaged parts so that I knew exactly what they were talking about. Very satisfied with their work, I'd definitely recommend them to anyone that needed an auto mechanic.
New to the area and desperately needed my car worked on. It can feel unsettling to go to a new mechanic you don't know or trust, but John at Auto Medics made the experience WONDERFUL! My car was picked up and dropped off at my house for no additional charge. John was upfront and honest about the work that needed to get done and completed it that day. My car was not only returned as good as new, but also with a vacuumed interior and shined tires! Highly recommend Auto Medics!!
We are here on emergency work installing generators and we had a fuel filter issue. We called many places because it’s a diesel and they got us right in and handled , even went to go get a part we needed . Great work, great price, great human being 🙏
John and Matt were excellent! Not only were they able to quickly find the cause of the issue, they were able to take care of it same day and even picked me up when everything was all set. I was even more impressed that they took additional care to vacuum the carpet and floor mats. John and Matt are great guys to go to if you need your car fixed right and in a timely manner. Definitely going back to them next time!
Friendly, Affordable and Convenient. I had a bad belt that my old shop was not repairing despite multiple expensive visits. The guys at Auto Medics found it immediately and no more issues!
I've know Matt and John for 5 years. They are the best mechanics I know in the state of Connecticut. They care more about fixing your car rather than getting the money. Their prices are very good too as well as being friendly to all their customers. If I could I would give them 10 stars. I highly recommend Auto Medics for all your car needs.
