This is no longer a Pilot. I stopped in for fuel and DEF. Pump 18 would not work. Tried swiping my card at the pump and in the store, either way it didn't work. Switched to 21. Prepaid inside and only the driver's side pump worked, but extremely slow. Took about 45 minutes to pump 25 gallons. They had no DEF. Wasted a huge amount of time to get 25 gallons and still need to stop somewhere else to buy fuel. The cashier said that's the way everything has been working lately. Won't bother going back here again. I definitely don't recommend this location to other drivers.
Good selection of food and its edible but the problem is if trying to eat inside the Restaurant 809 is blasting Spanish music so loud you can't hold a conversation!
I’d give this store a 0 if i could. I went here with my grandmother,my sister and my younger cousin.We’re all hispanic and my little cousin is fairly darker than us, we had all split up and went to the cashier at different timings, a white male at the counter with bright blue/green eyes a beard and a hat rang up my cousin not saying a word and rudely handling my cousins items, then when my sister came up he was slightly politer but still had a look as if he hated his job. Then my grandma rang up as i was not far from her, she had a question about the pricing on a sweater they sold and she tried speaking english as best as she could (i speak fluent English and i understood exactly what she was trying to say) the cashier stood there and stared at her as if she had three heads not even trying to hear her out,i overheard this and got in line to help her and his demeanor quickly changed seeing that she was with someone i said hello and asked him to kindly take the sweater off for her he then tried to speak to me telling me he had went to the college on my shirt and said “you’re not in college tho right”. I then felt awkward but said yes i am and said to have a good day, we had left the store and my sister had still been in there getting ready to pay on line with that same cashier, both the next customer who was also a older white male and the cashier were overheard by my sister having a conversation where the customer made a comment saying he hates hispanics and he hated how my grandma couldn’t speak proper English he also added a comment leaving the store saying “adios amigo” mocking our language and the cashier laughed giving him his upmost attention and respect as a service should as if he went from 0 to 100 with his energy after serving my family. This place condones racism when their own cooks in the back are hispanic, i felt disturbed being that two grown men can be okay speaking about an older lady and a teenager like this. It’s all unprofessional and disgusting and being that my younger sister was right behind them and they still felt comfortable acting this way is concerning. Do better and find this guy he doesn’t deserve to work with people if he can’t treat us all equal.
What amazes me the most is the disregard for helping their customers understabd what they are consuming. For example: coffee, the sweetner chouces "pink sweetner, blue sweetner etc. Why not tell me more then the color? Is it equal? Stevia? What is it? And at this route 95 ct location no one speaks english. I asked one of the ladies what is pink sweetner? What kind is that? She went and filled it LoL
This place is typically dirty. I Have tried to order food And three people behind the counter and no one serves you. They are selective about their practices and very unprofessional and did I mention dirty.
The manager is awfully weird I will never stop here again. Manager was literally undressing me with his eyes right in front of my kids. To the point my daughter noticed. If his wife or kids see this, your dad is a nasty man.
Accused of stealing donuts by the cashier. I was then charged a higher price than advertised by said cashier, which is actually a form of stealing you know.
My experience was nice with the customers in the store, I had good conversations, I also had a friend there as well and he was helping me out with navigation because I typically run south-east and not New England runs. I did purchase 50 gallons of fuel there which is something the manager emailed my company(I’m the owner who happened to be in this truck), and other man’s owner whom I was getting assistance from who is local to the area. I don’t think it’s very professional how the manager approaches their customers. The store was not busy on the fuel Islands and we were not impacting your business there. When we arrived, the fuel islands that were operational were full so we parked on disabled pumps and went into the store to purchase items while the other trucks fueled. When the manager first said something about the islands, I immediately went out to purchase fuel. After I had fueled, I went to get navigation assistance from my friend and the impatience of the manager was very unprofessional. He came back out to stir up trouble with us before we pulled out. I believe it would be best for your business if management would learn to treat people kindly and assess situations before being an inconvenience to them.
My daughter and I both scolded our hands in the bathroom. The water was boiling hot. We both screamed and my 7 year old daughters hands were red and throbbing. I’m beyond angry! There’s no warning signs and apparently we aren’t the first people this has happened to. The owner doesn’t seem to care and hasn’t fixed this.
This is the worst goddamn pilot that I have a been in the pumps are old no DEF the coffee inside well I don’t know what the hell is wrong with that two stars is the best I can do
Nice place,good size showers ,good food and friendly crew. The only complaint i have is the truck parking is pitch black,drivers are a Lil bit too expose to any kind of person with bad intentions! Need lights asap!
Truck drivers, be carefull not to pass the stop sign and make a right on the stop sign to get to the fuel line. If you pass it by chance, there is a piece of pavement right passed the fuel stop make a wide u turn and you will be fine. I spoke with manager and told me that the state wont allow for more signs rathwr than the one posted on one of the colums. The State carelessly won't make a paved part of land to make u-turns safely for truck drivers.
I got food there few times at pastrami John n the food was undercooked or just bad. I been told by the stuff 3 days ago to not leave my truck in fuel island while getting fuel receipt from inside. That truck stop is my last resort. Couple of years ago a stuff was waking drivers up n have them shut off trucks in 90 degrees weather .I'm not going to mention the prices.
Worst pilot o have ever been to. Showers are disgusting. Mold and mildew all over the place . Towels are not even bath towels . More like shop towels . I won't be stopping here again unless its for last resort parking .They wouldn't even refund my shower credit after I complained.
I was surprised at all the negative comments here...I have nothing but good things about my stay at this truck stop...the shower was big,clean and very hot water...the employees were friendly...the one negative was that they could use a good power washing on the fuel island...I will come back here again in the future..
