wow. writing this on behalf of my boyfriend who was stranded on the highway from 2 flat tires. the floyd’s people picked him up with a tow truck (randomly found on Google) and brought him to his shop past their operating hours but still fixed his tires and the whole thing with the towing was only $260……. that’s so affordable, especially considering this fix was past their operating hours. and they were insanely nice. i’m so grateful for floyd’s for getting my boyfriend here safe LOL
Will take your car for two weeks, either claim they fixed it or tell you that they couldn’t fix it, and give it back to you in more or less the same condition. I had a head gasket blown and they ‘couldn’t figure out why my car was over heating’. Took it directly to Subaru and they found the problem in less than 5 minutes.
Excellent service, more than willing to go above and beyond. They helped our business out of a bind despite their busy schedule and we are very grateful. Highly recommend.
If you want your car to be there for three times what they scheduled you and get over charged for throwing parts at it this is the place to go, then if you call for an update they just get mad and rush your vehicle leaving many things loose. would be better off going to pep boys down the road.
Good guys. I've used them several times and each time they got to work on my truck as soon as possible. They performed the troubleshooting and work well. And, their price is very fair as well as much cheaper than the dealership that I had been using. Definitely will be returning.
I didn't have any work done. I took my daughter in to pick up her car. Although, as I said before I had no work done, people there were really friendly. Easy to talk to about almost anything. Friendly, knowledgeable. They seemed like they were happy working. When you like what you're doing, you always are better at it. They are.

This is upsetting because I’ve used the garage for my last 3 cars and never had an issue. I felt like I had a mechanic for life! But I dropped my car off yesterday for a mirror replacement, tires, and 100k service. Nobody calls to give me update. When I call it seems to make them mad. I just wanted an honest, friendly service but I don’t think I can go there anymore. Something about being treated as an inconvenience when I’m about to give them 1/2 my check doesn’t sit well with me. I prefer to support small business but I think I’ll be needing a new one to support.
Fixed an ongoing problem with my son's truck and didn't charge him a ton of money to do it! Thank you for being so kind and professional, it means a lot to know my son has somewhere he can go that won't rip him off. Thank you again! :) he will definitely be back for anything that may come up in the future!
Out of town and stuck with an overheating Expedition and these guys went over and above to get me back on the road quickly. Could have gouged me but the bill was very fair. Could not be happier !
They performed brake work on my trailers surge brakes, and they work fine. also had them put new led's on all the way around.

Our first time using them and my first impression was a very friendly group of guys and I loved the pink toolbox. They are setback off the road so hard to see. Good size building and we are very happy to have our air conditioning working again. I will be bringing my other car to them for the same reason; no A.C

I have used Floyd’s garage numerous times for a project Jeep I am building. Jake and his crew have been spectacular. Very high quality work, extremely knowledgeable and always friendly and willing to give advice. They are an asset to Ledyard.
I was in and out with Jake Sylvia taking care of my vehicle issue. He was pleasant and professional. As well as the office lady ( forgot her name) but was lovely. I will be a regular for them here on out! Thank you all so much for the help , truly in a time of need.

Paid over 5500.00 and they returned my truck with lights and codes.
Never returned calls and ignored my incoming calls.
Asked for a partial refund and they refused.
Had truck fixed properly from a real professional. Runs great.
BEWARE they take on to much work and don't follow thru.

Terrible service, was told by the owner he was backed up so he rushed my truck. I lost a belt because the garage damaged my power steering pulley. And instead of being straight forward about it they reinstalled the damaged one. I went back to the shop with the pump once I got it replaced and tried to talk to the owner about it. He admitted to rushing it and said he fell on hard times and works a day job just to keep the shop going. The owner said he would call me the next day with a plan and it's been 3 days. So I'm assuming he will do nothing to fix the situation.
While visiting the area we needed to have a tire plugged after someone's house key (!) punctured the tread. Found Floyd's Garage on our GPS. We stopped in and had the tire fixed and within fifteen minutes we were on our way. Thanks for the fast and friendly service!
One of our cars wouldn't start today while we were in Ledyard. The young man on call for 24-hour towing answered promptly and was there quickly, no problem at all to tow the car to our mechanic in East Lyme. Really great service, reasonably priced as well. Thanks!
Was visiting Foxwoods from Boston when I noticed something dragging from my car. My car got worse on the day I was returning home. I did a quick Google search and found this place. I called and they told me to come on down. I was seen right away and they fixed up my inner fender well at a very cheap cost. Not 100% repaired but 10x better than it was. If i had stopped somewhere in Boston they would've easily charged me twice as much. Thanks guys!
I cannot imagine a more professional and capable group of automotive mechanics than those from Floyd's Garage in Ledyard, CT near Foxwoods Casino. And they still manage to be very reasonably priced as well. Just down the street from the Ledyard Fairgrounds and just off Colonel Ledyard Drive at 5 Fairway Drive about 8 miles from the casino. Their garage is almost 10,000 sq. ft. on a 2 acre parcel with multiple lifts. They are very patient in explaining every issue about your mechanical problems. Drop off your vehicle before your trip to the casino and your problem will likely be solved the same day. And they are very nice people to boot.
I'm local to them, have taken my cars there a handfull of times, great guys, very fair pricing and great work. In my eyes a perfect shop. Never a problem.
