There just as closing, perfect stranger not a regular customer. Asking for some oddball part. Took the time to look in back for something that might help me... didn't have anything for me but it was the time they took and never felt rushed. They just tried to help. Thanks.

Lock Stock & Barrel is a great local resource. They always have my chicken feed in stock, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. On top of that, their propane prices are very reasonable, which is a huge plus. It’s clear they take pride in their service and products. Reliable, well-stocked, and a great place to support local!

Good retail store, friendly staff. Equipment selection is large. Equipment service can be very slow, especially in the busy summertime. They seem to perpetually be short-staffed in the service department. They picked up my mower in mid-may for a tune-up after mistakenly leaving me off their service list when I called to schedule in mid-march. It has been now been sitting untouched for the last 4 weeks. Was told it would still be 2 to 3 weeks before it was in the shop. Why pick it up if it's not going to go into the shop in short order. I could have at least been using it for the last month instead of watching my grass grow exceptionally long. A few years ago a repair took 3 months over the summer. Many of my neighbors have had the same complaints about the service. I like these guys and want to continue to give them my business, but they've got to figure this out.

Nice place but I thought they carried more of a variety of lawn and garden stuff. Maybe I was misled by the lawn and tractor shop. It's more of a tack shop with some nice Equestrian items

I purchased a Stihl backpack blower here back in 2021. Luckily, I had also purchased the oil (sales rep insisted I buy) which doubled up my warranty with Stihl. I had an engine malfunction of some sort and brought it into the shop. The owner took it in and assured me they would take care of the problem. After some diagnostic it was determined there was an internal failure and it would be covered under the warranty. Nick the rep at the counter was more than helpful with keeping me updated during the process as there were some steps to get the repairs done. These guys provided excellent customer service, and I definitely recommend them.

Instead of going to United Ag to have my John Deere lawn tractor serviced, my friend suggested I take it to Lock, Stock, and Barrel. They correctly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and fixed it in record time. Based on previous experience with United Ag (which does good work as well), i paid half of what UA would have charged. Nick is very customer focused and could not have been easier to work with. Also, Josh is a top flight mechanic. I'd very much recommend them. Great experience!

Great staff and even better selection of pet food and accessories. They even have clothing and power tools . My dog loves to go pick out toys.

Every time I come here Nick goes out of his way to help with our machines and part orders. Literally above and beyond. Always treats us with respect and he is kind and friendly. His mechanic Josh is the same exact way. Also very knowledgeable. I have never been treated better in any other establishment. Nick also always remembers who we are which is great. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place, and I always recommend everyone to come here

A wide selection of dog and cat foods and treats, along with toys. Fun garden decorations and bird feeders of all types. A varied selection of outdoor clothing, and riding gear, along with equine paraphernalia. Plus you can get feed needs met here, along with straw and yard care supplies. If it's a good niche of needs, with a little bit of everything

The cashiers are friendly, but the prices are high. I buy a specialized dog food that costs $92 if no manufacturer coupons are available. There's a savings club we're a part of where you buy a total of 12 bags of food and the 13th bag is free. Still no actual savings. The store is very clean, organized and the employees are friendly, so I guess that's a plus.

They sell top quality items. They also sell parts for all your outdoor equiptment. I love that they also repair the equiptment too. I have had a snow blower repaired about 2 years ago. I dropped it off and they called back the next day that its fixed 😃...really decent prices. FRIENDLY employees. Last year i bought a weber grill.....great grill,good price.

I have seen the billboards for years but don't live close by, however due to being let down by my current hay dealer I had to find a new source for hay. I have a client who had mentioned that she gets her hay from Lock Stock and Barrel. I called the store before heading over and spoke to Sandy who was very pleasant and gave me pricing, I wanted to buy a bale to sample before committing to picking up a truck load. When I arrived I walked around the store just to check out to see what they had and was pleasantly surprised with how clean and organized the store is and lots of smiling faces from the staff. I picked up some horse treats and was helped by Jenna at cashing out. Jenna welcomed me and put my info into the system, she listened to my story on my hay dilemma and assured me of the quality of hay that they carry and consistent availability. I'm happy to say I'm thrilled with the quality and more importantly my horses love it! I'm heading back tomorrow to pick up a truck load. The wonderful customer service and amazing quality hay are totally worth the 45 minute drive. I have to say it's been a long time since I've been in an establishment where I actually feel like my business is appreciated, I feel like most places are lacking this detail these days ! I plan on continuing to use them for my hay source and all my horse supply needs. I just wish I made the trip sooner. Thank you LSB!

Great place if you want expensive bird seed or a chain saw, but God help you if you expect to be treated decently by staff when buying power equipment. The staff are arrogant, rude, and clearly do not have any sort of grasp of what is on the printed material in their own store. Thankfully they now have competition in Milford that is actually friendly, knowledgeable and willing to provide a positive experience for a contractor who needs a lot of equipment.

Great place for people living in a rural area. The store is one part pet supply (including horses) and one part outdoor equipment purchase and repair. The guys in the outdoor equipment area are super knowledgeable and generally awesome. Definitely a great place all around.

This place is AWESOME!!!!! They go out of their way to help you. They were able to special order a food for me that they don't normally carry. They carry the brand, but they don't stock this particular frozen cat food. They ordered some just for my little Buster. And, since I don't have a large freezer, they are holding some that I can pick up when my stock runs out. Also, when I was in the store, all the employees were just wonderful. You can tell that they enjoy what they do and that they enjoy working together.

Awesome selection and awesome service! Lou is the best, he explained every detail of the products I was looking for and I never felt pressured to buy a thing! This man is the go to guy for all power equipment! The place is very clean and organized. The staff is great. I'll be a customer here forever!

I have been a customer for several years and am in the store several times a month. The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable. The quality of their inventory is very good. The store is always clean. I am even happier now that they have recently started carrying Nutrena products. They are always willing to bring in items that customers are looking for. Very knowledgeable staff that was readily available for any questions. They also have everything I needed for chicken care and my yard work. I saw that they also carry amish made items. I purchased a backpack blower from them 2 years ago and they explained the maintenance on it and took time to show me start up and storage. I like the personal touch.

A great place for pet food and supplies. The lawn equipment sales and maintenance is the best around. Always a great selection, and things are always in stock. They do great work sharpening chainsaw and lawnmower blades too. Its nice to support a local small business that still has old fashioned customer service and friendly staff.

I have purchased numerous products from their power equipment department. Their staff is top notch. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I have lived near-by for about 4 months now, and they are my go to for yard supplies.

I recently moved to Bethany and stop in here for bird food and some horse supplies. On occasion, I stop in for some dog food and their selection is top notch.(Only reason I don't buy all my dog food here is because I own a dog business and get my brand wholesale and shipped to me) I read another review of someone complaining about them not carrying Science Diet and to me that proves they know their stuff. Their dog food selection is premium brands and they stick to those and educate their clients on those of lesser quality like the one mentioned. I have always had great customer service and feel welcome when ever I come in.

Great staff they were cheerful. The store has a wide variety of pet foods, and even offer free samples for you to take home so you can figure out which ones your animals like or dislike. My cat is a picky eater so this was very helpful, will definitely return.

Love this tack/feed/equipment - EVERYTHING store! They stock all the high end rare grains I’ve always had to special order online or in another store, and cater to all my Disciplines! I was able to easily find a large 3 3/8” loose ring with a Sweet Iron 5” snaffle for continuing to start my 2yr old stallion... he’s going to love it! They also stock several colors of the rubber flexible bit guards! Which should always be used on any bit that has the possibility of pinching!!!

I love this store. They have everything you can possibly imagine and it's all quality merchandise. Mary is a sweetheart. I had major neck surgery and she always brought those heavy bags of bird food out to my car and loaded it for me. A very courteous friendly and helpful staff that will help you with anything. FIVE STARS and I'm a customer for life.
