We had a great 1st time experience with Belltown Motors. It began with the tow.. the driver arrived within 20 minutes and was friendly. The next morning I called to follow up and spoke with Kayla...she explained that they were busy but would try to look at our car (failed brake line). 2 hours later she called back and said they would be able to fix it that day. What a surprise! We were expecting to be without the car for several days but we picked it up that afternoon. The cost was less than expected- how often can you say that on a car repair? Thanks, highly recommend.

This was the second time I went here and the service was fantastic. From speaking with the service department (Kayla, I believe) to the gentleman at the front desk, to the guy that took off my plates. Professional and pleasant. I was comfortable going in there alone (some auto places you get a feeling like a dollar sign just walked in) and it just has a hometown vibe. The gentleman at the desk was very kind and patient, answering all my questions. Even the phone call letting us know it would be best to junk the car was done in a kind manner. I highly recommend. Thank you all so much.

If I was able to give 0 stars, I would. I won’t go into details about what happened, but the unprofessionalism and lack of communication is absurd. When I asked for a meeting with the owner, to explain the multiple issues I had, he simply could not handle constructive criticism, stood and spoke over me, and was rude to the point where I was bawling when I left. The younger owner (his son) called me to apologize for his father’s extremely unprofessional behavior. I highly recommend to go elsewhere for your auto needs, especially if you’re a woman.

Great people, professional, and also work on Subarus. For all Subaru owners, I'd recommend them for work.

A driver through this company was dispatched through triple a. We made a mistake and called under my moms regular membership while my wife and I are premiere members. The driver called and told us he would have to have us pay out of pocket, as we were basic members. We called to switch it to my account, and the driver called angry asking why the call was canceled. We explained the situation, and again when he showed up he got angry and aggressive, asking why we were causing trouble and ultimately telling us we were making his job hard. Our car is totaled, and a representative from this company is hassling us about changing to my policy? This is a terrible company!!!! We have already informed triple A on the matter, truly you should feel ashamed to employ such heartless people!!

Recently lost the transmission in my truck, Tom Branciforte was the best service advisor, and Dave the mechanic did an awesome job removing, installing, and programing the new transmission. Truck is driving and shifting perfectly again! Belltown gets you back on the road in record time, and flawless workmanship! Thank you Belltown Motors!

Special thanks to the amazing team at BellTown in East Hampton, CT. Had a flat tire last Tuesday. I’m from out of State. Called AAA and they sent a BellTown truck within minutes to my location. Technician quickly assessed the situation. Upon arriving at the East Hampton branch, the associate behind the counter listened and calmly assured me that the tire will be fixed. I live 3 hours away and needed to get home the same day. In less than an hour I was back on the road. You guys rock! Thank you for your kindness and professionalism.

Great service! Good prices on tires, much cheaper than a dealership. Provided an upfront cost for tires, labor, and disposal. I’ll likely take my Subaru there for regular maintenance.

Requested a tow through AAA for a fuel line burst when I drove my truck for the first time in a month. Belltown and driver were dispatched. Operator put vehicle in drive and broke gear shifter off the column and driver told me and took ownership but failed to document it on his end. Reported to AAA and Belltown motors denied breaking the shifter. Would not recommend.

Belltown motors picked up the AAA call for my tow. I can’t say enough how they went above and beyond to help this girl out with a broken down vehicle. They didn’t have to but after feeling super frustrated with AAA, they made sure I wasn’t left behind. ??????

This place rocks, got to me faster and more efficiently than most others would have! Even after a holiday weekend! Allen was super professional and showed up on time if not faster than promised! These dudes make AAA look good!

As an insurance adjuster calling a tow yard usually is not fun, however when I called her and spoke with Cindy I was blown away! She was so amazing, nice and patient. What a gem ? you all have with her!

I bought a $2500 car from a East Windsor dealership. Less than 24 hours after purchase the timing belt broke and ruined the whole engine. Dealership was dragging their feet on their offer to fix it. I towed it to Belltown. They gave me a quote, I decided to eliminate the dealership and pay out of pocket. Belltown did a tremendous job! The got me a great price on replacement engine, they put in new thermostat and water pump, housings, replaced various rusted out parts without a price increase. The car runs like brand new. Brought car in for AC charge and alignment, I couldn't get over how much cheaper Belltown was over Pep Boys. Better service and better prices. , Thanks Belltown!

Well, I thought I would finish my experience with these clowns after they left me hanging for hours, waiting for a different tow truck when they then told me they WOULDN'T bring my car to my favorite repair shop Axlerod Tire, which is a 7 minute ride from their location???? They also refused to work on my car, when I told them all I wanted them to do was replace the starter, which was the obvious cause of my problems. Safe to say when I called them to give me another tow, the car mysteriously started when they arrived. So I told them to forget about it and I drove it to Axelrod Tire, where was promptly repaired. I have never heard of a company that was so unwilling to give me a tow to my garage and refused to do work on my car when I would have let them. These 2 operations are minutes from one another. I would suggest if you need any automotive care that you go to Axelrod Tire and ask for John. I just hope you don't need to get towed there.....LOL

They installed an AC compressor in my van, which turned out to be defective from the supplier. Their support in getting the part replaced and keeping me updated was phenomenal. For a situation neither of us wanted to be in, they took a lot of the pain out of the process, and I'm very grateful for that.

Can’t thank Belltown motors enough. My clutch went out and were able to tow it within 1hour. Once they diagnosed it was the clutch they had it repaired within a week. Tom in service was great to work with. Thanks Belltown motors.

Towed our car for us because it was completely dead, but destroyed our yard in the process. First tow truck got stuck and had to be pulled out by another one of their tow trucks, and then they proceeded to circle half of the yard to get out. Company is refusing to take any responsibility for the damage, leaving us out a couple thousand dollars which may have to be recouped through small claims court. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Belltown Auto is the best! They have been taking care of my car needs for years now..I’ve dealt with other shady auto places in the past and have had bad luck..Belltown Auto staff is amazing! They are very honest, helpful and reasonable. I never have to worry about them trying to make an extra buck. They all work with integrity and that’s hard to find!! Thank you Belltown ?❤️

After a particularly terrible day I had a tire blow in the middle of the woods on my way home from work. AAA told me it would be nearly 2 hours before someone would be able to get to me. Belltown motors towing had someone out to me in about 30 mins. I had the pleasure of meeting Nick who not only made me feel comfortable but kept me laughing when I needed it most. It takes a special person to make a blown tire a positive experience. He deserves far more then a five star review for his compassion and sense of humor.

My experience with them was really great. I had a blown out tire on the highway and the tow truck driver was there to help me out with in 30 minutes. Unfortunately they didn't have the right size tire for me, but they took the time to check, the 2 different people I spoke with on the phone were really knowledgeable and courteous. If you get in a jam and need a tow and you are in there eastern part of the state I recommend calling them. ?

I brought my car in for just an oil change. They supposedly found a nail in my tire and, without asking, charged me for patching the tire. The fee was excessive. 30 minutes after leaving, the low air pressure light came on (for the first time). They actually damaged a good tire to pad the bill. Belltown Motors is a dishonest company with unpleasant workers.

Buyer beware. I dropped off vehicle to get 2 tires replaced, but wanted someone to call me before they did it. No one called and they went ahead and replaced 2 front tires, saying they were both bald, which of course was not true. Only one tire was really bad. Also "out the door" price that was quoted to me was not the price they put on the invoice. I will not be going here in the future and will tell everyone I know to avoid them.

I bought a car from this dealer 4 years ago. I have recently sold this car. Throughout this entire 4 year process of having the car, they NEVER produced a title to me. When I bought it from them, they claimed they had the title and would send it directly to the lien holder. Guess what, they never did. I had an ongoing issue with it for the entire time of having this car, and it was nothing but a headache to myself and the lien holder of the car. I even tried to send in an application for a duplicate title myself eventually because I was tired of them not doing anything, but the DMV denied my application and told me they were the only ones who could apply for a duplicate. Now, not surprisingly, the company I sold my car to is having issues with getting the title to this car. Please do not waste your time here. They will not help you if there is an issue. And even worse, they really did seem like a good dealership. However, they are the most unprofessional dealership I have ever experienced, which I had to learn the hard way. This is something I am still dealing with to this day. They should feel lucky legal action wasn't taken against them up until this point. I can't say that it won't happen in the future though.

Tim and team went the extra mile to help me out. Ultimately, my old car was serviced to resolve exhaust and replace old tires. They accommodated my needs with reviewing the car for other issues before fixing the apparent needs. I felt like I understood my options and gave me comfort I was making the right decision to meet my needs. Thank you very much Belltown Tire and Service! You've made me a regular client by winning me over with your thoughtfulness!

Everyone there is so helpful. I have had repairs done from accidents, body work, tires put on, regular maintenance and emissions on all of my vehicles from domestic to foreign makes. Tim has always been helpful and guiding when it comes to estimation of service time to finding the best tires and deals. We're lucky to have such a dynamic family owned business in town serving the community!

Made an appointment to take my snow tires off and for an oil change over the phone, came in for my appointment said yet again I am here for an oil change and tire change. When I came to pick up my car they only did a tire change. Wasn't even apologetic, told me I never said oil change. He couldn't even talk to me without continuing to do other things. Go to Bills Auto in Portland, CT. Save your time. Or make sure you repeat yourself a thousand times.
