Worst customer service experience of my life. Karl was amazing and a pleasure to work with, but the other employees are some of the most rude and disrespectful individuals I've ever encountered. I'm sure they'll respond to this and somehow try to spin it in their favor about me being the "rude" one by daring to want to negotiate the price for a used part taken from a salvaged/totaled car that was also listed on eBAY with the "Make Offer" option available. Crazy concept, I know. Hopefully, the part will hold up. But their lack of business savy and basic manners means they won't have my repeat business, and I advise you avoid as well.
Absolutely excellent experience with this business and everyone working there they truly deserve the best possible review I can offer 100 stars if I could absolutely took care of me in every aspect of the sale and got me loaded up and on my way back home very quickly and I am so happy with the used parts that are in excellent condition thank you again

I called just for pricing. I understand they have 2 DIFFERENT PIECES. CAN I GET THE PRICE !? Idk if its because the workers dont want to do there job or is just lazy. But the fact that the guy said he cant help me with a price and they said they have 2 different kind of pieces IS CRAZYYYY.

The staff in the Parts Department -- most especially, George -- are professional, patient and knowledgeable, They were always available to take my many calls and made the process of getting doors for my grandson's car, including transporting them to a body shop in a neighboring state, absolutely stress-free. I highly recommend Terryville Auto Parts.

Went there this morning to buy.Four tires bought the tires to sale men was very good
I also need a lot of nut wrench. They said they didn't have for a camry. They said they had none in stock. I then asked if Corolla and the Camry were the same size. He didn't know I said. Can you ask the Fuller? Somebody jumped into the conversation from far away. Instead, you can't talk to the puller. I said well can you ask He the Got?"
Very argumentative with me. I said, "Excuse me, I wasn't talking to you." Anyway, I said, is there a manager here? Who lets people talk to people like this? No one responded, so I exist. So I asked the salesman. Can you please put the manager's name on here and phone number? So I can contact him about this customer service. The manager
Then jump up, and this is what's the problem? He says, "Well, you're yelling in my store." What's the problem? I said I'm not yelling. I'm talking to a guy far away from me. I have to raise my voice. I said, but you let people talk to people like this in your store. If you took my money as I'm talking. Several people came around and surrounded me and made me feel nervous. Then one guy started approaching me and said, Please leave the store as I'm leaving the store." He started getting my face getting very augmentative. If you don't believe me, go there and see how nice and friendly they are. After I left out the store they follow me which is a long distance to my car Screaming Vogue racist comments FYI, the tires were good, but the attitudes need adjustment from top to bottom.I guess you can get away with that.When you're the only junkyard around in the town

Bought a $5000 used engine for one of my Pro master trucks and barely got 9 months and 3000 miles out of it before it went bad as well. Nothing they can do either. Awesome. . Extremely disappointed.
Response to their reply: engine was installed within 2 weeks of purchase. Truck was back on the road Feb 2024. Engine Failed Nov 2024, per my email. I understand its out of warranty by 4 months. The takeaway is that if you feel you're ethical by selling 3000 miles engines for 5K then that's a problem. Other consumers should be aware.
I called in for a low mileage front differential for my ‘14 suburban. 11/18/24 I receive a call back saying they had one with 79k on the shelf. I said great they took my information. I said I will be there Thursday morning because of my work schedule. The gentleman said no problem it’s here with your name on it in the system. I arrive 11/21/24 after driving over 1 hr 45 min and guess what. Not only was my information not in their system but they couldn’t locate the part. Tried selling me another unit with 150k miles on it. Beware reputable yards physically check if the part is on hand before telling the customer to come down and pick it up. What a waste of time and gas. Do better.
I purchased some doors online by following the purchasing instructions, entered my card information and it accepted the purchase without confirmation or shipping details. Received a call the next day that the order was for pickup only and shipping was not available. I was told I did the purchase wrong, and it was my fault, and I should have called before making the purchase. I was told I would be refunded but paypal was going to charge Terryville 3.5% for using its services, since they used the service and did not make a sale, they took the 3.5% from my return. Thats stealing. I have a dispute and fraud with my bank for Terryville taking my money to pay there paypal fee. Kyle the sales rep is the one who did this. Don't buy from them. He told me to go figure it out on my own and talk with paypal to get my money back and he is over my call and hung up on me. This place stole from me.
Helped me to get a hitch on my truck in a pinch. Called 5 mins before closing, was quickly assisted in finding the part and ordering it. Order was ready for pickup upon opening the following morning. I’m very glad my weeks worth of troubles in finding it brand new led me here.

High quality products, service, and pricing! Very happy! I think it would be beneficial to send people a video of you taking the part off of the car to help them figure out how to get it on. Some of the youtube videos are not the exact year of your car and the changes in design make it difficult tl figure out but we got it eventually. The product works great and very satisfied
There are lots of used parts stores between New Britain and Terryville, but I drive out to Terryville if I need good used parts at a decent price.
I've been going here for decades... Back when everyone still had land lines and phone books and these guys would advertise in the New Britain Yellow Pages.
I used to call several of these places and get a price and availability, but in the end, would end up riding out to Terryville. The parts were better quality and at a considerably cheaper price.

Left work early and drove 3 hours to get a color match fender for my truck, show up and it’s the wrong one even after I had asked several times they were sure that it was correct before I made the drive. No one there knew what was going on. Told me it would take a week to get the one I asked for and had pictures of and a stock number for. Absolutely ridiculous. Wasted 6 hours of my time driving. Now I have to go back in a week take more time off work. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend!
Had been looking for a replacement door for a while. I worked with Mike, who checked regularly for me and was always very responsive. We were finally able to track one down and it was in better condition than I could have hoped. These guys display professionalism and are great to work with! I highly recommend them.

Bought a used 2013 BMW 528i xdrive engine from Matrix Auto Supply i Dallas Texas. The engine was supplied through (Terryville auto parts), There is settled class action law suit with BMW for defective engine for that model, the suit was settled. Request the VIN# for the used engine that Terryville auto parts me, the refuse to give the number, that now delay my claim for reimbursement with BMW, the cost of the was $4,250, plus $2,500 for installation and transportation from New Mexico to Florida where I live. The manager name CONNER refuse to give me my VIN# number for my engine, so I can't receive my nearly $8,000 dollars I spent. SHAME SHAME on Terryville, they not looking out the regular joe. Anyone who knows the owner or owners, please encourage them to contact me ..thank you.

I needed a rear axle assembly for my daughters Jeep. There were none available locally so I spoke to Connor . He said he had few to choose from. I drove160 miles to get there and I'm 100 percent satisfied.

I purchase a used front axle for my 2001 Jeep Wrangler from Terryville Auto Parts, the purchase and delivery of the part was smooth and quick. I had the axle shipped from CT to Northern NJ and it only took a couple days to reach my mechanic. A few weeks after having to axle installed, I noticed a noise, which I found out was a failing U-Joint. Upon hearing this from my mechanic I contacted Terryville Auto Parts about coverage from their warranty. After their representative spoke with my mechanic and saw photos of the U-Joint they agreed to cover the costs of all parts that needed to be replaced. I was promptly refunded through PayPal for the cost of the Parts. Excellent customer service, with very pleasant people! Would certainly recommend to anyone, thanks again!

Needed a starter for my Jeep. Had it ready when I arrived. Upon installation, I accidentally snapped off a wire going to the solenoid. Unrepairable. Thinking I had to pay for another starter since it was my fault, Connor told me there was NO charge. I was pleasantly surprised. I purchased a rear BMW rim from Terryville Auto Parts on Ebay. I placed the order on Wednesday morning and the delivery date given to me was the following Monday. I was amazed when I got home from work Thursday night and the rim was sitting there. That's what I call quick service. The rim was very well packaged, with care. I had a few questions before placing the order and called them. They were very professional on the phone and had the answers. The rim looks good and their rating of B condition is spot on. I have already recommended them to my local BMW mechanic. Hoping to get the rim installed soon and will update if any issues. DO not hesitate to do business with Terryville.

I have had some bad experience with salvage yards in the past, so I was hesitant to buy a full set of power leather seats from one 800 miles away from me. I dealt with Matt. He was fantastic. He patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I pulled the trigger and bought the seats. They arrived when he said the would and in better condition than I expected. Their price, including shipping was better than two local you-pull-it type yards. Definitely the first place I will go for any car parts in the future.
