Came in here looking for windshield wipers. Staff is friendly and helpful. I thought I remembered how to remove the wipers and memory failed. Thank you for helping me to remove them and add tbe new guys and explaining what the small pieces were for!
They have usually been decent to me however i recently ordered a part and it took almost a week to arrive after them being unsure as to if it even would arrive fron their sister store due to horrible staff at that said store. I returned my core and went to install the part. It was an electrical conponent and was VERY rusty. All they could do was return my money or i could go through the same hassle and maybe get a good part in a few more days.

Every time I do an online order for pickup it says "In stock. Pick up in one hour". It's never in stock and you always have to wait until the next day. They track parts with a computer system. Is it really that hard to sync with your website?
Our car battery was totally out of juice when we were packed and ready to leave the campsite. Luckily we drove friend’s car to O’Reilly and got assistance from experience staff members. He suggested the helpful tool for us to replace the battery. Finally, problems solved and our family was able to head back to our sweet home. Thank you, O’Reilly.
I’ve had it with this company and their disgraceful aftermarket part quality. gates radiator hose part number 22433 was incorrectly molded end, cut too short. Water outlet nipple for upper radiator hose which sits on top of water pump was purchased brand new and had corrosion starting on finish. what the heck is going on with aftermarket parts quality control don’t these companies do any of their own housekeeping to ensure quality?
pathetic excuse for an auto parts organization
My car battery was dead and I needed a new one asap. I needed a special one for my Toyota Prius and looked at various stores. O'Reilly's website had it and had the cheapest price that I could find. I found a coupon for a discount but the discount only worked if I had it shipped to my house. You do have the option to ship to store and pick it up as well, but the coupon wouldn't work in this case.
I was able to drop off my old battery at the store for $5 back and free disposal, win-win in my book. Just bring the battery and your receipt to the cashier. The customer service was great both online and in person. This particular store was not busy and it was very clean/organized. If you can't find a product, definitely check their website. Overall, will be using them for most of my auto parts needs; especially if there is a coupon!
Service was excellent. They helped me diagnose what was wrong with my car and replace my headlight. Staff was efficient, friendly, professional and went out of their way to help me and make sure I was taken care of and all set before I left. I very much appreciate the assistance they offered me
Purchased wipers for X3, service person ( very friendly) found correct wipers and installed them ( a little difficult on X3, hidden under hood). Bosch wipers not cheap
Asked for help purchasing wipers was told what isle to go to. Never did this before I had no clue. Then I asked if he could put them on for me,he hesitated then decided he would take 5 minutes out of his time. I thank you for it..
I haven't updated this review in some time, but O'Reilly's continues to deliver in terms of supplies, staff and knowledge for consumers. Anything they don't have in store they'll call in to their warehouse and have it for you pretty much the next day. They've given me some worthwhile advice over the years whether it was for my lawn tractor, general car needs or engine light issues. They'll be happy to go out to your car and plug in their code scanner to see if anything flags. My companion has been having an issue simply finding the correct lugs and bolts for his European car which is why my viewers are seeing three car reviews in a row.
The chat rooms for fellow owners all say a certain size will work, and O'Reilly's and another nearby place both did a good job getting them for him, but he still thinks they have to be the actual models parts which are hard to purchase. For less precise needs, O'Reilly's and other reliable auto service stores all provide consistent solutions.

In general always have a good experience shopping here as I always find what I need quickly. But on a recent visit to replace a headlamp light on my Tacoma I was really impressed with service. I knew that replacing this driver side bulb wasn’t going to be easy but Jeremy who helped me find the part actually came out and basically installed it for me. Many thanks!

These people rock! My engine started smoking just down the road from this auto parts store. After lifting the hood I noticed the oil fill cap was gone. I called them from the road and was told they had the part in stock. I walked to their location only to find the kindest people ever! After paying for my purchase the lady behind the counter said that she would give me a ride back to my car and make sure the cap fit correctly! She did just that and even checked my oil to make sure I didn't lose much. That is what I call going above and beyond. I will recommend this store to anyone who will listen all day long! If you are in the area of Barkhamsted and need any auto parts please check them out. You won't be disappointed.
Helpful with decent price auto parts. Good amount of things in stock or quick order. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. I use them sometimes when the aftermarket price if a part doesn't compromise the quality or effectiveness.?
Got there greeted as soon as I walked in needed wipers they had to order one and one for the back of my car was not listed in computer but they had it and they installed them for me thankfully. Because the front ones needed adapters to go on he let me get one of the wipers on to hear it click into place felt good that I could do it .such a nice friendly place .
I needed a new battery for my Honda CRV stopped in and the salesman was very helpful and even installed my battery for me for free. Thank you O'Reilly Auto parts you made my day. :-)
Today my motorcycle randomly stalled so I pushed it to O'Reilly and asked for a jump start since my battery was dead. I ended up needing 3 jumps because my kick stand safety switch was not plugged in fully. Once I figured it out they gave me another jump start so I could ride home. I was amazed they were so patient and willing to help. I will be sure to give them my business in the future. Thanks guys!
I stopped by to ask about brake parts for my KIA Soul. The person at the counter greated me and was interested in my questions. He was able to assist me and offered to print out and estimate which was helpful. I am returning today to pick up my parts including the parking brake shoes and hardware not offered at other parts stores.
They don't know how to order the right parts two times I ordered front passenger axle and the first time it didn't come the second time it was rear driver side very unhappy experience
