If I could give an even lower review I would. Set up a day in advance to have 2 cars picked up for the junkyard. Called first thing I. The mirning to get a window of time for them to come. I was told by Billy that it would be by 5 pm. Waited ALL DAY. Called at 4:40. Was put on hold for 13 minutes so now we’re at 4:53. Was told their truck broke down at 4 and yet no one called to let us know that no one was coming. Terrible customer service.

I have to say, this place really came through for me—especially Will! He got me the motor I needed quickly and delivered it right on time. No other place could match their price or turnaround time. From now on, I’m a loyal customer. Big thanks to Will and to the owners for hiring such a great salesperson!

Purchased a used bumper from them off of eBay. The bumper needed to be removed from the donor car. The bumper came with several broken tabs indicating incorrect removal. It was literally ripped off of the donor car. The bumper required plastic welding to repair the broken tabs. They did not respond to my message through eBay. Unless the item is already off of the vehicle and pictures are provided, I highly recommend you use another vendor.

You can sell your old car to Chuck and Eddie's. Be sure to have the original title to the car which you sign over to this company and they hand you a check. Ask about the amount when you call them. The driver was very nice (while my husband brought the original title, I had a copy of it but that does not work). My brakes had locked and Goodwill in Torrington kindly let me park the car overnight in their parking lot (with a notice to the police what was happening just in case). They use a hooking device to grab your old car and pull it onto the lift. Pretty amazing and scary at the same time.

I have 0 complaints I just started working on cars and recently got into an accident. Nothing major just needed a new hood and bumper. They had the car model I needed and in the right color in the yard, so I pulled off the part, and they gave me a very fair price plus a discount. Some people who go into the yard tend to leave the parts they pull out lying around or in bad shape when they pull it off with no intention of buying it, but other than that, it is a great experience.

This has got to be the most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with. I bought a 1,357 usd part from them on 10/23, they said it was gonna be delivered to me next day; on the 25th (Friday) it hadn’t been delivered yet, I call and they tell me the part hasn’t even been taken down, that they are gonna take it down Saturday and they would deliver it on Monday. Monday afternoon, after not hearing a word from them, I call, they tell me they tried and deliver it ridiculously early and since the garage was closed, they took it back. I’ve spent Tuesday (29) and Wednesday (30) on the phone with them trying to get that, they keep re-directing my call, putting me on hold, hanging up on me, giving me a bunch nonsense excuses. And one week after I bought it, I’m still here, waiting on that, loosing money mercilessly because of their unprofessionalism, lies and ineptitude. And this guy still yells at me on the phone and blames it on me for not being in the garage when they tried and deliver it without any previous notice; when I’ve been on the phone one whole week trying to solve the problem. I ask them to keep it in the store so I can pick it up tomorrow and they cannot even agree to it! WTH is wrong with you, people?

Wonderful experience Axel took the time to understand what I needed for my vehicle and took the time to find me the best possible parts he goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your vehicle and your satisfied. Chuck and Eddies I will definitely be back for my car part needs.

I would like to thank the owner and the nice lady who reviewed the situation and called me to fix everything I appreciate you for taking time out to help me Called company to pick up a vehicle and on the day of pick up i missed the pickup call from the driver yes my fault Made a new appointment for pickup no call no show i made a new appointment again and was told the drivers called and have been to my place of business I haven’t received a call and nobody has shown up Today i call the office to get an ETA and was told drivers have been to my place of business 6 times so i tell the manager or customer service person that I work here n nobody has come to pickup the vehicle i got a very bad attitude and the gentleman hung up in a fit of rage very unpleasant customer service

Took 10 attempts to pay for my used engine with the same card. There payment system is terrible, then they blamed be for the week delay. Don’t use there automated payment system online. Customer service is terrible.

Have most parts u can need call before you go good prices

I used to love this place. Still would if things didn't unfold the way they did. Needed a specific motor for a 99 civic ex. First one came, my mechanic had it all ready to go and realized it wasn't the right motor. It was then swapped with the same wrong motor. After that they said they had the right one but had to take it out of a car. That motor ended up being blown. I called to complain hoping to get some compensation. After not getting a call returned a few times I gave up. Then about a year later I realized I was never reimbursed for the price of the motor even. At least 5 years later now and never reimbursed but probably more aggravated that I can't/won't use what used to be my favorite auto salvage. Good grief.

I order a transmission from Chuck and Eddies and bought the warranty, the first one was bad and they sent me another transmission. They broke the internal wiring harness on the second and shipped it anyways. The shop didn't have a mechanic at the time the replacement arrived. Once the shop got one they noticed before taking it off the pallet that the internal wiring harness was broken. The warranty was out and I explained how the transmission wasn't even off the pallet. Will said they were trying to work with me, not calling back is not working with people, sorry! I have called and talked to Will a few of times and left several messages, the last time on 02/08/2024, he told me he was waiting on his supervisor. How long does it take to get a 60$-90$ part approved? I just wanted the part replaced and now I am out 1200$. I am really disappointed and won't be recommending them to anyone again. Crooked!

My experience with Chuck and Eddie’s was nothing short of frustrating. I paid for a part on Monday through their Southington location, with the promise that it would be ready for pickup at their Hartford location by Wednesday. Wednesday comes around, and I call Hartford to confirm the part is ready, only to be told they don’t have it and that I need to contact Southington. After spending the entire day being passed around on the phone, I finally spoke to Jimmy, the salesperson, who assured me the part would arrive soon probably in about 30 mins. I made the 30-min drive to Southington, only to find out the part wasn’t there. On Thursday, I was informed that the part had finally arrived, so I requested it be sent to Hartford. Friday rolls around, and after confirming with Hartford that the part was indeed there, I arranged to pick it up after work. Upon arrival, I was told they didn’t have it. Southington insisted it was in Hartford, but Hartford later revealed they had sold the part I paid for to someone else within the 2.5 hours since my call. This entire experience was a masterclass in unprofessionalism and disorganization. Chuck and Eddie’s wasted my time &energy, all while failing to deliver on their promises. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone.

Good price but do little better wen they remove parts so many broken parts

Don’t call them so unprofessional and unreliable Called chuck and eddies to have them pick up my car they gave me a time frame between 8 and 2 waited around all day and even called them multiple times to make sure they were coming couldn’t get an actual time frame was just told he would call a half hour before and he never showed up glad they didn’t tho because found another company that would pay me more and gave me a much more reliable feel.

This is the place for you If you like to lay in the dirt with broken glass mixed in and random bolts digging into you back! There's a good selection of cars to pull parts yourself. Most of which is seized by rust, which is to be expected in CT, so bring WD-40 or PB blaster. Staff do the best they can to deal with the crazy people.

stay away and get your parts elsewhere. purchased a used transmission and it came cracked after asking about any damages several times before purchase. this company does not honor returns or their warranty. 0% customer service. i have sent serval emails to get a refund/ replacement with no response. left several voicemails with general manager with no call back. also spoke to sales reps. that send me instantly to voicemail. they will only take your call to order the part, after its purchased they want nothing to do with you. this place does not take any pride in operating a good business. wish i paid attention to reviews before wasting my money with them.

Unprofessional, part was put under my name they went and sold it and told me since there wasn’t a payment made over the phone it was on the shelf and since someone came in the same hour I called to let them know I was on the way to get it because they never called to tell me it was pulled off the car either I had to make the call a day later than what they told me they would call me they went and sold it when a payment wasn’t requested over the phone and I told whoever helped me I’d be paying when I get there and when it was taken off the car and they said okay and assured I’d call a call and I would be fine to pay when picking up.

I come often with my dad we like to look thru older cars and look for cool car Manuel's the owners are respectful and the place is easy to get around

Called to have my junk car sold and hauled away on a Friday. I was told it would be picked up for Monday between 8am-12. I called around 10:30 to make sure I was still on schedule because I never got a confirmation call or message. I was told that driver would be here soon. Called again around 1-130pm because I was loosing work hours & was told they don’t give ETA. Was told by the employee that my area was just general pick up between 8am-5pm. She was going to contact my driver and call me back with a general ETA. I received no call back. I again waited till around 4:00pm and called since they were closing in an hour asking if they were still coming. She said yes the driver was still coming for sure but due to my address I was the last scheduled stop. It’s now just about 9:30pm and no one ever showed up. Super frustrating to loose out on my whole day waiting around.

Love this place cuz there are so many cars. It's like $2 to get in and bring your own tools because you take the parts of the cars yourselves and that reflects in the price. I always come here and definitely recommend it.

They were great! Wheelzy(a junk car buying website) agreed to buy my car n Chuck n Eddie's handled the towing of my car to their junkyard n they were excellent. Picked it up when they said they would, had my check in hand, wished me well n was on his way.Check was already in the envelope sealed for me, so no haggling over the price. We agreed upon a price over the phone so he was all ready to go...Easiest $415 I ever made...Thanks to Wheelzy n Chuck n Eddie's, Inc.

Great junkyard with a wide selection where you can find and strip the parts yourselves, or have them pulling it yourselves

Helpful staff but online says they close at 5 Monday through Friday but when I arrived at 4:10 today there was a sign on the door saying they close at 4. There were 20+ people inside trying to get in. I hope they update their hours soon.

I applied a mirror for my car on Thursday. I said they would come on Friday. never came up on Monday. I reported that instalarian neither isieron. and I asked them the mirror black and I get Gray. I requested return my money and I said I would charge for refund. this never I said. lack of communication employees. the manager (ryan adams) no customer support not aware of evil service. is my first you see in and the last.

STAY AWAY!!! They never showed up even though i was scheduled!!! They never gave a courtesy call either. When I called 3 hours passed my scheduled slot (8am-noon) they told me I was out of their jurisdiction. That was a lie because i had a third party reference number showing who, what, when and where. I decided to call back and this time was told i was on the schedule still but they were unable to say when. I lost work hours because of this! This company is not worth the hassle therefore I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! In most cases when you no call, no show it's grounds for termination but I'm just the lonely customer so screw me right?!?
