I needed a new battery, but due to the location, they couldn't put it in for me. I had called the night before I went & they said if they couldn't change it out they would jump start my car again for me. When I went in the next morning they were very happy to take a look. I could tell he genuinely wanted to be able to help me, but couldn't. He made some suggestions, explained the warranty of the batteries & was patient while I called to find someone that could install the battery that day. I did buy a battery there & do to the extremely helpful nature of both people I spoke to, I will definitely go back again. FYI - did you know that providing a vin number for your vehicle is the best way to shop for parts for your vehicle?

I had a great experience with this AutoZone. It was pouring out and I asked if I could have my battery, alternator, and starter checked. Bianca immediately said she could assist. Mind you it’s around 8:30pm and they close at 9. She didn’t even have an umbrella, hood, or anything to protect herself from the rain. Amazing customer service. Someone get this girl a raise! She was very kind and did this all with a smile on her face.
Store 5973 you are the best!!! We had a truck with a dead battery and I called to see if there is a chance to bring a fresh one to place where the truck is at, and Heather said YES, we can do it. This Sunday spacial hat trick from her was vey helpful. Thank you AutoZone, Thank you Heather.

Die to brain damage I can not remember names that well, but the two people one younger girl and her tall manager were so nice and helpful I can't say enough good things about my experience last night. The AutoZone on Meriden Waterbury road in Southington is the best place to go for auto help.
Literally such crap service at this autozone. Asked for help with what type of drain plug for my car and they were like “I don’t know which size” bro you have a computer right there that can tell you what drain plug fits my car. Lazy as hell. Find a different job if you don’t want to help people that ask nicely
I just called for the price on front rotors for my car Kevin answered the phone and was very helpful he gave me my price and told me where they were in stock and then asked if I needed Pads as well. I'm a former store manager for autozone and I was very impressed with his phone etiquette answering the phone quickly and getting me the information I asked for as well as asking if I needed other parts to do my repair properly and then telling me where I can pick up my parts. I just want to give Kevin this shout out keep up the good work!!!
Poor customer service and a negative attitude. I stopped by on December 10th to buy spark plugs and didn't have a pleasant experience. I went to Meriden Auto zone and got really good advice.
Oh what a joke! Broke my clipper on my Mercedes put the wrong wipers i didn’t receive any call as they say they will fix the problem. I needed to spend almost 200$ and lost 30$ on tip for worker. Worst experience ever. I was lucky that I had a clipper on my warranty otherwise I would need to pay around 500$
They broke my clipper they put the wrong wipers. lost 250$ + 80$. Needed to go to dealer and fix the thing what they broke it. recommend this business at all. Poor costumer service.
This place is a joke. Went there to change my Mercedes Benz wipers. The guy put wrong wipers and break the clipper from wipers part.I need to go to the dealer buy the new wipers and get the part what he broke. The guy took the screwdriver and just push the parts and it broke … who do that…. I give him a tip on Venmo 30$ , he give me a wrong wipers !!! And broke the parts !!! When I pointed to him he broke it he said it’s ok. I can’t believe that they are treating clients like that. I spend 70$ for breaking a part and wrong wipers …
The parts manager, Abigail, is a great employee. She was so helpful and had very good knowledge about all the different kinds of auto stuff. She was very kind and patient and seems to enjoy working there and helping others.
This store is very convenient because it is close to home. It's always had what I am looking for. I recently thought I needed a new blower motor for my car purchased it . Come to find out I did not need one the return was smooth and my credit showed up right away on credit card . Most places take over week or more to issue the credit back to card.
Came in looking for a light bulb, Nathan came out with me and I showed him exactly what I was looking for. He sold me a $100+ LED set. It was not the correct part. Came in next day Nathan was there again. He put me through such a hassle over not having the paper recite despite the fact it was purchased with a card AND HE SOLD IT TO ME. Customer service is non existent I ended up having to beg and pled with Nathan for 20 minutes to get my refund which he would only offer as a gift card. Potential customers my only advice is have the specific part number ready as employees are not familiar with the products they sell. If the district manager that Nathan kept throwing under the bus as reason too why he was refusing a refund, your adjusting policy’s due to theft which is directly effecting paying customers experience. Again he confidently sold me a part $87 more expensive then what I actually needed and acted like he couldn’t do anything about it for 20 min until he had enough of me begging for mercy. Shame.
Met a guy named "Nathan", I had a bad battery and mount. With him being inventive, he was able to fix both so I can drive temporarily safely. He was very patient. Great job.👍
Second time I have come to this place and the workers are siting on the counter Indian style , it’s apparent the game on his phone was more important that greeting me and helping me , once I got to the counter he was still playing his game on his phone and suggested I go to buy my item at Walmart . I won’t be coming here again !

Shame on you for when a customer calls 3mins before closing, explains their road side assistance helping someone with a flat tire on the highway, and is literally ONE MINUTE from the store and just needs one tool. You announced over the phone you closed your registers early which you should not have as you do not close until 8pm! Therefore at least one register should remain open until 8pm! We arrived 2 mins before 8pm and your doors were locked. Nice smug face standing behind the register.
Thankfully the family that was stranded on the highway WITH CHILDREN IN THE CAR, was able to wait for another road side backup!
Point is, you should’ve remained open until your scheduled time of 8pm we were there BEFORE 8pm and you had already locked your doors, knowing we were coming, no offer to stay open if we were a minute later or anything instead there was nothing you could do cause your registers were closed. I certainly hope you weren’t the store manager and I hope your manager sees this. You need to work on your customer service skills. I hope your family never gets stuck and needs help, and people turn an eye.
Giving 4stars sheerly on the fact that no matter what auto store you go in nowadays none of the employees can actually go in the back and grab any kind of brake line plus unions.....I thought it shows that on their computer.. idk, it's the one item they bring you in the back to pick out whatever you need...
