The two gentleman working Sunday 9/28 @ 4pm were sooooooo helpful! I had a really stubborn battery that didn’t want to come out and I think they noticed that from the beginning and their first reaction was “don’t worry we’re going to get it out regardless”! Between the two of them and countless products and tools they were able to remove the battery and install the new one. I really appreciated their help, their customer service was on point 10/10!

My mirror unexpectedly shattered and I needed a replacement so came to their Stamford location. Matt was incredibly helpful! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made the whole process stress-free for me, who knows nothing about cars - & Really appreciated his friendly attitude. :) Thanks Matt!!

Worst customer service ever. I’m in the retail Industry and if one of my customers call for anything I provide the upmost respect and assistance! Why because it’s a big lose when you have a manager and a team that can’t make things right . I will never go there again unprofessional location

I bought a brake pads and rotors on this store ! Them 4 months later the parts it’s not good, I have a limited lifetime warranty! Then the white hair old guy ( so rude) said no replacement my parts , I call for a manager they said it’s not there! I beam there at the 3 times try to find the manager! And never show up! So I don’t recommend this store ! Be carful on this store!

So far the worst place I've been. They people don't want to help at all, always trying to find excuses.. the manager never show up and the front guys are so rude ..now on advanced are my last opinions. There's no problem you say no but the problem is the way the front guys treat the customers. So unprofessional

Mark provided the worst service I think I have received in 10 years. He is dismissive and impatient. And I don't know why come to work if he don't want to work.

Watched Bill take care of a rude young man . Told him it’s always best to call in advance so you’re not inconvenienced. The sign says Most Cars Most locations . Not every car .. These guys go above and beyond with customer service ! Unfortunately if you can’t comprehend the situation don’t take it out on them ! This will always be my go to store as long as Bill is there !

Came in during the freezing cold with a dead battery, after auto zone couldn’t help me. Even though there was barely any light and it was freezing Anthony hopped right into replacing my battery in no time. Extremely grateful for Anthony and his excellent customer service. Will be returning to you guys in the future.

Good service, good supply of parts, easy in and out. Went in some time ago with battery issues, store manager and one other employee (I believe it might've Mark, and maybe Alex? but this was a month or two ago) were very helpful and patient, helped diagnose and rule out more severe issues, sold me good new battery, helped me swap out the old for the new, and took the old one off my hands for me. Easy, convenient, saved me a day's headache. Will be back again.

Love these guys man ESPECIALLY BILLL one of the most understanding people I’ve ever met he leads by example and his staff and the guys there are all on one accord and make sure to keep the upmost respect and generosity and are very funny and in a professional respectful way

I will not be going back to this store EVER. Not sure the name of the man that helped me (white hair & older) very rude and unprofessional. Informed me that to have the free battery test done on the car I needed to make an appointment a day in advance and was making jokes “just because it says it on the door doesn’t mean we have to do it, the door says the store opens at 7 but really I don’t get here till 7:45 to open” I understand a sense of humor, but don’t be rude and lazy. I understand that it is drizzling out but 3 people sitting down and making jokes at me is not acceptable. This is the second time that I have been to the store and helped by the man with the white hair & the second time I have felt disrespected and disappointed in the customer service that this store provides.

After going to Advanced Auto for years, I'm done and will be going to AutoZone. The last 3 times I've gone I've had the displeasure of being helped by I believe his name is Mark (glasses, beard). All 3 times he's been rude and condescending, and instead of listening to what I'm trying to get he nit picks random parts of the conversation that have no bearing on what I need. I understand that I'm not a mechanic, but stores like these exist to help DIY folks and people that have a moderate understanding of how to fix things. Mark, or whatever his name is, is also not a mechanic. Today I explained what I needed, made more painful as usual by Mark. When he finally got it for me, the exact item I showed a picture of, he told me (verbatim) "Based on what you're telling me you should go to a mechanic because everything you said was wrong". Wasn't looking for advice, was looking for a part. I took my part home, installed it, and everything is running perfectly, and I'll have to deal with this place for the last time. AutoZone might be understaffed but the staff they do have is helpful, friendly, and don't talk to their customers like they're morons.

Beware do not buy car parts here they are dishonest and very rude!! I bought my brakes for my 2016 grand cherokee on 9/21/21 because they are under warranty for 2 years I purchased the replacement parts with a promise my money will be refunded to me when I brought back the old parts. NOPE!! They have all of these excuses why I can't get the refund. First they give me the wrong parts then they won't give me the refund... stay far away from this place.. very rude service there as well.

Mr. Rose was so helpful, he did absolutely amazing with giving me the best advice for my car and knowing exactly what i needed to get. That is a God sent person. William definitely knows what he’s talking about when it comes to vehicle parts. If it wasn’t for him i wouldn’t have known that about my battery. God bless him.

After a two-hour suspect battery change at a popular auto repair chain down the road, I visited Advance Auto Parts in Stamford to purchase an additional piece for my newly installed (too large, mind you) car battery. It was after 8PM when we walked in and Anthony was not only extremely knowledgeable, he confirmed our suspicions of the new battery. Nearly 45 minutes later, my car battery was secure though Anthony advised I visit a mechanic as soon as possible—which compared to the other store, was drastically different advice. TL;DR: cannot recommend Advance Auto Parts on the east side of Stamford enough. Anthony and his team are not only more helpful than their competitors but took the time to explain what additional services I needed, without trying to upsell me.

I have gone to advanced many times and Cesar has been mostly the one that has helped me out. Every time I have gone I’ve always had great customer service and they have made sure I get what I’m looking for. I have recommended this store to many people looking for parts because of how good my experiences have been!

Best auto parts store in Stamford, Super hard working helpful staff & I always get the supplies I need from them, & can get whatever you need delivered!! Cesar is always the first person to help out and never fails to get me anything from parts to detailing supplies. 10/10 Would recommended shopping with Advanced on East Main in Stamford.

Was helped by a Bob. His customer service is impeccable. Needed a diagnosis for my engine light, he was swift, thorough, and incredibly helpful. Bob went above and beyond to double-check and make sure he was giving me all the information I needed to forward to my mechanic. Anyone who goes in there should ask for Bob, he's AWESOME.

I used to go the Auto Zone at the same street one mile away. Started shop at here 3 or 4 years ago since it opened because it was closer. I bought parts and supplies for all my 3 cars and everything looks fine until today. I went there to buy headlights around 2PM today. There was only one customer except me. Two cashier as I seen. One cashier was checking out for the other customer. They both specking Spanish. I don't understand what they were talking so I don't want to judge them but it took very long time. I waited at least 20 minutes they still didn't finish. Meanwhile The other worker just walked around, answering the phone........Keeping ignoring me!!! Finally He said"Can I help you?" I gave the bulb to him. That is all I need!. I said"I waited almost half an hour with only one custom in front of me." I didn't feel like it was a complain. I just told the simple truth. However, In stead of saying sorry, the guys said to me madly"Becase the other guy having issues.You DO NOT NEED TO SHOP HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WAIT!!!". This guys really surprised me.It that really the right way to treat a loyally customer??? Thank God this happened right before the Thanks Giving Day! I left the store without buying anything. I went to The Autozone which is one mile away. There were 4 customer in front of me. I got my H7 Bulbs In 5 minutes! Never will go back to this location. By the way, I really believe this guy is the manager. Shame on you!

I felt welcome entering the store. A young man answered all my questions regarding products. I found a nice mini screw diver with bits. And, the cable ties I bought were in different colors and sizes to help distinguished where to place the ties.

I went to buy some oil for my car and the sales person “Frank” was absolutely awesome. I didn’t know what oil to get and had some issues with determining the level of oil in my car. He couldn’t have been kinder and professional. He took the time to not only find out exactly the type of oil to buy but actually went outside of the store and help me check & fill the oil to the proper level! Talk about service!! Definitely the place to go if you are a novice about car issues and need assistance.
