I really rarely leave reviews but I had to leave a review about this place. The service at Giddings garage is exceptional. My car is important to me and I am very leery of mechanics because I have been scammed in the past. This is not a place where that will ever happen to you if you decide to go here. John and his team were courteous, prompt, accommodated me when they were extremely busy, and they communicated every step of the way. When I called about an issue, they addressed it, fixed it, and gave me my car back. There were no hidden fees or any thing that wasn't clear or explained beforehand. Overall, I really appreciate the amazing service I received and would recommend this place to anyone who was having car issues.
My wife and I were out today and our car decided to give us some trouble. Dave helped us without hesitation when we really needed it. Highly, highly recommend !!!
Maybe a decade ago(?) I was driving through Sherman when the oil light went on in my 2010 Audi A4 wagon. It would go on to do this a number of times, of which this was the first: the 2-liter turbocharged engine became notorious for burning oil as a result and/or consequence of carbon buildup. Audi eventually replaced the engine in our car as a result of a class-action lawsuit. Anyway...
There we were, and we pulled in, and the people at Giddings couldn't have been more helpful. I'm forever grateful to them for their kindness and excellent service.
The whole crew are great! They take care of my Audi. Seems every time I get a service, the car is cleaner than when I drop it off! Highly recommend!

Courtious, helpful. I just came home from the Hospital, and could not loosen the lug nuts on the tire, they told me to come and took care of right away.
friendly, prompt, and very honest. I remember a few years ago I brought in our Acura MDX after the dealership said it needed a couple of thousand dollars worth of service. I brought it to Dave, and said check it out and do whatever is necessary. After looking at the car, he said "They were right, you do need new wiper blades." That was all it needed...What more can I say?

Old fashioned service.
They have been servicing my fleet for years. They even do some basic work on my motorcycles. Fair prices, friendly service, vehicle always ready at the time promised, and if there is an error or oversight they correct it without question or additional charge.
I got into a small accident and the other driver got a quote of $2000 from this place. That is such a high price to get a headlight replaced, repair some scratches on the front bumper and install new clips. I can have a car fully resprayed with that amount of money. Crooks
So happy Dave is in Sherman.His service is second to none; he's the nicest person to deal with; and his pricing is fair. Not sure what our family would do without him.
We just moved to Sherman and brought our car in for new brakes. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and relatively low cost. They even vacuumed the inside of our car before returning it to us. Great place!
