The guys at NOCO Diesel and Auto are the best shop around! I’ve been to shop after shop after shop in Northern Colorado and couldn’t find any I trusted to do good work at a reasonable price. FINALY!!! These guys do GREAT work, reasonably priced and they communicate very well! Matt the owner let me borrow one of his trucks while my truck was down and out so I could continue to run my own business. Ryan the master tech is top notch and gives the run down on everything he finds. I can’t give these guys enough praise for the work they did on my truck! Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop! They went above and beyond fixing every odd and end on my truck, making sure everything was done right and that I would be safe driving it to my new state of residency. No corners cut, just solid, quality work from start to finish.
Ryan is an absolute animal – the man attacked every issue like it was personal and made sure my truck was road-ready. Matt was incredibly understanding about my payment situation and worked with me while I was in a tight bind. That kind of care and flexibility is rare these days.
At the end of the day, you get your vehicle fixed exactly how it’s supposed to be, plus you have people who genuinely care about you and your safety. I will never let another place touch my truck. These guys are going places – watch them take off!

These guys have done a ton of work on my truck. They saved me from having a total engine failure by finding a bad water pump. Matt communicates before replacing parts or doing any unexpected work. He also explains things in a way that a 63 year old woman can understand. Fair pricing. Reliable, dependable, and honest. So very grateful to have found a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic.
I have a large ‘93 E-350 that’s hard to find shops that can work on it due to the size, I was glad to find NoCo Diesel and Auto could accommodate it and not only that but fix an issue I’ve had for years that other mechanics failed to fix. Prices were fair and I was able to get my vehicle looked at promptly. I run a small business out of this van so I’m really glad to find a shop I can count on.
These guys are amazing!!! They diagnosed and repaired an exhaust issue I was having and repaired it the same day. They also checked for any other problem and recommended other repairs that needed to be addressed.
I had a great experience as Matt and his team diagnosed electrical/battery issues on my 2022 Ascent. It’s the week of Christmas so I was expecting to be without my vehicle over the weekend but I was able to get my car back on a Saturday. Matt was communicative throughout the process and pricing was reasonable. I’ll definitely trust him with my family’s cars in the future!

Turned off by the big dealers and repair shops I’ve been looking for a local mechanic that is knowledgable and trustworthy. I finally found one! Matt took care of a coolant problem on a trailblazer that I’ve been nursing along for too long. It is completely fixed and significantly less than other quotes. I will be using Johnstown automotive exclusively moving forward.

Both Brad & Matt are excellent mechanics and amazing humans! They have worked on both my Telluride and my husbands Tundra and done an amazing job. They truly go over the top to make sure you are satisfied. Great rate as well. Very honest and dependable. I HIGHLY recommend!

This place has been so great! I was so lucky to find this mechanic a couple of years ago and I've been going to them ever since! Check engine light comes on? Call Matt! Car shaky and feels funny?
