If I could give any number higher than 5 I would. It’s taken me a while to finally sit down to properly write this review, so if you dont want to read it all — HIRE CHRIS. PLAIN & SIMPLE. I am a travel photographer based in Colorado Springs and I was traveling back from Frisco around 7pm. Car overheated… (later found out it’s a blown head gasket…) and my husband managed to get ahold of Chris just as he was sitting down to eat dinner after completing a long tow. Thankfully, he agreed to pick up the job & was there quick - which I appreciated being on the side of Highway 285 in the dark. The entire 2 hour drive to the shop - we had a great conversation. How he started towing, how he and his beautiful wife met (he was proud to show photos!), we related on the struggles of being business owners etc… and I just could not have felt more comfortable hopping in the cab of a complete stranger. I could go on and on about how professional he was & how seamless everything went. You won’t regret choosing Chris, he’ll get you there safely!!

My son and I were on the side of the road changing a flat tire when Chris pulled over to see if we needed any help. He was there to make sure we were safe and sound and was a huge help to us. He wanted nothing in return for helping us, but I was finally able to convince him to let me give him some money to buy him dinner. What a great guy, and so nice. If I ever needed a towing service in the area, this is absolutely who I’d be calling.

Showed up fast. Helped us get the truck dropped off and drove us to the hotel. Not the ideal day on our honeymoon...

Chris at Above All Towing was able to come up Weston Pass on a Sunday, tow my vehicle with a blown tire, and get me and my kids back to town safely. I would suggest calling Above All first if you need a tow in the Park County area.

Answered immediately late in the day and showed up within half an hour, drove us + our dog 2 hours back to Boulder from the highway shoulder where we broke down. Charged us less than AAA and showed up faster. Thanks!

Fast, Honest, and the Kindest Towing Experience Ever One of the scariest nights turned into a moment of true gratitude thanks to Christopher. We were stuck off-road in deep snow and complete darkness on Road 398 near Buena Vista—a remote area where wildlife activity is common. It was freezing, we were panicked, and had no idea what to do. We first called another towing company claiming to be affordable, but at the last minute, the guy made a silly excuse and demanded more money. It added to our stress and left us feeling helpless. That’s when Christopher from Fairplay came to the rescue—driving over an hour just to reach us. Not only did he arrive quickly, but he brought us water when we were extremely thirsty, made sure we were safe and calm, and helped us out of a truly directionless situation. Our car had frozen and needed to be towed, and he took care of it all, then even dropped us at the auto shop and hotel without hesitation. During the 1-hour ride, we had an inspiring conversation about his family, values, and future developments. It felt less like a towing experience and more like being helped by a friend. His kindness and professionalism stood out like nothing I’ve ever experienced from a towing service. This really happened, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend “ABOVE ALL TOWING AND RECOVERY” service to anyone in need. Fairplay is lucky to have someone like him. God bless him!

Chris came out in the middle of the night to help another tow operator who got stuck trying to get me out of deep heavy snow. Chris and the other tow operator worked together and created a unique solution to pull both of out at the same time. Chris saved the day and worked hard to ensure my wife and I got out safely!

Chris came up here and help us out of towns out. But we got ourselves unstuck as soon as he got here. Great guy came out and made sure we were oksy still.

Despite being a 2 hour drive from Fairplay to Jefferson, on the day of the worst traffic in Park County history, it was still service with a smile and my camper was back on the road to Denver in no time at all! Strongly Recommended!!!

Chris really saved the day. My husband and I woke up to a dead car about 4 miles up in the mountains. Our roadside assistance would not come up the mountain to tow us but, fortunately, we found Chris’s towing service and he made the trek, including rough roads and tight conditions. He safely got our car down the mountain. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Grateful for his desire to help people in need. Fair prices, even discussed them with us and the breakdown of everything. I highly recommend him for services.

Chris was awesome. It’s nice to talk directly to the owner/operator when you call the number. I’d been waiting on my insurance for 5 hours to find someone to winch my vintage class A motor home after I got the bumper stuck which lifted me enough to lose traction. Chris was there faster than he quoted me and used his rollback to dislodge my very heavy coach. He was fast, friendly, his price was good, and he was optimistic the whole time. He even helped me get it parked after I took a better approach at my parking spot (steep grade with lots of trees). Hopefully you don’t need him, but if you’re in the Fairplay area I highly recommend his services. **Another thing I learned, YOU call the recovery service and then have your insurance compensate you.

Chris (the owner / operator) was fantastic. We had a class C RV rental camper and the drive shaft broke in 2 pieces, leaving us completely stranded about 2.5 miles south of Fairplay on 285 on Labor Day morning. I called the rental company was was told they would arrange a tow, but expect a long wait. After about 15 minutes I received a text with Chris' contact information. I immediately called him and despite my poor cell phone coverage I was able to confirm my location, that there would be 5 passengers and 1 dog. Chris said it would be tight but he could take all of us. (We had attempted to get an Uber but to no surprise no driver was available). The van rental company was paying to tow us back to Denver to a Ford dealer near the rental company north of Denver. That was great as we thought we could get an Uber from the Ford dealership. Chris arrived about 5 minutes later. He said the size of the camper van was close to the limit for his tow truck. Chris got the camper on in a few minutes and we piled in the cab. Chris was great, he knew every bump in the road on the way to Denver and warned us in advance. When we got to the Ford dealer the Uber app was telling my wife max of 2 passengers with dog. So we were going to need to Ubers for the 30 minutes ride to home. I asked Chris if he could drive us home (about 30 minutes out of his way). He agreed (we gave him a nice tip) and off we went. Thanks to Chris, our ordeal worked out as best anyone could have hoped for. If you need a tow anywhere near Fairplay Above All Towing should be your first choice.

We had a tire blowout on our camper heading home on 285 south of Fairplay on a Sunday afternoon. I called Chris from Above All Towing and he came right away and changed out the tire with my spare. Chris is friendly, professional and his prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Above All Towing and Recovery!

Chris was amazing - the transmission in my Jeep failed and I had a trailer with 2 dirt bike. He answered immediately, was on time for the tow and recovery, and even accommodated the trailer. Top notch service and a really nice bloke!!

Chris was a God send. At just the right time, he showed up to offer help, providing top quality towing at reasonable price. My wife, kids, and I were headed home to our town near Greeley when our water pump pulley fell apart, leaving us dead on the road as we pulled into Fairplay. Chris happened to be just down the street. Without any hesitation he offered, with a fair price, to load me and my family up in his cab and our fully loaded Yukon XL on his flatbed to make the nearly 3 hour journey over the mountains to LaSalle, CO. We all made it home safe with the vehicle in our driveway! I highly recommend Chris. He will take good care of you and your vehicle!

What a lucky thing to have Chris come along on such an unlucky occasion. We had a tire blow out on our RV, managed to pull it out of traffic onto a side road. Husband used to be able to fix that sort of thing and was making a good effort but being older, dealing with cancer and a hernia plus being disabled myself—it was going to be a long, hard task. Him pulling up in his truck, Chris went right to work, knowing exactly what to do. He was polite, kind, and went beyond the call of duty. To top it off, our phone bit the dust. Finally getting that replaced we are happy to give Above All a positive, but tardy review. Thanks again, your help was greatly appreciated.

Chris saved me so much time and money. I am so thankful for him. I had a flat tire on hwy 285 just south of Fairplay, CO. My insurance company roadside assistance was literally going to take 1 hr and 45 min just to get to me. I looked online for a nearby tow co. I called and Chris answered. He asked if I was in a red mini van. I was. He saw me from his shop and was already getting in his truck to come see if I needed help. Chris changed my flat to my spare, I drove .2 miles to his shop and he fixed the hole in my tire. All of this in 1 hr. My two young daughters and I were on the road quickly to start our vacation in Pagosa Springs. Thank you, Chris!
