The O'Reilly's team in Walsenburg, Colorado, is absolutely amazing! They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.
I am not a mechanic. My husband usually sends me to the parts store pretty well informed, but sometimes we have to rely on the employees at the parts store to help us understand what is needed and what all our options are when our vehicles break down.
Several times now, the Walsenburg O'Reilly's team has gone above and beyond to help us save money, track down parts, and gather supplies. They have even gone as far as to help us find the correct locations of hard-to-find items.
Once, we had a 1997 International bus break down. We didn't know the exact part we needed or where to get it once we found it. O'Reilly's didn't carry the part, but a Walsenburg O'Reilly's team member worked diligently to help us track down the part we needed anyways, and they directed us to two places where we could likely find it. It was amazing! Although there was no sale for O'Reilly's, they still went above and beyond to ensure that we knew what we were after!
Another time, we broke down in their parking lot, and they not only ordered the parts we needed but also let us fix our truck there. Shortly after that, two of their team members, one of whom was a manager, pulled up three short videos to show me where the oil and fuel filters were on our Ford F350 diesel!
The Walsenburg O'Reilly's team continues to humble and amaze us! They truly care about the community, the experience, and your vehicles! Whether you are a local resident or just traveling through, stop by and check these guys out for all of your vehicle repair and maintenance needs! They do a great job at caring for the people and the vehicles!

Adam is helpful and always professional - but Sophia is the BEST! I needed some specific hoses made, so she led me to the back to look at all the fittings. Sadly I needed them quickly, not able to wait to order them online. They had ABsolutely everything in stock - tons of other stuff too - so she said they'd be ready shortly. I ran down to the grocery store and right back. They were ready for me! Smart, helpful, and human! Difficult to find sometimes, but here's a few! Also important is to shop locally, so they stay in business!!!! Just look at the restaurants that have come and gone. Does everyone cook at home? "Food for thought."
I stopped in because I needed help opening my oil cap, it was too tight that no one could open it. Adam was very friendly and quick to get it open so we could get back on the road!
William was really nice and helpful. There’s another guy with a long beard that ran diagnostics for us and said we needed a new fuel pump, he was helpful but we didn’t really enjoy him talking negatively about the towns people it was just off putting. He told us not to use the mechanic JR’s auto but we were glad we went to him because his diagnostic machine was way better and more detailed and he did a fantastic job and saved us $300 for a fuel pump we didn’t need and pretty much saved our trip. The lady that works there is really nice and helpful too. Overall good place for parts and help but if their machine says you need an expensive part I recommend calling JR’s to run diagnostics before purchasing an expensive part.
My experience with O'reilly Auto Parts. In Walsenburg, Colorado was outstanding. I went there to get a battery. They did not have the battery on hand so they ordered it to another business. I picked up the battery at the other business and came back to O'Reilly Auto Parts, and they most graciously installed that battery for me. I will continue to patronize them for all of my auto part needs.
Our family was having car trouble on a long trip back home and the employees here were so accommodating and patient with us as we waited for a mechanic to come help us. They charged up our battery, discovered the problem with our alternator before it blew and offered to let us hang out in their AC. Very happy with our service and their willingness to go above and beyond for our minivan family!
I had vehicle trouble and had to pull in at O'Reilly's here. Stoner came out and checked under my car and was able to reassure me that I could continue on but that I would need some work done eventually. He was awesome and so nice and helpful. He was able to put my mind at ease since it was just my daughter and me on the road today. Thanks again for all your help!
In the middle of a vacation when experiencing car troubles. Sophie and Tiffany of this O'Reilly's went above and beyond to make sure we felt safer driving in our vehicle. Helped us with battery change and looked at our vehicle codes. Very personable workers, relaxed and knowledgeable.
I came to have my windshield wiper looked at and Jack was an absolute professional. It didn't take him long to assess what had to be done and he fixed it within 10 minutes! Keep up the good work!
Stopped in for a quick part and the guys went way above and beyond to help diagnose a check engine light and even give other servicing tips for the vehicle I just purchased. Big thumbs up for this location!
We had car issues and were able to get to O'Reillys just before they closed Shop. As we were working on the car out front, the employees finished up closing duties. Before they locked up, they came out to ensure we did not need anything else. I am blown away by the consideration and kindness shown! Gentlemen through and through, thank you!!
Jesse saved my life. 4 hours from home and my truck kept overheating and didn't think I'd make it home. Jesse got me everything I needed and filled everything himself and I never had another issue and made it home safe. Extremely thankful
The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. My windshield was hit with a rock on the road and they allowed us to fix it in the parking lot, this really kept the glass to continue to fracture further.
The staff in this store have been consistently friendly and helpful. Jesse deserves a shout and a raise. He always makes my day. I will always come to the Walsenburg store over Trinidad or Pueblo because of the staff. Thank you!
I just received a vehicle with no owner's manual,both the manager and the gentleman who just moved here, went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. They both deserve promotions. Thank you.

Always thought this place was great , right up until you need them to honor a warranty, they left my wife and I stranded for 3 hours because they would not warranty a battery that went bad after only three months. The battery shorted out and would not take even the slightest charge it was clearly bad and yet they still made us wait in a blizzard for three hours while they “” tested it”.
You can always tell the quality of a business when it comes to how they take care of their customers with a warranty issue. This place gets a total F based on this experience , I will take my $30,000 a year account somewhere else.
I had to make a parts run and requested the Walsenburg store. They had all the parts pulled and ready. The lady that waited on me double checked that she had the complete order. She also helped me carry out my stuff so I wouldn't have to make 2 trips. Clean store and great service. I live in a small town between Pueblo and Walsenburg and I try to support small town businesses as much as possible.
This O'Reilly Auto Parts store is lost. Everyone there is lost. Ordered a part a week ago and still haven't gotten it. Everytime I go in to ask about it no one knows anything. One worker had the audacity to tell me that it wasn't paid for. Them an other worker comes up and says it's in Trinadad the UPS shop had it. Well here we are 9 days later and still no part. Just wow😡
All the guys at the Walsenburg store are the best. Dave & William are friendly & out standing customer service. We go in there all the time for work stuff they always have what we need if not there will b 1 in the back. You have an issue with anything car ,truck ,or Skid they can help.
Great service from great people, and a selection that hasn’t failed me yet! These folks have been on top of their game with each of my experiences and I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a while. With that said, I hope I’m getting her name correct, Patti (sp?) has helped me a number of times and I’ve never gotten better service. It has been great having this shop right next to me, and saved me on more than a couple occasions! The other guy who has helped me has always been quick to help and just as friendly and knowledgeable. Both of them have gone above and beyond to make sure I found the best item and deal I could get every time I’ve been in!

We blew a radiator on the way to Colorado Springs and practically coasted in to this Oreilly’s. Patricia was extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to get the new radiator. While installing in the parking lot, Patricia made it a point to come check on us and offer water. It made the stress of an unexpected stop a lot easier. Thanks again!!
The service here is amazing. We blew a hose while on vacation, and these guys were awesome to work with. We do a lot of auto repairs and this is easily one of the best shops we've been to. Walsenburg is lucky!

Without any hesitation, everybody worked as a team to help me and my family as best as they could, to get us out of our situation.
With no rental cars or Uber available in this small town, they jumped over their own barriers, to get me my family and my dogs in a hotel.

I love this place. The store is clean & well kept. The staff is always so friendly, welcoming, & helpful. One particular guy, I'd really like to give a shout out to. His name is Dave. He always talks to me as if he's known me my whole life. And he is so helpful, he'll even come outside with me to take a look at my car. Whatever the issue is. Today, he helped me out with a broken screw on my signal light on my Honda Accord. Thanks Dave! I really appreciate it! My truck overheated heading north and I managed to get it here. Adam was very committed to helping me find the cause to make sure I didn't spend money on anything I didn't need. We got it figured out in no time. Luckily, it was a simple fix and I got back on my way.
