$450 to get my car back after a single day of being impounded. Denver.gov says the going rate for private property towing base is only $250. They also stole the valve caps from my tires for some odd reason.
What an absolute joke and a scam.
Typically don’t leave reviews but the customer service guy is absolutely lazy, I call 1 time for a 25 second quote but wanted to tell him I don’t have a aftermarket part instead a OEM catalytic converter, do you not wanna make money? I call 7 straight times after that couple he just send me straight to voicemail. Complete joke. If you have ANYTHING valuable to sell don’t go here these fools don’t even value customer service.
If you dont pick up your vehicle from Colorado Auto Recovery this is where it gets “recycled” unless its a nice car they wont go thru the paperwork of auction and getting titles on vehicles they just cut em up out back, whats the word chop shop?
Good experience and happy with what i got for my catalytic converters. You have to call for them to open the gate and then head straight back. Website said closed on saturday but they were open until 12 on the saturday i went.

I had a great experience. The business is located behind a gate and the employee answered phone and guided me back to where we could do transaction. When arriving, you will have to go theu gate and travel straight, past the towing company. The towing company was kind to me, not sure if folks caught them on a bad day. The cat employee was polite and explained why I would get less than the “full” amount for my car’s cats. I still was getting substantially more than I expected and 20% of the value of new catalytic converters. Thank you
I did an engine swap and had the catalytic converters from the donor vehicle just laying around. Wasn't sure what to expect as far as recycling them, so I looked these guys up and brought them in. Very polite and friendly staff, and they gave me much more $$$ than I expected. Any negative reviews on here are misdirected and belong to the towing company that is on the same premises. Call the Google supplied number when you arrive and let them know you're there. Don't go to the towing company unless you wanna feel like you're back in grade school, getting reprimanded by the headmaster. Again, Core Masters staff was great!
Very shady indeed...I was told immediately that my converter was empty and would maybe = $15. No signage indicating anything except no parking/tow away zone.
Very shady and predatory company. They seem to work both as a towing company and a car junker, disrespectful, unethical and rude. Stay far away from this place, I hope this whole lot gets shut down for their terrible practices.
Edit: the reply from the owners is a lie, we have found their business licenses online, and they are owned by the same people. This is a horrible company that I hope ends up getting exactly what they give.
they share a lot with a towing company, no store-front on site - towing company told me to call them, they 'might be back there', no answer. waste of a drive. called again later, they don't buy old cats from the public without title/registration/papers.

"Core Master inc" when I was Googling Colorado Auto recovery and I typed down their address so I can leave a review, but somehow this one has the exact same address as shown on their business card that I picked up when my car was towed. As an adult this is not my first time getting my car towed, unfortunately dealing with these people when I call to try and get some information about what the requirements were to get my car out, their service was so unacceptable right off the bat, when I called I was looking to get information so I could get my car out as soon as possible. A woman answered with a very short and snotty attitude and gave me the least of help I was looking for. In the end, she ended up hanging up the phone on me, and so I had to call off work early to go deal w this situation. When I arrived, there was no remorse, and nothing changed. The lady was still short and very aggressive.

The lady who work in the front was very rude to me and my cousin we where trying to talk to her she was very disrespectful and have an attitude this place is terrible and very very bad customer service and it was snowing she still make one of us standing outside I have very low iron I could pass have outside but she dining I understand there is a rule but it’s was snowing and freezing will never go there again
