These people are incompetent all around. After impounding my vehicle, they couldn’t even get the model correct which made it difficult to even locate the car. After picking it up, I had to call two separate times to get them to email me my invoice, and of course I never received the email. Not sure what these people are on but they shouldn’t be operating heavy machinery
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally file a complaint against the towing company Maxx Fleet Service Towing and recovery regarding several irregularities that occurred on 04/15, related to the towing of my vehicle from the apartment complex located at Village Gateway Apartment.
I acknowledge that I did not have permission to park in that location, and I understand that my vehicle was towed as a result. However, this situation does not justify the lack of transparency or the potential violations of my rights as the vehicle’s owner.
When I went to retrieve my vehicle, I requested the tow report, as established by Colorado law HB22-1314. The person who assisted me refused to provide it and told me I needed to speak with the apartment management because they were the ones who requested the tow and said that it was private information that couldnt be given to me. This is incorrect, as the towing company is responsible for providing the report directly to the vehicle owner not the apartment complex.
I requested the report because I suspect that my vehicle may have been opened without my permission. Several neighbors witnessed the towing and informed me that the tow truck operator stopped about a block away after hooking up my car and opened the driver’s side door. Although I cannot confirm whether the parking brake was engaged, this action raises serious concerns about whether my vehicle was accessed without legal justification. At no point was I informed or asked for consent for someone to enter my vehicle. Everything that happens during the towing process must be documented by law.
Furthermore, even if the purpose was to release the parking brake, entering the vehicle may not have been necessary. Many cars can be towed using equipment that lifts the drive wheels completely, or using methods that allow for safe towing without having to open the car. Therefore, if the vehicle was opened, it must be clearly documented and justified in the report I was denied access to.
In addition, before releasing my car, I was asked to sign a form agreeing to the charges and waiving any right to a refund. When I expressed my concern — that if the company had, in fact, opened my vehicle without authorization, my signature would prevent me from filing a claim or complaint — the woman assisting me simply said that if that were the case, the apartment complex would be responsible for the refund or complaint not the towing company. I felt forced to sign the form because I was given no alternative and the company was not cooperative in any way.
For all of the above reasons, I respectfully request that this case be investigated for potential violations of my rights as a Colorado resident and vehicle owner, including:
Improper denial of access to the tow report.
Possible unauthorized entry into my vehicle.
Unnecessary use of force or intervention by opening the vehicle.
Lack of transparency and use of deceptive or coercive practices by requiring a waiver of rights as a condition for releasing the vehicle.
I'm still waiting to hear back.

The best towing experience!! After I was left hanging by another towing company Maxx came and saved the day! Their prices are the best around town and the night dispatcher Alicia is so sweet and helped me more than I expected! I won’t ever use antlers towing company!!
Your towing company has a PREDATORY TOWING DEAL with EINSTEIN BAGELS near Congress Park Taproom. Absolutely ridiculous to have a business in which you tow cars at 7PM when the lot is empty and near a busy area full of late night bar businesses that people need spaces to park in. YOU KNOW YOU CAN MAKE MONEY OFF THIS. The tow cost me $365!!!
Suggestion: For "after hours", make a deal where towing doesnt begin til after 11PM.
Whoever contracted this current deal is absolutely nefarious and should be ashamed. They are stealing peoples money and know they can.

Maxx has always been there for me. They are there whenever I need their professional or personal assistance. They get it handled in a timely fashion. I have worked with them for the last 10 years. They have been a phenomenal vendor/customer over the years.
What a great experience from a towing company for once! Dale was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Was able to get everything handled from start to finish with no issues or delays! My car was handled with car. Very professional!
I called many other places, but since it was the weekend, I was always told they couldn't help or given very long time frames! I'm talking 4+ HOURS! And the prices we insane everywhere! I feel like Maxx was VERY fair with prices and was able to get to me very quickly!
