Drove up to enjoy the mountains for the New Year when we were blessed with a non functional truck. We managed to muscle drive our truck to East St Garage. We showed up on New Years Day to the shop with a for sale sign on it. We were worried we may be stuck being towed down the mountain, but attempted a voicemail. Terry called us back the following morning and had the job done the following day. He was prompt, great communication, and genuinely knew his stuff, and on top of it he was courteous to us. Thanks Terry.
Terry is as good as they come. He helped us out in a pinch when we found a leak in our brake line while passing through the area. We can’t recommend him enough!
Beware..It could be hit or miss. Giving them 2 stars because they're local, They effing hate google & give poor referrals . Guy answering the phone is a real prize...btw.
East Street Garage is terrific! Terry is the owner and his son Matt works with him. He keeps my old truck running like a brand new one. He's very friendly and informative and a super helpful guy five stars thumbs up!
Terry is an honest, excellent mechanic! I've known him for many years and he's always treated me well and done good work for a fair price! I would recommend his shop to anyone.
Class Operation. On a road trip and I had a problem brake assist on my Jeep. The shop was backed up with two weeks of appointments. Still the owner, who was obviously busy, came out and examined my vehicle in the parking lot for 10 minutes. Told me it was a vaccum issue. Took my phone number. And with zero chance of ever making a dime off me, as I was on a trip through the area and not coming back, he researched the issue with Jeep to see if it was a common issue that was covered by a dealer. Then called me back with what he found. Who spends a minimum of 30 minutes of their time, when they are busy with many paying customers, to help out someone they will never make a dime off of? Well these guys did. The best. And yes it was a vaccum problem that was fixed with a new pump further down the road.
Fixed my car and it never broke after that. Terry is a character but honest (brutally) and will make deals if possible. Love this shop. Fixed my whole family’s set of cars. American only.... duh!
Terry has always done a great job with my truck. I so appreciate his communication with us, and ability to help us out quickly when the truck has broken down.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Terry and his staff have worked on our family's cars since we moved to CO in '05. Fast and efficient, and very friendly; this place really goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. In August I bought a Jeep Wrangler from a dealership in Denver, and I recently had some engine issues. Matt, the lead mechanic, offered to speak with the dealership on my behalf because they were definitely trying to rip me off. I love these guys and would highly recommend them!
