Went in to get new batteries for my solar set up. They wouldn't have the ones I initially wanted, so I decided to get 2 smaller ones. All good so far. When they order the batteries, I confirm that they are 12V Lithium Ion deepcycle batteries. They say they'll be driven over and I should come back at 2:30 pm (it was 8:30am when I went in). A little annoying to have to delay plans, but no big deal. They say they'll give me a call when the batteries arrive. I show up at 2:30, and am told the batteries aren't there yet, but I will get a call when they come in. After about an hour, I go back in, in case they forgot to call, but no batteries yet. At this point I'm a little annoyed because I have a friend I was going to spend the day with, but I keep having to shorten our time and delay, but I understand that things can delay transport that are out of O'Reilly's control. I wait a while longer, and at 4:15 I go in again, and am greeted by "here to pick up your batteries?". I confirm, asking if they're here. They say yes, though I didn't get a phone call. Anyways, I take my old batteries out, and spend some time moving things around for my new batteries to fit. I get them in place, and before hooking them up double check that they are the right ones. They are not, being 6V Lead acid batteries. I assume they just gave me the wrong ones from the transport, so take them back in. Turns out they accidentally ordered 6V Lead acid batteries, even though I confirmed when they were ordering that they were 12V lithium. The literal only thing that was right was the Amp hours. They did give me a refund, but didn't seem apologetic. Now I have to wait what might end up being 2 weeks until I can try again somewhere else, and I spent an entire day killing time and postponing a friend for nothing.

Nobody in that store knew what an ignition coil was. They wanted me to get the VIN number off the motor so they can look the part up. They cannot even figure out how to look it up in their computer.

I just want you to know about the excellent experience I had at your store. We just arrived in Boulder from a road trip from Minnesota. We had battery issues on our drive out. Since it was late on July 3rd our normal family mechanic was closed for the long holiday weekend. I called the O’Reilly because I visit our local store back home. Bobby told me on the phone that they could check out the battery and maybe replace it. I drove in and Bobby offered great customer service. He checked the battery and it showed it was bad. We went back in the store and picked out a new battery. Bobby then installed the new battery in minutes. Car started right up. Bobby was very pleasant to work with, even in the 96 degree weather he did not complain and had a smile on his face. Great customer service.

Fantastic staff. I was moving my daughter to Boulder when we encountered a headlight issue. They not only helped pick the right headlights but also installed them. We also discovered a broken air duct. It is a very old SUV, but they had the part and since I was without any of the required tools, they also installed the new air duct. I would highly recommend them for their vast part inventory and assistance installing the parts.

So, let me start with i have been going to this location for a hot minute now. And it was decent, good customer service and good knowledge. However, this time was very different.. Situation - I requested to order a tool and was informed it would be in the next day, cool, awesome service. Outcome - However, I went called the next day and got the run around for 30 minutes, with the last cashier trying to insinuate that the situation was my fault. They could not answer simple questions, such as, "If we order today, when would it be in?" And not once, did i get upset, but the lack of professionalism boggles the mind. They did provide me with the store managers name "Golden" and the district managers name, "Dan'o".. so I will be suggesting better train their employees when dealing with customers and helping customers. I am still not upset, but a lot of people who do not know what they are looking for and need the cashiers help, and I did not see the professionalism today. Please do better for those who truly need help.

Matt is the man! One of those classic, raised in the south, “yes sir, yes ma’am” type of fellas with the type of respect that says “I’ll have her home by ten Mr. so and so.” I came here a few weeks ago struggling to remove the oil filter from my car, and he went well out of his way to take care of it for me, retrieving his own tools from his truck to remove it for me (in 20 degree weather, might I add) and I love him for it. Thank you Matt. May the force be with you.

Matthew at the Boulder store was amazing! I dropped an airbud behind my car seat and could not retrieve it. He came out with all his tools and worked on it for a while until he was able to dislodge it. He was kind, generous with his time, and very helpful! Thanks, Matthew!

I’m so grateful to find this place! Matt is such a kind person and went above and beyond to help me with his patience! I purchased an oil online and I wasn’t sure how to use it. With his professional knowledge he guided me through with it. Thank you for helping me! I bought the tool from them after also signed up for their reward program. Will be back for sure!!

What a great experience! Golden was the young man that assisted me on the issue with my daughters car. I was given a scan tool to pull the code for the check engine light. When I brought back the scan tool it showed my daughter neglected to put her gas cap back on. Golden sold me a tethered gas cap that was about 15 dollars and loaned me the tool to install it. Super helpful and professional staff. The owner should get them a shop dog to continue to provide a welcoming and small town feel parts store.

We got stuck in the parking lot tonight with a toddler in the car. Glen was the only one working and was really busy. He still made time to come outside and help us solve the problem with a smile on his face the whole time. He was amazing. Give him a raise for sure because his customer service was unmatched!!! I needed a new headlight. Colette greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and was very helpful in showing me all of the options available and making recommendations. David was also super helpful in installing the new light and explaining to me how to do it myself in case I ever needed to do it on my own. This is my go to auto store, and I have always had prompt and courteous service. Thank you!

I was having trouble with my Subaru 2020 forester battery after not driving the car for two months. After having to boost the car twice in one day, I came to O’Reilly’s and was helped by a man named David. He came outside to test the starter and alternator, and then asked me to shut my car off to test the battery. I was a little nervous to shut the car because the battery had failed twice that very same day. He talked me through the problem and all the different options. He educated me with much enthusiasm… And without condescending… and took time to make sure I understood how to determine my next step. In the end… It turned out I did not need a battery today…the car tested fine and restarted. Thank you again David for your earnestness patience and perseverance. I will definitely come back the next time I need any car parts. I cannot recommend O’Reilly on baseline at foothills highly enough. If you’re looking for something that feels like great “small town customer care”… this is the place to go. Thanks again David

Very young and green staff, I haven’t seen anyone over 30 behind the counter. Which, of course is fine, but most of which appear to have never turned a wrench in their life, making it difficult to discuss and try to diagnose a problem. I brought back a starter I purchased from them and had to walk the employee through operating their own testing machine. Additionally, besides the basics (oil, coolant, etc) the equipment they sell in store is sub Harbor Freight quality, like jack stands, seat covers, etc. I’ve had to trade my starter motor in 3 times within the past 2 years because of premature failure. My guess is that it’s due to going with the lowest cost motor rebuilder. They warranty the replacement at no out of pocket cost, but it’s still a waste of time. That said, the employees do tend to try and be helpful and it’s a pretty big store, they’ll likely have an oddball component you may need. Totally fine store to go to out of convenience if you need to pick up some oil or wax, but if you want to talk shop/diagnose a problem, you’ll have better luck at Advance on 30th or 33rd.

I am blown away by the helpfulness and kindness of the workers at this shop. I came in with flat tires on my bike, and they helped me pump up the tires, even though that's above and beyond what they are there for. I'm so grateful, and I highly recommend this O'Reilly.

Dan at O'Reilly Auto Parts was really helpful. I had a break light out and needed help picking a long lasting bulb. He also helped me install it which required some tools that I did not have. He was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store.

Great customer service. They always make sure I'm buying the correct parts and offer easy exchanges and returns when I make the wrong purchase. They are also always very kind and respectful towards my service dogs, which I deeply appreciate.

Nathan was very helpful when I needed a diagnostic for my Service Engine Soon light. He got me the code and the price for the part I might need and was super informative about what was happening in the car. Will definitely keep coming back here for sure!

Very easy to pick up the part I needed for my car which is a light bulb for the headlight on my car. A little more expensive than I wanted to pay but I never have issues with O'Reilly auto parts any store I go too. My car takes an H13 bulb and I needed a single pack. They do carry it. Thankfully I got the last one they had on the shelf. Never a bad experiences with O'Reilly
