What clients say about Cellular Recycler in Boulder (CO)

Had a few broken old phones that I needed to get rid of and found this business on a Boulder County webpage for disposing e-waste. I was able to print a label directly from their website and ship it to them via UPS in a box I reused. A few weeks later I received a check for a small amount in the mail. Process is like returning something you ordered online, very simple. It's great being able to responsibly recycle these old devices and even make a little bit from it. Overall a very pleasant experience.

My sister needed a new phone for high school but we couldn’t afford to buy one for her at our carrier or at the Apple Store, as they were all upwards of $500. She got an iPhone 12 here (I think we picked a “Excellent” quality one) for half of what we would have paid elsewhere. The phone was in perfect condition and has worked great for the past three years. Definitely recommend!

Love this local business. We have been dropping off our old phones here for years. They do the right thing. I always notice the staff seems caring and friendly about what they do, management must keep them happy. You need to recycle a phone go here.

My experience with Cellular Recycler was easy and pleasant. I had some old phones that needed to be recycled. I printed off a Free shipping label on their website, dropped the phones in the mail, and I received a check after they received my phones in a very timely manner. The process was super easy and I would use it again.

Cellular Recycler is an AWESOME company! I have gone to them twice to replace my phone, once to the actual store, and now the online store, which saves a lot of time. They have quality phones at even better prices. The staff are friendly, responsive, and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with the service and your product.

My phone kept dying and I finally figured out it was the battery. Instead of buying a new one at retail price, I went here on my lunch break and got one for $1!....they also have chargers.

Went to see if they had a smart phone I wanted. Its in a warehouse building so kind of confusing, but found retail side that is located at the wood deck. They didn't have the exact phone I wanted, but one super similar and way cheaper! Great find.

Went here to turn in an old phone for some money. It is kind of in a random place, but the building is really nice inside. They also sold phones there....older used ones for cheap and new looking ones for still less then normal.

I wanted a new phone but didn't want to pay a high price or buy one off craigslist because that's sketchy. My friend told me about these guys because he dropped a few old phones off and got cash back. I went in during my lunch break and the experience was quick and simple. I needed a verizon phone and they had a bunch to choose from: basic flip phones to smart touch phones. I was very pleased and the phone works perfect... for a fraction of the price.

This was one of the WORST shopping experiences I have had. I needed a phone to use for a few months, so I didn't want to buy a full price phone. This looked like the answer. The FIRST time I went in, a girl helped me. I needed a phone that would work on Verizon. She points to the shelf that she said had all of the Verizon phones. I found one I liked and brought it to the store to get activated...turns out it was a T-Mobile phone and would not work with Verizon. It even said T-Mobile on the back. I figured since she worked there she knew that it would work...I guess not. So, I return to the store and exchange the phone for another. This phone did say Verizon on it, so I figured I was good. So, I drive back to the Verizon store, and they tell me the phone has been flashed over to Cricket and no longer works on Verizon. Strike Two. So, I drive BACK to this hall of morons, only to find they CLOSED a half hour early!! I returned the next morning at 8:55AM to continue this wonderful experience to find out they still were NOT OPEN (with a posted opening time of 8:30AM). Obviously these fools are not operating in the same time zone as the rest of us. I did finally get a phone that worked, but I can assure you the next time I need a used phone it will not be through these worthless people. My advice, if you need a inexpensive phone, just go to eBay or Craigslist. This place is run by a bunch of idiots.
