They replaced a part for me and it went out again a year and a half later. They wanted to charge me the same price for another one but couldn’t tell me why the one they replaced went out, then proceeded to tell me other things wrong with my vehicle, which is where i lost all trust. I bought the part I needed for 1/10th of the price they quoted and replaced it successfully after watching a YouTube video. It only took 15 minutes. I researched the other parts they told me I needed to replace & inspected them myself to see they were fine. Not making any claims against this place except that I feel robbed and they were trying to rob me even more. I’ll allow whoever reads this to take the information and make their own judgement.

On a sweltering 98° day, my AC gave out and I brought my car into Repair Masters in Boulder expecting the worst—a leaking compressor and a huge repair bill. Not only did they diagnose the issue quickly, but instead of replacing the part (as I was quoted elsewhere), they were able to repair it—saving me a ton of money. I’ve honestly never had that kind of honesty and transparency at any other local auto repair shop. These folks are the real deal. Repair Masters has earned my trust—and my business—for life.

We were looking at a car from a private seller and wanted a mechanic to take a look at it first. Thank goodness we found Repair Masters! They were wonderful and thorough, gave us a list of all the things they checked and what we should be aware of. They helped us understand that all those issues they found together made this car not the right one for us. The best $100 spent to make sure we had a safe, reliable vehicle.

Hands down, without a doubt, this, and Jim's other locations, are the best around! Jim, Michelle, and the entire team are amongst the most knowledgeable, honest, courteous, and caring in the biz! Their service is second to none. My family has been going to Jim and his crew for as long as I can remember. We always recommend his shops. If you like knowing your vehicle is in trusted hands and with the most knowledge crew around, look no further.

It was great to finally find a professional and friendly repair shop to repair my 1992 Mustang. This company is friendly, honest and does excellent work. This is the best experience I have had with an automobile repair shop in a very long time. Michelle and Gordon are great to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable and Clay is an excellent mechanic that has proven to know what he is doing. Thank you Repair Masters for the great job. I commute to Boulder from Denver area. When I arrived to work this morning to discover a screw in one of my tires I was pretty bummed. Took my car here before they opened and waited a few minutes for them to open the doors. They were able to fit me in at a very affordable price and had it done in a couple hours. The most affordable puncture repair I have ever paid for and super friendly staff. Will go back again

For some reasons my car couldn't start anymore. I had my véhicule towed to Repair masters Automotive. I showed up at the garage around noon. Even if their appointment were super tide, they managed to have a look on my car and i was able to hit the road again by 4:00pm. I couldn't Hope to find better place for my car. I highly recommended this shop. Spécial thanks to Jim the owner, it has been a pleasure to deal with you.

I changed my brakes in this place a month ago, but unfortunately they had a manufacturing defect. I've scheduled an appointment and in two hours they changed the brakes for free because they were on warranty. This and Louisville locations are the most honest, cheapest mechanic in this area. Highly recommended!

I finally found "The BEST" auto repair shop in Boulder after living here 34 years. I had an emission failure on my Toyota Land Cruiser and this shop promptly diagnosed the problem, fixed the issues and the vehicle passed emissions after my several prior attempts. The service was "Outstanding"-which is hard to find in vehicle repair facilities. My 3 vehicles will now be serviced here in the future. Thx to Gordon, Michelle and Clay for their professional & cost effective work and extra ordinary service!!! I highly recommend Repair Masters Automotive in Boulder. Brian from Boulder

Today I brought my car for an oil change. In addition to the oil change they gave all the detail about the car's condition several of which I am aware. They were aware that I am foreigner, but they did a very good job without having me worry about things that do not affect the car's performance in short term. Thanks Repair Masters!

My car wouldn’t start one morning and when called they said it was most likely the battery. After getting it jumped I took it in, and Mishelle helped me at the front desk, quoted me, and was able to squeeze me in to get a new battery that same day! Wonderful, and professional customer service. Will be going here from now on for all my car needs.

2011 4Runner here 5/12/22 for brakes/rotors. Was already committed to having that done, and what drew me here was the friendly receptionist Michelle, and the fair price quoted (and I got quotes from several places in Boulder). They've looked at another car of mine prior as well. They called me about midday and let me know the width of the pads and rotors, and that I could in fact get more life out of each and still operate safely should I choose. I will most definitely get all the life I can out of the pads/rotors because...well, money. Friendly, responsive, timely, and honest. Will be back in a few months for brakes/rotors no doubt.

Did go for oil leak and engine noise issues. They spent all their time with patience and did let me know that there is no issue and didn't charge me except for a nominal charge. Earlier I did go to another repair shop, and they recommended atleast $400 of services. Repair masters are awesome, honest and professional.

I’ve lived in Boulder for a decade and this is by far the best shop I’ve ever been to. They are honest in the work you need versus what is not necessary. They’ll also keep you up to date the whole way through. Their prices are more than fair considering the area and what auto work goes for around here, plus they work hard to deliver on time. It’s tough to find mechanics you can trust, but these guys and gals are it.

They genuinely care about their customers. They listen and communicate well, get the diagnoses right and fix the problem. They are honest and have fair prices. I have been pleased every time I've taken my (old) Jeep there. They've kept it running for 246,400 miles.

Repair Masters was recommended to me by a local oil change operation and I can't begin to say enough about the outstanding service I have received here. They are so honest, but now, during this usual time in history (Pandemic 2020), they have gone above and beyond in all facets of service. I can't thank them enough for their outstanding value, quality and unmatched customer/vehicle care and service.

If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, competitively priced mechanic who can easily diagnose and fix the problem at hand look no further! I’ve been to well over 50 mechanics in my life and Repair Masters is the best you’ll find, who also stands behind the work they perform. Ask for Gordon or Michelle. You won’t be disappointed. I did not receive an incentive or any compensation for writing this review - just wanted to share my positive experience with others.

Tldr: went in to get my AC fixed. It cost just as much as the dealership, but they left my windshield wipers loose, resulting in a dangerous drive home. I recently had an issue with my air conditioning in my car and I took it to the Ford dealership in Longmont to get diagnosed. The price to get it fixed was quoted by the Ford folks at around 900 dollars. Minus the diagnostic fee from the Ford dealership (160ish) I was expecting to pay between 700 and 800 dollars. I called repair master automotive to get a second opinion. Over the phone, they quoted the fix at around 500 so I thought I'd try them out. When I took my car in for them to fix, I gave them the notes from the Ford dealership. They realized there was an extra step the Ford dealership realized we'd have to do for my car (resealing something or other) that they hadn't thought of, so their price went up to mid 700s as well. Considering that they're the same price but that they didn't think of the fact that they needed to perform a given step, it might be advisable to simply go to the dealership to begin with. That said, they're much closer to my house, so I just trusted them to do it because I have a new baby at home and going places is difficult. I think they did a good job. So far, there have been no problems and I'm glad that they didn't simply leave the necessary step undone. UPDATE: A few days after I got my AC fixed here, I was on the highway with my month old baby in the back seat and it started raining. Much to my horror, my windshield wipers wouldn't work. They were working just fine before I brought the car in to get the AC fixed, so I wasn't expecting them to spontaneously die on me. I made it home safe thankfully and my husband took a look at them. The engines that move them were fine, but the bolts connecting them to the engines were loose. We tightened the bolts and everything worked again. I (not being car savvy) assume something about the process of fixing the AC required the removal of the windshield wipers and that when they put them back on, they only hand tightened the bolts, leaving the wipers ineffective. I'm glad nothing more was wrong and I can see that that would be an easy mistake to make, but it is the kind of mistake that could be very dangerous in certain circumstances.

My Jeep starting making loud clicking noises late Friday afternoon. I was in Boulder for a meeting - a long way from home. I went to the shop and was told that they were closing up. I explained that I didn’t live there and asked for advice. Gordon (i think), then went out to his truck, retrieved his tools and had me fixed in under 30 min for $28. I couldn’t be more grateful or impressed with the service, but mostly for his compassion and willingness to help. It was incredibly refreshing.

As an independent woman it can be difficult to find a auto repair shop that I can trust. I have been charged far more than I should have on more than one occasion. Repair Masters has repaired my vehicle a couple times and now I won't go anywhere else. Not only is their staff incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, but they are truly an honest business. I went to Swedish Motors to get my oil changed and they informed me that I needed to get my front rotors and brake pads replaced. They quoted me at $600+. I even asked a Volvo dealership and they quoted me for the same price. Repair Masters quoted me at almost half the price AND they were kind enough to help my zip-tie my bumper into place and it looks much better. This was all done in less than a day. If you are looking for a no nonsense, honest car repair shop, look no further. Thank you very much, guys! Keep up the great work.

In your life you need an accountant, doctor, dentist and auto repairman that you can trust. Five Years later I still drive my cars from Golden to Repair Masters in Boulder for any work we need. I cannot say enough great things about the service, care and quality work at repair masters. They constantly talk me out of unnecessary work and explain when work is optional but a good idea. Reasonably priced too. Old Post: Jim and the guys at Repair Masters have always done me well. These are the guys I trust in Boulder. They've done stellar repair/maintenance work and always turned it around same day. They completed warranty work and did all the contacting of the warranty folks for no additional charge (they called to see if it was covered and spent a considerable amount of time explaining my benefits to me, something they could have easily told me to call the warranty company for). They've also advised on option maintenance and told me a few things that weren't necessary. That's right, they talked me OUT of doing extra work on my car. I've also had my girlfriends car there for an estimate and they came in at a lower price than another auto repair place.

I love Repair Masters Automotive. I am a mature single woman who has been taking my vehicles to this business for years. I've had lots of experience dealing with other service centers including dealerships and regularly had issues with integrity, unnecessary work being done, high labor prices, etc until I experienced Repair Masters Automotive. All personnel there treats you respectfully and expediently. The work is excellent and they tell you what to expect for future maintenance so as to stay ahead of potential problems. The transmission in my vehicle recently broke down and I had to purchase a new vehicle. Not only did they advise me on a vehicle that would best meet my needs and would last with the best results, they allowed me to keep my current vehicle on their lot while searching for a new car. Integrity comes to mind when I think of Repair Masters Automotive. Consider them for your auto needs. You won't be sorry.

My wife and I were visiting from NC. Halfway up a nearby mountain our alternator goes out. Repair Masters was our second stop. It was the day after the 4th of July so everyone was slammed. The car stopped turning over in their parking lot, so we were stranded. Jim said they could get it done same day and even offered to drop us off somewhere more comfortable while we waited. They had it done within 4 hours and saved our trip. Outstanding costumer service, I highly recommend them.

These guys did a good job at a reasonable price when they worked on my brakes, but they will ream you for an oil change. I was charged $12.50/quart for an oil I could walk into a store and buy for under $9, and that shops can get at a discounted price for buying in bulk. In addition, they charged $2 to top off my washer fluid!!!(something that I did not ask for and that I'm pretty sure even discount places do as a courtesy), how ridiculous is that? I would recommend them for other types of work, but an oil I would go elsewhere.

I brought my SUV into Repair Master Auto with a clutch problem. They diagnosed the problem in just a short period of time. Left the vehicle with them and they were on it in less time then I anticipated. They had it the shop and disassembled and reassembled with all new parts in about four hours. Jim gave me a call, and said "your up and running" to which I replied so soon. I drove it off the yard and home. Now, I've own this SUV since 96, bought it brand new. I've done a lot of performance up- grades to the vehicle, they installed a high performance clutch kit. I called Repair Master when I got home, Michelle answered the phone. I told her that I've had two new clutches installed on that vehicle since I've own it, and that shifting was never so smooth and easy not even when it was new. The workmanship is higher then expected and much better then even a dealers repair shop. You can't compare prices there isn't any comparison, in the past I paid twice and more then twice for the same work with less performance. This is the automotive shop that I'll be going too now and in the future. RPB Thanx you Repair Master.

For three years, I've trusted Jim at Repair Masters to help take care of our daughter's 2008 Ford Fusion, as she finished her college work at the University of Colorado. Two excellent sets of tires and several timely services kept the Ford running safely. If you have a son or daughter with a vehicle in Boulder, this is the place to trust for taking good care of that vehicle at reasonable prices.

I was only in Boulder for the summer and needed a place to look at my brakes as the rotors were warping. Repair Masters took a look for me and told me honestly that I would need a full brake job on both the front and back - eventually! They told me that I had 5-7000 miles left on my pads and that not replacing the rotors until then wouldn't be a problem or a safety concern. They knew that I wouldn't be around at that point and yet still were truthful about my brakes not needing work (even though they definitely feel like they do). A good and honest mechanic is hard to find, but Boulder residents can trust Repair Masters Automotive completely.

My heater went out. They charged me over $100 just for an estimate which ultimately they said would cost me $800 (mostly labor). I couldn't afford $800 so I found a family friend who was a mechanic to look at it. He had the heater running in 15 minutes. He said they were trying to charge me for 8 hours of labor on a very simple job. Just thought I'd let others know about my experience with them. I recommend going elsewhere.
