Good people, honest, good service, fast, often in and out same day, often can do a same day appointment as well, straightforward, will tell you when work isn’t worth doing, and they will work with you and give you cheaper options if you need it
They are amazing! Very fast, friendly, and don't try to rip you off. Used them twice so far and I very highly recommend them! As a home mechanic for most of my stuff, I can say their work has been really great for the things I needed them for.

Filled out the online form and heard back promptly regarding a potential starter issue with my 2017 Tundra. Brought the truck in and they tested my truck/battery and determined that the battery was the issue and not the starter. Saved me time AND money. This may be the best shop around! They know what they are doing with Toyotas, and they will give it to you straight, no messing around. The knowledge and time is what you are paying for, the quality of service is simply natural. Keeping it simple, just like Toyota itself. Would not take my truck anywhere else in the front range.
I have gone to Chan's since 1986. They have taken care of my seven Volvos and other cars over the years. There are no better mechanics in Boulder County, maybe even Colorado! I highly recommend them!
Visiting Boulder from Pittsburgh and my 2000 4Runner needed service. Chan got me in quickly and gave me an honest assessment on the state of my rear axel. Advised not worth fixing the issue on a 25 year old car, but gave me a temporary solution to get me back home. Great folks!
Wish I could give 10 stars. I’ve had friends drive here on road trips because they are so great. Incredibly good prices. All of the staff are incredibly talented and knowledgeable. Trustworthy; they are honest even when they could easily make more money on small things like telling me where to get a service done for free instead of offering to do it for a charge. True integrity and solid fast work is what you can always expect. I send everyone I know here and will continue to do so.
We were due for an oil change in our Mercedes and tried booking appointments at other shops located in Boulder, but they were all booked. We called Chan Foreign Car, and the lady was super sweet and helped us get on the schedule even though they were packed. We really appreciate the people there; they are really nice, and we are very satisfied with the service.
I was on a road trip and found this shop based on their reviews. My brakes were fading, so I showed up in the morning stating I needed my car by the end of the day. This is a family owned business, and everyone at the shop worked hard to ensure that my car was trip ready, even after discovering that my brakes had deeper issues requiring more extensive repair. They even fixed an oil leak that they found! I would give 10 stars if it were an option. Whether you are local or just passing through, Chan Foregin Car is an honest and reliable place to service your vehicle, and their prices are more than fair. I've been going to Chan foreign car for almost 15 years. It feels like having a mechanic in the family who isn't gonna tell you to fix something that ain't broken. They take good care of me and my vehicles.

Super friendly people with high quality, quick, and affordable service. They were able to get my car in quickly and get it fixed within a couple of days. Didn’t try to upsell me anywhere (except for offering an oil change that I did desperately need). Will absolutely be back here for any car needs, although hopefully those are limited!
After a profoundly disappointing experience at Legacy Automotive in Boulder, I turned to Chan Foreign Car to address the ongoing issues with my Toyota Tundra. Despite the parts that were recently replaced by Legacy, such as the lower ball joint and the front axle, already needing replacement, I found solace in the fact that Chan's was able to rectify these issues. They also discovered that the struts, which Legacy replaced just over a year ago, also needed replacement. This, coupled with the fact that Legacy had used different-sized springs on the right and left sides, led me to the decision to have Chan's complete the repairs. They even went above and beyond by fixing my driver's side door and rattling mirror without charge, further solidifying my trust in their service.
My 18-year-old Toyota Tundra now drives like new. My father has used Chan's for years and has only had positive experiences. They are friendly, attentive, and offer quality service you can trust. I highly recommend Chan's.
I recently got my Subaru’s brakes replaced and oil change at Chan’s Foreign Car and I’m so happy with their work! Before my appointment they looked at my car for a free diagnosis then I was able to bring my car in shortly after. When I picked my car up I was pleasantly surprised that they also fixed my tire pressure and even refilled my windshield wiper fluid that was out!! For free! So nice. They have reasonable, affordable prices and they’re friendly and efficient, too. Couldn’t recommend them enough :)
The best car service ever! Friendly and efficient. While on vacation in Boulder, my Volvo developed a "clucking noise" and these folks diagnosed it and repaired it in short order (while I waited). They found a previous mechanic's mistake and repaired it quickly and affordably. The best!

We love driving and working on old Toyotas! When we get stuck or just need a little advice, these guys are always there for us with is their honest and straightforward opinion. Fantastic shop. This is the best mechanic shop I’ve ever used. We’ve lived in Boulder 9 years and found Chan’s in year 1. We’ve used them exclusively for our four cars during that time and recommend them to friends. They are honest, hard working people who know their business and are really nice to deal with. Just a lovely business that we happen to use often and totally deserving of a 5 star review!!!
