Man. If you've never been, probably don't. These folk seem to have been doing just fine without ya, and don't need your business.
Office staff doesn't seem to care about anyone walking in the door, customer engagement is virtually non existent, and to top it all off the information you get on the phone from them is not the reality when you arrive.
Called yesterday, asked for a 4ftx4ft sheet of expanded sheet metal. Man on the phone said "sure stop by we carry that" when I arrive and quote the phone call I was simply shrugged off.
But hey. Its a glorified scrap yard. What do you expect?
The guys there are super helpful and found what I needed in an hour or less. Cheap too!

friendly staff. after getting my hands dirty with the grease from new steel they came out to my truck after loading and brought me paper towels with cleaning solution to clean my hands... very thoughtful! and appreciated...
Came 20-25 min before close and everyone in the yard was very helpful. I love the idea of repurposed steel. It's cool that the hard working guys in there are filthy and friendly.
Everyone I've ever dealt with here has been super friendly and more than willing to help out. They have damn near everything and their prices are great.
Every person I met or asked for help was friendly and helpful beyond my expectations. What a great experience! The amount of inventory they have is over-whelming. If you're a project person or fabricator - this place is worth while.

Í could look around their scrap yard for hours. Theres all kinds of things mechanical there. When I went to the checkout, it was only a buck seventy five. I was happy, and if you are looking for a unique piece or part to something mechanical weather old or new, this may be the last place you will have to look.
Friendly, helpful staff ( just ask for help). Good prices on salvage and new materials. I generally go here for the salvage material. More popular sizes and materials can be difficult to find due to high demand post-pandemic.
Went for my first time today and definitely will be back. Great selection and well organized for a surplus facility. Staff was super helpful pointing me to what I was looking for and the prices were good.
Good old fashioned surplus dealer. Fair prices, surprisingly friendly service. Amazing inventory of weird stuff. Some new steel. I get lost there for half an hour just looking through all the things they have for sale.
Today I bought some steel for a project lm working on. They have new and used steel. You can save money if they have used steel that fit's your project. The used steel is drop off from some big companies projects. It looks like new to me. They also sell a lot of other stuff to. If your looking for something that your hardware doesn't have they probably have it. You can barter with them on the price of some thing. Go and check it out. It's a big place so have plenty of time. Look in all the building.
As a longtime fabricator, i cant help but love this place. Ive been coming here for 22+ years and havent ever been disappointed. Their steel prices are on the steep side but they bend over backwards to accommodate you. If K&K dont have it, you dont need it!lol. They got a bit of everything and i highly recommend this business to all of my friends. I dont think i know of anyone of my buddies that has ever left there empty handed so ya, plan on spending some time there.
This facility has many items, all mostly salvaged from auctions, estate sales possibly, or overstock. Large selection of various metals. Nothing high quality, but it’s well worth making this your first stop, as they just might have what you need -and at a decent price.
Huge selection of random things, lots of scrap metal and drops. Prices are cheap, and many times by the pound. Tons of weird finds, industrial parts and components. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Awesome place to get all kinds of hardware and steel. New and remnants, pipe, aluminum sheets, expanded metal, tools, fittings. Cheap prices even have me small items at no charge.
Good place to grab some metal quickly. Unfortunately since the old man isn't there the service isn't as good and they have a considerable amount less of scrap metal which is what they built the business on. Been going there for 20 years but it's getting harder to find what I need there. Bring back the scrap!
The guys working the yard were having an argument but that didn't keep them from being courteous to me and helping me out. They were very helpful and got my items cut quickly and accurately. The new steel prices were very reasonable and I will frequent this business more in the future. I would highly recommend K&K Surplus.
We went looking for fabrication material for a trailer. They had everything we need and we're very helpful and informative about materials we should use. The price was right and I would recommend K&K Surplus to everyone.
Always good people to deal with. I usually just need a little bit of metal. And they're always happy to sell whatever you want. They have a great selection of scrap metal to do projects cheaper.

Have Worked with Ken and Jason On several occasions Both on the sale end and Customer end. Very easy to get around the yard, little crowded at times but the inventory is a revolving door. Great just to stop in gets a creative mind going with the amount of material they have in stock. Stand up guys. You Got my business and my referral. As for the guy who said its not what it used to be... Neither is Denver Things change so does management deal with it or move on. 2 Brothers making it happen..
It is difficult to imagine a more fun steel yard. The people are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They don't mind cutting 20 foot stock in two so that it will fit in my truck. The prices are reasonable and often I can find much of what I need in the surplus yard. They usually have the rest of what I need in new steel, and if not they order it. If you are a blacksmith, sculptor, or welder there is a good chance that you will find what you need.
