I just gotta say the lady that helped me in the front desk was nice but the yard boy was not the nicest he got mad at me because i was trying to get my wallet and my important papers and he started being rude saying "he didn't have all day to hurry up and if i wanted to get my stuff out that i should have taken the car out when it was crushed

Mirage Recovery Services really came through for our family and we are so grateful for their friendly and efficient service! We were stuck camping in the Steamboat Springs area because our fifth wheel RV king pin box hitch welds failed and it couldn't be fixed locally or towed in the traditional manner. We needed a flat bed tow truck for our 30' RV to get it home which seemed impossible to find. We worked with AAA and Progressive for a couple of days trying to get towed and they could not find us service providers and did not end up helping. Thankfully a local Steamboat towing company we called recommended we call Mirage in Denver. Mirage was friendly and moved quickly to help us out. We sent pictures and they were able to send a driver, Colton. Colton drove all the way over from Denver to get us, spent quality time loading and hooking up our RV, then drove all the way to our home in Fort Collins to unload. We are so grateful and I would recommend Mirage Recovery Services to anyone. On top of this and considering the services and crazy request, the price was very reasonable. Thank you Mirage!!

My truck was stolen and whomever stole it, wrecked it to an obliviated mess. They couldn't tell me anything about my truck. And I was disappointed that they didn't even try to call me to let me know about my truck either

If I could give zero stars I would, my car was towed not for any crazy reason I was just told “I was parked in the wrong spot” and that’s the only information they could give me which that is what it is, but I walked in and Bobby is her name was so rude for absolutely no reason, I am a young girl and I am very polite and was just doing what I needed to do to get my vehicle, but when I say this was a horrible interaction, I walked in and instantly she was rude for absolutely no reason. She was demanding and condescending to myself and everyone else in there, I understand that people have bad days but she was absolutely ridiculous in the way she acted and I really just don’t think it is okay at all for people to treat others like that. And upon reading other reviews, this is definitely an issue, treating humans with just common courtesy Respect is not that hard.

OMG THE OWNER OR MANAGER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE WAY HIS EMPLOYEES ACT. I HAD TO DO A CITY JOB FOR TRAFFIC AND THEIR EMPLOYEE WALKED UP TO MY CREW AND I AND BASICALLY THREATENED US TO TOW US IN THEIR PARKING LOT... LIKE WOW FOR REAL!!!! COME AT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND THEY MIGHT EVEN SHOW YOU KINDNESS...oooooo and sitting here i witnessed 3 tow trucks towing cars and they were sparking...hmmmmmmmmm

We have used Mirage for our recovery needs for years. Jerri in the office has always been helpful when I need copies of invoices I lost. Dispatch folks are quick to respond to all of our needs. I am not sure how their rates compare to others but I know their service has been outstanding for us, which is a top priority.

Horrible customer service. Asking unnecessary questions that have no relation at all to the situation and overall lack of service. Woman in the front pretended to not know Spanish just to avoid talking to my mom and then eventually just started talking in Spanish out of the blue. Reply to your comment: My mom knows zero English I did translating over the phone which I recorded. This honestly proves that you guys in fact did NOT check your “footage” and lied. I was translating over the phone and the lady asked how we got a salvage vehicle insured and all my mom said to me was “Why does she need to know that?” and just like that your employee yelled at her “CAUSE I NEED TO KNOW” in perfect Spanish and if anything your employee said “ poor thing” as my mom walked out.Not once did my mom offend ur employee and you’re not required to speak Spanish but there’s no reason why she had to yell at my mom for not answering her unnecessary questions about our car being Salvage Title cause that doesn’t concern your employee at all. The insurance company had already spoke with you guys and all my mom was there to do is pick up her belongings inside the vehicle.

The front desk staff who called themselves Bobby, and Jerry were unbelievably rude and condescending to everyone, including me, even though we were all polite and professional. Jerry was extremely racist to the gentleman in front of me and making all kinds of accusations based on him not speaking English. (The guys who helped me get my belongings from my car were very kind and friendly!!) After being rear-ended on the highway last night, my car was towed here by the police. When I came in to release it to my own towing company, I asked about payment, and Bobby told me it varies from company to company and didn’t give me a real answer. I told her I was happy to pay and would wait for my driver to arrive to figure that out. While I stepped outside for 5 minutes to watch for my driver I got a call saying that they had told my driver I refused to pay and left 15 minutes ago. My tow truck driver even said they were extremely rude to him and very upset with me to the point where he was just going to leave. As soon as I heard that I went back inside to tell them I hadn’t left and was more than willing to pay and then I paid to get my car towed. While I was in there, another customer told me they were talking badly about me the moment I left. And I was met with the same unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from them and they lied to me about the interaction between the tow truck driver as well. To say they were unprofessional would be an understatement. I wouldn’t recommend Mirage Towing to anyone looking for honest or respectful service.

You know how tow mater was a good guy in cars 1,2 and 3? Well In a true well-oiled machine society I believe that tow company’s are here to help instead of make your life miserable (maybe in an alternate universe somewhere). That being said, get ready to pucker that leather cheerio of yours and keep your head from exploding when that $40/day all of a sudden turns into $150/day after the 4th day your beloved chariot sits in impound. I’m glad I was fortunate enough to bail my car out of car jail quickly, but in the process lost an arm and a leg. In this economy? Seriously guys? I know times are tough but I promise the President of mirage doesn’t need another vacation to Thailand via yacht so he can spend all of his hard stolen money on lady-boys.

The guys in the impound lot are great and the lady with short hair, that I dealt with at the desk, was very nice. However while I was there I witnessed a literal screaming match between a customer and the dark haired lady with the glasses who works in the front office. I've been in customer service/food service, for the last 8 years and am now in property management and I have never seen somebody behave the way she did. She was literally screaming and waving her finger at the customer. I get people can be frustrating, trust me I have had my fair share of customers that are difficult and I have been cussed out by many people when I didn't do anything, but to display that level of aggression and lack of self-control is mind blowing to me. After almost 5 minutes of the customer and front desk lady screaming at each other one of the other office ladies ,with blonde hair, had to step in and walk the dark-haired lady into the other part of the room and figure out what was going on. Definitely an interesting experience.

Lady at the front desk was so rude for no reason… I came in being respectful she was rolling her eyes throwing papers around and still had the audacity to say that she was sure my payment would be an issue for me like trying to say I was broke and couldn’t pay for it… never had this experience with any other towing company this person is so unprofessional and immature

This is an okay company and I understand business is business. But they charged us $470 to move a machine 100 feet. That is ridiculous. In reply to this "business" I will have you know that the total time the tow truck was there was 32 minutes. Thats even more of a joke. Unbelievable!! I have a business of my own and if I treated people that poorly I would be SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in a horrible car accident and taken to the hospital. My husband wet to remove all of our belonging from the Tahoe and our weathertech floors were taken. When husband asked the towing company they just shrugged it off. It is illegal to steal from someone’s property and especially from a towing company that should be professional when dealing with customers.

Entire team was great! From dispatcher to Evan Seller our tow truck driver. Evan was 30 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival time and he had to tow us onto Buckley Space Base and drop off our RV at the RV park. Professional, courteous, on time and a smooth safe tow for our fifth wheel RV. Highly recommend this company for your towing needs! Evan is "Top Notch" and a "True Professional" in every sense!

I rarely write negative reviews. However, Mirage deserves some actionable feedback so that they can take efforts to seriously improve. All of my interactions with them over the years have been less than ideal. I understand there are regulations. I understand things happen beyond their control. I understand they have their rules, and presumably for good reasons, some driven by PUC. What I cannot let pass is the extreme rudeness of the administrative/customer service/reception person. Abrupt, poor client-facing demeanor, condescending attitude, and barely able to relay accurate, much less comprehensive, information. The current customer service team is horrible and needs some serious training, or interpersonal therapy perhaps, to address their extreme lack of professionalism and general attitude- further evidenced by the rude and accusatory replies to other reviewers here on Google (Mirage's staff responses/replies). What business responds to customers with such a lack of emotional intelligence, professionalism and a basic decent attitude toward others?! (My comments do not include the truck drivers or yard/backend staff, who have always been appropriate and respectful) I am all about women owned businesses- especially businesses operated in what are typically male dominated industries, but this is clearly an ongoing problem with the company culture and staff training- both on the phone and in person. I realize Mirage doesn't need my business. They largely make their money off of people's bad luck, injury and/or misfortune. But, my lack of a personal tow truck, and a need for their services, should NOT create a "hostage" situation where they act as if they can treat me, or anyone else, with such a lack of kindness and simple courtesy. Your business is not alone in this, unfortunately. But, it's a bad look for you, Mirage. You can do better- we all can.

had a car towed off our property mid week last week with the help of adam’s county sheriff. the police excused us to go inside, so we didn’t see the tow come in. what we did see the next day was that the tow truck successfully ruined our (week old) side yard landscaping, running over the garden edging (and yes, the driveway is big enough to fit a tow that doesn’t require driving onto the landscaping, or we wouldn’t have put any up), and left it without a word. i let the adams county sheriff know & he told us the company name. things happen, but maybe let the owners of the property you damaged know before driving off? my husband bent a lot of the pieces back to their correct(ish) spot, but the first picture is what we woke up to. you can see the continued damage in the far end of the image, where the driver pulled back out of our side yard, along with the tire marks. hopefully they will make this right, but i wasn’t able to connect with anyone by phone.

The front desk lady was very rude, she did not make a clear description of what I needed to do and acted like it was my fault. The people in the back are cool but if I could rate zero stars for the lady at the front desk, I would. Totally unnecessary and not professional at all.

Horrible customer service. Very rude women attending the window. My car got stolen and has very few damage so the women there got very arrogate asking questions as if assuming we did fraud. Fyi our car’s insurance expired a few weeks ago and we didn’t notice until after it was stolen so we were not trying to do any insurance fraud and wouldn’t have gone thru all the trouble we went to just for fun. She kept on repeating saying she was going to get back in contact with police because our car “wasn’t stolen”. Very sad to experience such service after spending the last few days worried, stressed, sad, mad after our only car getting stolen and weeks away from giving birth. EDIT. I got in contact with police and an attorney where both told me she was wrong and doesn’t hold any power to be making those accusations and actually proceed with them. Hope you find better employees because as seen from various other comments it’s a common problem. Responding to your response. Yes the car is Mexican because my MEXICAN husband owns it and he comes and goes to Mexico. Her response was “this isn’t Mexico”, and even tho she was very rude I understand that and went and got the right paperwork. AFTER that she started asking questions once she saw the car had minimal damage that if we were the ones to leave the car where it was found or had an extra key. We stated no and she said she would call the cops because the vehicle “wasn’t stolen”. I got in contact with police who came to my home for evidence that was found in the car and told him what happened, he confimed the car was in fact stolen and that the lady cannot be making those accusations and that nothing will proceed.

I was in an accident yesterday and my car died. I was forced to use this terrible company even though I have road side through my insurance. I was hurt, upset, crying. Dude was like, ya $250 to take you a mile, cars not drivable. Had a different company come out today to tow to yard and he jumped it with the little battery charger thing, which he said pretty much all tow truck drivers carry, and drove it right up onto the tow truck. He said there was no reason for this company to take advantage of me the way they did, except for greed. So if you can avoid this company, I suggest you do. Just greedy, heartless and selfish. RESPONSE TO THEIR SAD RESPONSE: The car was not impeding traffic, the firefighters had pushed it off of the road. And even if that had been an issue, we could've pushed it another few feet into a parking lot. Also, even if that excuse was valid, that doesn't make up for the fact that if you hired decent human beings, he could've helped me reset the gas shut off so I could've driven it home instead of charging me. You know, like the tow truck driver the next day did within 3 minutes.

The unapologetic and inconsiderate office staff. Did nothing but give me a nasty attitude for trying to get my stolen truck out. Which I was never able to retrieve from them. They do whatever they can to keep your vehicle just to sell it at auction and pocket the money. They have an exemption from prosecution to steal people's cars. My truck was stolen once the police finally found it. They handed it over to the real thieves.

Today was a special one, because Driver Shawn/Sean was so kind, patient, and professional with me, when I got super upset and lost my temper because my Jeep had disappeared. I guess they are doing some major construction in the 80218 area, because City and County of Denver towed my entire block. I've never seen anything like it. This is the second time in several weeks that they've done this. So Mirage is just doing what the city is asking of them; and it wasn't towed far, only up the street (could be so much worse.) I asked Sean if I could shake his hand and he accepted my apology. I called Mirage in tears to apologize, and the woman who answered was so kind and sweet, and I could hardly believe driver walked in right after and she relayed my compliments. We wished each other a Happy Holidays and I felt a ton of bricks off my heart. This kindness is what this world needs more than ever. Awesome composure sir! Nichol Widga

I was there yesterday in the afternoon to retrieve my husband's stolen vehicle. I was anticipating it to be a difficult experience, but nothing could be further from the truth. The women at the front window were VERY courteous, friendly, and understanding! The wait time wasn't long at all either. The gentlemen in the back, also very nice! We were in and out in under 30 minutes!

For a tow company/impound lot these people were way better than most I’ve dealt with in the past. Bobbie was friendly and straight to the point with everything I needed and although she didn’t know the answer to one question I had she got an answer promptly from someone else. I spoke to someone on the phone named Jerry who was a little aggressive but she also gave me all the information I requested and made sure I understood what paperwork to bring in to get the vehicle released. Sure the fees they charge are the city max but that’s the same thing every company does. I’m just happy they were prompt with letting me get my vehicle out and didn’t give me any more grief during an already stressful time from my wife being hit by an uninsured motorist. I hope I never have to come back here but I have no complaints.

My son and I were on our way home from the airport and we had a tire blowout. It was pretty scary because the cars on Pena Blvd. are going at least 65+ miles per hour. Luckily there was room to pull over to call for assistance. Marcel was so awesome! He pulled over right behind us and without question, came to change our tire. He was very nice and such a personable guy! Great customer service and such a blessing to us! We truly appreciate him and wish there were more great people like him out there! Keep up the awesome work Marcel!

One of the ladys are nice and understanding and the rest i could assume are tied of dealing with b.s.! Yard guys are great and helpful. Driver was awesome! Cost me one arm and half a leg for mirage tow my car! (I was not injured.) Dude was at fault no insurance.

Very unprofessional this business needs reevaluation from the top to the bottom. My car got towed on Friday. I went to get my car out on Saturday they were closed. I went to get my car out on Monday they were closed. Absolutely had no choice but to get my car out on Tuesday when they're finally open. And they had the nerve to charge me for Saturday and Monday. Very bad for business playing out highway robbery. Like it was my fault they were closed. It didn't even start snowing until Saturday after business hours. Monday was shut down because of the snow storm. And they still had the audacity to charge me for their incompetence. Then the lady at the window takes my information my paperwork and forgets to even return it and she was very rude and very unprofessional. Then it took them 25 minutes just to get my car up front. Mirage recovery service by far the worst towing company on this side of the Mississippi. First of all they need to get somebody in there with good people skills with good communication and customer service skills. And they need to be honest and fair and not to be thieves.
