Kind of slow for 9 pallets to unload, took them an hour and half to finish, their yard full of debris and bolts on the ground, be careful drivers, watch out for your tires… Second time around, my driver spent more than 6 hours for loading Very bad….

Very friendly fast check in. Quick loading. It’s a little tight backing to a dock or 2 but over all a great place to load.

I recently visited this recycling facility after calling ahead to inquire about copper pricing. Based on the information I was given over the phone by a staff member, I was led to believe that the copper I had would be priced between $1.80 and $4.60 per pound. However, after weighing in and receiving my receipt, I noticed that the price per pound was not displayed — something I’ve never experienced at other recycling centers, which typically provide clear breakdowns. When I went inside to collect payment, I was surprised to find that I was paid only $0.18 and $0.81 per pound for the copper. I expressed my concern to the staff member behind the counter, mentioning the prices I was quoted over the phone. His response was simply that I could take my copper back if I wasn’t satisfied. While there were a few employees who were helpful, the overall experience was disappointing. Many of the individuals I interacted with were unprofessional, dismissive, and at times rude. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this facility based on my experience, primarily due to the lack of transparency and poor customer service.

Average prices and a little out of the way but great place to offload metal and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Used to take scrap here back in 2017 when I lived in Denver. Great place at the time. Was organized and was also close to my job.

Google maps says you’re open. Gate is closed. Nobody answered the phone. Update your hours and add to your voicemail.

Drivers…check in to office first, they’ll give you a ticket, then you get on scale. They’ll take your ticket, then assign you a dock. There are 6 docks…NOT a fast load, incredibly slow… then go back on scale. Extremely busy…going on 4 hrs and not yet fully loaded.

I hate coming here because it is so small, extremely tight manveurs to get around and its always busy. But today I stopped here for a pick up and was told to go wait down the street for a call. I noticed they had food trucks out front near the office so walked back for some tacos. Recieved my order asking how much and the workers told me "no charge. The company paid". Guess they paid for lunch today for all the workers. Nice treat. Very grateful trucker here!

These guys overstuff their trucks with no net on top and covered the highway in trash. Lazy business with no consideration for other drivers on the road and spread trash all over the highway so they can pack their trucks full to make an extra buck.

One of the best Paying scrap yards if not the best on the front range. I strongly encourage everyone to take their stuff here as youll likely make the most money for your efforts. They are paying almost a dollar more per pound vs the surrounding scrap yards. Go ahead and do your research and you'll see I'm correct.

Scales are wrong they add weight to your empty so they can pay you less than you should have made

Over the phone prices where different. Than when we got there. Over phone they said $1.32 a pound. One we got there it was more than 15 cents different because we didn't have 1000 pounds. Also we recycled some coax wire and they said coax is steel. But coax is copper as well.. avoid this scam place. Just go to Denver metal recycling they won't Change prices on you..

This company is burning plastic off the wire in the morning's at around 5 am to 7 am. The EPA should shut this place down. He's violating the law bad. I see it every morning and have to cover my damn face to breathe.

I took in a complete condenser and furnace with some small peices of tin and received 2 dollars. This place is a ripoff. Don't take your scrap there. The scale read that I had over 300lb of metal and for 2 dollars. Something is not right with them.

Was extremely disappointed with the amount of money I received for the amount of copper that I had.. I've been to other places and they've given me a lot more this will be the last time I ever go there again.

Be ready to wait for a least 2 hours to unload. I've waited 6+ hours to unload. The 2 girls in the office are cool. The yard is completely out of control. They are overwhelmed with material, more than they can handle it seems. Poorly coordinated and no communication. This place is ridiculous!!

An amazing place full of friendly people. If you need to bring things to be recycled this is where to go. Pull into the scale then drive around and drop off. Pull back onto the scale then go inside for your card to get money from their ATM. It's easy as pie. Thank you Rocky Mountain Recycling!

After waiting 3 hours (person to operate the machinery was on "lunch break" ) all the teenagers working there were completely clueless as to what was going on. They tell us they can't pay us because their system is down. So we will either need to come back or give them our information to send us a check. After calling to give them our address and verify the rest of our information they said we would have to drive all the way back to get paid. Long story short they tried to get out of paying us. These people are not helpful. Go somewhere else for your scrap metal.

4 and 1/2 stars because they had some of the coolest machines and it was well kept and cleaned up from debris. I'm docking them on stars because no one spoke English and I don't speak Spanish.

Super fast and friendly. I was surprised that I had to dump out my cans after they were weighted, but I assume thats because of the pandemic (which makes sence). But other than that, fast and friendly people.

I was there for 1 hour, drop off my normal cans. Got $35 last trip, they gave me $1 and change. I left the money in the parking lot, some needs that more then me! Will never go there again!!!!!!!

It took them 3 hours and 40 minutes to load my truck. Use caution maneuvering through the lot, it's very crowded and full of tire poppers. Bilingual people may have an easier time communicating with the workers than I did. My Spanish was less than adequate.

I've been using this place for ten years, and greatly appreciate the service. They are fairly efficient and easy to get to, and their prices are usually pretty competitive.

Maybe it used to be great but every time I have gone it has been a horrible experience. I own an AV company and have lots of scrap wires and metal brackets. I keep them separated but yet every time I go here the lazy and rude employees try to pass me to a different section with lame excuses that change every time. It's like no one here wants to work!!! Today I had the displeasure of dealing with Abraham who is the most arrogant and rude individual I have ever dealt with. I finally have had enough and went to the office to talk to a manager about how bad the service is and waited almost an hour to "Toby" who never showed. I will never go back to this place again and will spread the word to avoid Rocky Mountain Recycling every chance I get!

I sent my driver in with 300 lbs of mixed yellow brass, copper, stainless steel and iron and he came back with $10.50. I took less material to Cutting Edge a few months ago and got $71.00. I called and they said we got in the wrong line, so we got paid 3.5 cents per pound for brass and copper that is more like $1.47/lb--but nobody told us when we unloaded a bunch of copper pipe and valves that we were in the wrong line. Try getting $1.47/lb for steel, by getting in the wrong line, and I bet they tell you to go to the correct line. Receptionist was friendly, but she said he got in the wrong line. However, my driver went in the office and they directed him to that line, nobody asked him what type of metal he had.

Having never recycled any metals before I was a little leery about the whole process. However, the good folks at Rocky Mountain Recycling walked me through what to do with some old appliances and copper pipe I had. Everyone from the guy I talked to on the phone about prices, to the guys that processed my material to the girl who paid me were all really friendly and knowledgeable. I walked out of there with a smile on my face and $150 in my pocket from stuff that I would have otherwise had to pay to get rid of at the dump!
