Always like coming here to drop off scrap metal. The process is easy and the staff is very helpful!

Great prices for aluminum cans and other random scrap metal you may have. One thing I would like to see changed is how you get your money. There's no parking for the cashier. Once you get there, you only get your change. To get the paper bills, you have to take a different receipt and scan it at an ATM elsewhere. Other than how you get your money, this is a good place to get your money's work of aluminum cans and other metals.

Great simple recycling for metal. Pull up on the scale and weight in. Drive to main drop-off area and unload. Drive back onto the scale and they provide a paper receipt. Use the receipt at proprietary ATM to get paid. Super fast process.

These guys are top notch! I come here all the time, and even tho they may not be open as late as the others, they pay top price, and the people who work there are always professional and helpful and pleasant. if I have a lot of stuff or it's super heavy, they are gentlemen And help me get it to the scale

This place was not very friendly as a new person. I came in with over 350lbs of copper and a couple thousand pounds of steel. I told them I needed to take the copper off first. They didn't listen and made me do the steel first. I had to unload then reload 350lbs of copper. Then I was not directed where to go or what to do and had to guess where to put my steel. Every single scrap yard I have ever been to pays me separately for tin coated #2 copper and yellow #1 copper. They refused to pay me separately and threw about 75 lbs of #1 in with my #2 to make easy on them!! I don't think I will be returning

I owe a huge apology to everyone at Atlas for my previous review. I didn't understand how they operate and unfairly reviewed them before. They resolved this with me patiently and professionally. Great place and people. Sorry, Atlas, and thank you!

Total scam artists. Tried paying me $7 for an entire truck load of copper. When I went and complained they admitted the scales were "broken" but printed me out a receipt and took the copper anyway. I took the copper back even though they said I could not. I took it to another recycle place and was paid $680 dollars. My friend had a very similar experience there a month ago and it most certainly was not a different company. Nice try. If you don't have records of it then your records are as flawed as your scales. My account here is my real name just like my license says. I even took pictures of the employees as they all found my experience hilarious to them. Keep denying I was there and I'll post the pics!

We come here very often, and the staff is incredibly nice, and we have never had any issues with pricing being off. We drive 45 minutes out of the way to go to this specific location. These negative reviews I do not believe to be this location. For as many times as my husband and I come here, I would have experienced something negative by now, and I haven't.

I went and no one wanted to talk to me or tell me what to do. And when I finally did ask the boy for help, he didn't even look at me and then raised his voice at me as if I was dumb. I didn't know what to do as it was my first time there. The employees acted as if i should have known what to do. I don't see myself going back there.

Atlas metals is a great place to drop off aluminum cans. I have a recycling bin for aluminum cans at my home. Roughly two times per year, I take my recycling bin to Atlas metals in my car. Atlas paid me $7.20 for my big bin that was full. My bin was about half of the volume of a typical household kitchen refrigerator. My bin had 15 pounds of cans. I never pay money for the trash company to recycle cans that people drink out of inside of my house. It is a 15 minutes drive to Atlas metals twice a year and they pay me seven bucks each time.

I have gone to many scrap yards across the Denver metro area, and by far this is the worst one i have been to. If you have any questions for the people that work there, they make you feel ignorant for asking. And i feel as though they missweighed my scrap. I scrap to supplement my income and have done this for years, this is the worst place i have been to yet.

This place is always great. They do get busy at times, but we are usually in and out quickly. What is a downer, and not their fault, they do get a few idiots going through. The business itself does a terrific job.

That was an interesting visit today. I drove in as the arrows indicated and was instructed to pull forward, then stopped. Then I waited as multiple employees looked at me and went about their business. Finally Jesus asked what I needed. I pointed to the back and said I have three buckets (copper and brass) can you take them. Long story shirt he weighed them and gave a voucher. Other than unusually long wait it was a fairly good experience.

This was my first time here though my husband had been here a few times. Gabe was the person who helped me and he was very nice and informative. Helped unload and sort since I didn't do it quite right and didn't act like it was a burden to do so. Will definitely be back. I would say payout is definitely fair.

It was very quick and the guy that helped me was very responsive and on top of things. Seemed he knew the flow of everything and was a very friendly individual. The process was quick and smooth and I got the price before I turned in my copper and it stayed that price after I turned in my copper.

Definitely pays the most in town as far as Ive experienced, sometimes by relatively quite a bit. Most of the employees (with the exception of one bad apple although luckily I dont seem to encounter very often) are really friendly, helpful and unlike pretty much anywhere else they'll actually take the time to educate you on sorting and ultimately getting the highest payouts. Will absolutely pick Atlas Aurora every time without hesitation!

El servicio es bien rapido, los precios son bajos Service is really fast but the prices are pretty low, but hey is not gold what they buy

Decent spot to "trade in" your metal. They seem fair and offer competitive compensation. The first time you visit though, can be quite confusing of how to navigate thru their simple metal-drop-off-area and use the scale. But I have recognized the area your tires drive upon, is regularly kept clear so no shards of metal would puncture your tires.

BEWARE, Awful prices. Current prices should be posted!! You have no idea what you’ll get until your stuff gets weighed and you go to the cashier to collect, they give you dimes on the dollar. Brought in 160lb worth of high quality steel (8 brake rotors) and an AC Compressor, got $5.60. Should’ve got around $10 for the rotors alone. Fine if you dont have much stuff and just want it recycled instead of sending it to a dump but there are places that will give you more if you have a substantial amount of material.

Nasty, rude workers. My wife brought in the exact same amount of copper one week as I did the week following. Hers weighed 28 lbs while mine weighed 12. Lol the guy tried arguing with me so in my wife went the next week and again she was given a weight of 21 lb(not quite the 28lbs) but I was given a weight of 11 lbs the next week . They're constantly lying and cheating People. And the rudeness you'll encounter here is second to none.

I decided to give a different recycling facility a try. I was greeted with respect upon arrival; however, that respect slowly declined as the visit went on. The unloading process was slow. I had a lot of different scrap metals, but still slower than what it is at other recycling facilities in the area. The process of reviewing my cash was also very tedious. But worst of all, prices were quite awful—only 70% of what I am used to. I will not return, and I advise to check out other recycling yards I'm the general area...

I don't understand the bad reviews on here. Maybe they were different in the past, or maybe the reviewers don't know much about scrap metal and how to sort etc... Maybe they don't understand that the scrapyard is actually a customer since you are selling to them not the reverse. The people there are great! They pay much higher than another yard I had been going to almost exclusively in the past. I would have made so much more $ if I had been going here to begin with. They pay the most for non-ferrous like copper and aluminum of any yard I have sold to so far. So much more that I find it difficult to sell my non-ferrous to anyone else. I take my ferrous there as well. The one and only drawback is that they only have one vehicle scale so make sure you arrange your schedule to spend some time there because if it's crowded it can take a while, not because of the staff, but because they only have one large scale and they are a small - but very clean and organized yard.

Terrible took 1000 pounds of number 2 insulated copper in there. After i had dumped the wire with no help they only gave me 64cents a pound and blamed trump for how low the price of copper was. Should of called around never been ripped off so bad.

I have been here before and there is a line of vehicles once in a while, but the line does move quickly. Missing one star due to my speculation that the scales are not accurate. I would like to see a digital number on a scale when taking in aluminum cans.

The bad reviews seem to be from people who expect to strike gold recycling and are bitter about it. I frequently use Wise for all sorts of material and have none of the problems described. Yeah a Saturday may be busy but never longer that 20mins. For seeming understaffed the workers are always pleasant, some are pretty friendly and focused on moving people along. No need to go anywhere else.

Good experience in the past until today, have almost 200 lbs of aluminum can, 3 guys just walked around. Asking for helps and being told it is self- service and I have to rip the bags and pour into the scale (with the tall cage on it ) by myself. Called the manager to making sure if it have been changed from the full service to the self service recycle buying. Nobody answer, the voice mail is full. It is very abnormal for any business without clear policy how to manage it.
