CARSTAR City Autobody has been my go to body shop for many years. They are always courteous, professional, honest, and they do great work! I highly recommend them!

CARSTAR was great at repairing my car and excellent at giving updates frequency. Their staff is very helpful and professional. I highly recommend their Auto Body Repair and the expert service they provide!

They restored my car to factory condition after an accident and it looked beautiful. It looked brand new. They even finished it ahead of schedule.

CarStar was absolutely fabulous to work with. Not only did they fix the bumper dent and it looked brand new, but they fixed a poor auto body job done on the front bumper like brand new too. They completed the work in the quoted time and communicated through the whole process to give us updates and any changes. We could not be happier with them and will recommend them to everyone!!

CARSTAR city Auto Body has been all I could ask in professionalism and quality workmanship. From getting the estimate all the way to completion , I was met with daily updates on my car repair. All the staff I had the pleasure of working with were friendly and if I had questions, were answered immediately whether by phone or text. When my car was returned, not only was the repair beautiful, but as I stepped into my vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised on how clean the interior was even though I only had work done on the exterior. All the dust, crumbs caught in between the seat, cup holders etc was clean like when I first bought the vehicle. It was as if my whole car had also been detailed along with the bumper being fixed.

CARSTAR City Auto Body made a great experience out of a not so great experience. A little fender bender happened, and CARSTAR was an authorized Kia repair shop. I received daily updates of when my car would be done. It went a few days past the original return date, but again, they kept me well informed and I appreciated that most of all. Everyone at CARSTAR is super nice, professional and knowledgeable!

I wish I can give this place negative stars. I originally went to this place because my insurance recommended them. If I would of known the headaches this shop would bring I would've NEVER stepped near here. I picked my car up at 4:30pm (they close at 5) once I got my service done by them... I was happy... or so I thought... so I was blasting my music on my way out. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the plastic part under my car was DRAGGING the WHOLE WAY back home because the technicians were too lazy or untrained to do so much as a double-check on my car (this is something you notice the first time) I of course had to wait until the next day to contact them... leaving me unable to use my car for the rest of the evening therefore losing income. After going back & forth with this shop countless times (the manager is ANOTHER review but I'll keep it civil) I am still paying the consequences of taking my car to this shop. I've noticed little things months AFTER taking my car to this shop & I would love to have these items in my car fixed but I would hate to come back to this place!! I'm gonna have to pay out of pocket for this shops negligence on my vehicle. Do yourself a favor & DO NOT COME HERE.

Everything about my experience was great here. I loved that they already had seamless processes in place with the rental car company and the insurance company. I went out of town while my vehicle was being repaired and didn't have to worry about anything. Updates from Tony and staff, came via text although I could always call if I had immediate concerns, which there were none. My parents owned a very well known and respected paint and body shop over the years so I was a little nervous venturing out to someone new. Tony was great answering all my questions and concerns even the crazy ones. City Auto's painter was incredible. He feathered in the paint so well you can't see where the old vs new paint meets. I had an existing, small blemish on my paint near the damaged site and they went above and beyond and got that too. I had some add-ons like my chrome trim wrapped in black and it looks better than my original wrap. My car came back cleaner than when I left it too! Thanks everyone for a great experience. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I are very pleased with the work of CARSTAR on the roof repainting and clay bar treatment on our 2013 Camry. Looks new again! The office personnel were the best from start to finish. I highly recommend CARSTAR!

I must say, Carstar is the most fresh breath of service and utmost professionalism in my most recent experiences with court house process to health insurance process , car insurance and a few more….it was overwhelming to be patient and endure. Each one, customer svc became delay tactics, cancel/reschedule…..my point is this Carstar delivered with nothing but good old fashion svc and so much kindness. Unbelievably rude, patronizing, insulting and indignant attitude was all I received on a recent initial visit here. Had a severely damaged car repaired here over 15 years ago and was treated w/ professional courtesy and the work was top notch. Now, I understand that the son has assumed the business from his father. Not the same place. My experience couldn’t have been worse. When I requested a ballpark estimate of costs the response was, “Why do you care? It’s an insurance claim and you’re only gonna be out of pocket for the deductible.” Are you kidding me? I was floored this was coming from the Manager in the front office. He gave me no idea of cost whatsoever, no useful information. He then pushed me for an answer regarding choosing them to move forward on my claim. I told him I’d need a day or two to get back to him. He asked me, “Why?” I responded I was going to speak with one or two other shops. He asked, “Why would you need to do that?” My response: “Because it’s a good idea to do a little diligence when making the decision. It’s just good common sense.” His response, “Well, you’re thinking back 20 years ago and things aren’t done like that anymore.” Are you kidding me? From that moment forward, our exchange was less than cordial. Still can’t believe that this “MANAGER?” actually speaks to potential customers. City Auto Body? Never again if my life depended on it. Fantastic experience. From the people at reception to the estimator, Sarah, this company is very organized and very professional. Sarah communicated with the insurance company. She let me know that there may be additional damage which was found. Replacement parts were ordered in a very timely manner. The work was completed faster than expected. Overall, extremely positive experience and highly recommended business.

I needed a side view mirror replaced. As soon as the part came and they called me and scheduled for an install. It was done in a couple hours. Plus l asked them to buff out a little something on my bumper and they did a great job-no charge. I'm an extremely happy customer! I would highly recommend CARSTAR!

Going to auto body shop is never a good experience. With the stress of insurance and dealing with out your car. This is why I give City Auto Body 5 stars. I have had the pleasure of working with this company for almost 40 years. My current "wreck" came back to us in better than BRAND NEW condition and under time budget by a week. I had my car repaired with them last year and was treated fair and they did a fantastic job! So I decided to go back to get my lock fixed. It was seamless and service was exceptional and they made sure it was affordable for me. As a matter of fact, I need to go back and have them check my headlights. Recommend this place to anyone. I brought my 2019 4Runner in after a deer collision, and the entire repair experience was smooth and stress-free thanks to the team here—especially Jim, who was amazing throughout the process. Jim kept me updated at every step, explained things clearly, and made sure the repairs were done with care and attention to detail. The shop worked directly with my insurance and went above and beyond to ensure the car was restored properly using high-quality factory parts. The car looks and drives like new again. This shop clearly takes pride in doing honest, top-tier work. I wouldn’t hesitate to return if I ever need repairs in the future.

Had to take my vehicle here for insurance work and the paint job had a lot of shortcuts. Missed a ton of chips in the paint that instead of being corrected had clear coat sprayed over it, specks of what looks like sand stuck to the paint, they sand through the clear coat in some areas, and whoever detailed the vehicle left it so beat up it looked like a car that when through a machine car wash a 1000 times. The manager tried to convince me when I first noticed it that it was just dust from it sitting in the parking lot for a day. This guy should not be managing an auto body shop since he knows nothing about paint. Run far away from this place.

This is the second time I've taken a car here and had nothing but excellent work and service done. Before it was body repairs this time is was a new bumper and lip. They painted and blended both onto the car and I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. Would highly recommend taking any needed body work here.

Jim's team at Carstar City Auto Body in Simi Valley are AMAZING! The professionalism and curtesy of the team members was top notch. My Corvette was fixed and returned to its original perfection, Thank you Jim. I would recommend to anyone needing Auto Body work or a new paint job to go and see for yourself.

My car was unfortunately scratched up a few weeks ago, and before the offenders insurance reached out with a list of body shops they were contracted with my dad recommended this place to get an estimate and was pleased with how clean and professional everyone here was, and was pleasantly surprised when this shop was on the partnered list. Everything went smoothly, they worked well with Enterprise when I came in to drop my car off and get my rental, and not only was the work was done pretty fast, they cleaned my car very well! Hopefully I never have to come to a body shop again but if I do, wouldn’t mind coming back here at all.

Took me car in to Jim the GM and hes the best in the business. I will forever take my cars to this location. Amazing work. They did a beyond great job i cant say enough good things. 10/10
