We had an excellent experience buying a car from YC Honda! This dealership is easily accessible, right off of Highway 99, and has amazing customer service. It was a pleasure working with Jonathan and Dennis, who were attentive and straight-shooters. The process was easy and no stress, and having the car delivered by Jonathan was a huge help with our busy schedules. We love our Pilot and highly recommend doing business with Yuba City Honda.

I was at Yuba City Honda today after speaking with a salesperson (Woody) over the phone yesterday. I called about a specific VIN number they had in stock, made a price offer of 26k and after speaking to the sales manager Woody called me back to confirm they could meet that 26k offer. Having bought a lot of cars (and knowing all the standard tricks) I asked him to confirm that 26k was the real price and the only number besides TTL that would be written on the contract. I specifically mentioned I wanted to make sure there were not any dealer added options like tracking or window etching etc that I was going to show up and find out can't be removed from the vehicle. He told me nope, come on down. It was a very clear conversation. When I arrived the next day the same sales manager and a different salesperson presented me with a contract that included $1167 of dealer added options and they refused to remove them. The sales manager at first told me I was wrong and that the salesman did not tell me what he told me over the phone. He apparently knew this because he was standing there listening to one side of the conversation. After some discussion and his realization that I'm smart and articulate he seems to realize that I was correct and clear about what I had been told and said he would talk to the salesman.
I walked out and did not buy the car and they did not offer any other concessions or follow up with any phone call (as of yet). I did tell them to expect a negative review. This will be CC'd to Honda.Jan 26, 2026 -

I scheduled a service appointment online through your website and received a confirmation email. When I checked in, the front desk staff said they could not find my appointment in the system. I showed the confirmation email, but they were still unable to locate the reservation. After some discussion, they agreed to proceed with the service.
This experience was confusing and concerning. I am not sure whether this was a system issue or a breakdown in the check-in process, but it raised questions about reliability and consistency at the front desk. I hope this feedback helps prevent similar situations for future customers.Dec 24, 2025 -
As far as i understand it this Honda is franchised and not corporate ran... and im def. Feeling the close knit, warm, and cozy franchise love...bought my 1st civic here in 2019... i wish i would have bought my 2nd civic here... i plan to buy my 3rd car here though... looking forward to it... I've never received a cold reception here ;)

Best sales and finance team I've ever experienced at a car dealership, hands down!
Shopped almost 50 dealerships in Northern California for a Civic Type R, these guys crushed it!
Woody, my sales rep, answered every quote question I had, promptly, in full detail with one email, no back and forth games at all!
Gave me a price I couldn't refuse, showed up to the dealership shortly thereafter, again, no games, no bait and switch, totally professional, wife and I had coffee and hot chocolate, signed papers promptly, headed into finance.
The gentleman in finance, Dennis, same candor, no games, no pressure, no upsells, answered all my questions with complete transparency, couldn't have been a better transaction!
I almost never write reviews, but when someone does their job great, it's definitely worth sharing and letting everybody know! I absolutely recommend this dealership, have already shared my experiences with family and friends, and will definitely be recommending them to everyone who's in need of any sort of Honda sales or services.

The service counter staff were friendly and courteous. They explained that my backup camera will be replaced, which I appreciated. I would have liked a clearer rundown of what was done to my vehicle during this visit.
The waiting area needs attention. Several vinyl seats are torn and the space does not feel inviting. Refreshments are limited to a do it yourself Keurig with only hot drinks. A small refrigerator with chilled options like soda or flavored seltzer would help, along with basic repairs and a refresh of the seating.
From the waiting area you can see directly into an office, and I observed a staff member playing on a cell phone for an extended period. As a customer that reads as unprofessional. A partial privacy wall would prevent that view and improve the experience for everyone.
Overall the visit was workable thanks to the friendly counter team, but the waiting area and communication could be improved. I hope to see these updates next time.Nov 05, 2025 -
Quick and easy to schedule a service appt online. Check in quick and easy with R at the service desk,, who was very friendly and professional. Service done in less time then quoted and even got a free car wash!

It was near the end of our battery's life so we went to our dealer to get a new battery. They performed a test and discovered the battery had failed and put in a new one under warranty! Amazing and honest!

I wanted to give a big huge shoutout to Manuel J! Our family has been coming here since I could remember and he’s been a pure gem ever since; even when I was younger and not driving yet. I would come with my dad or brothers and he’d always be so helpful and so nice. Now, I’ve also been coming for every oil change since I got my first car and am still having such a great experience mainly because of Manuel and his personality. He remembers us every time, catches up with us, he feels like a close friend not just an employee there. I wanted to share this because he is the reason we give this place 5 stars and the reason we keep coming back. You’re amazing Manuel!

went to change my oil and to get my recall fixed, they call me about 3 hours later asking me to come back so i can take my 5 year old girls car/booster seat out because apparently not one guy in there is a father or knows how to remove a car seat. bunch of rude/lazy/uneducated people wasting my time. especially that manny jimenez guy, dude was hella rude to my father who only speaks spanish. Please train your employees to take out a car seat and to be nicer.

Amazing experience, purchased a new vehicle (HR-V) and was done in a much shorter amount of time than expected. Wonderful service from all departments, highly recommend and will definitely go back again when the time comes!

The service department is literally miserable, good luck to get in touch with them through phone calls and when visited for service of the vehicle they will send you back to home even if it takes a hour to fix the vehicle. The tall guy at the service desk won’t listen to the problem being shared but will tell you we will run diagnostics even if another dealership had already diagnosed the problem.

Zero stars if I would, I went to look and see about purchasing a 2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring this past sunday and a salesman came outside proceeded to ask me if I wanted to look at anything. I asked if I was able to see about how much I can qualify for because I am a first time car buyer. He then told me “well why would we run your credit if you don’t plan on proceeding with your purchase”? I assumed they didn’t want to do business with me from the start given this employees demeanor. Ended up leaving and going to Ford Geweke where they took good care of me and were WAY friendlier in every aspect with WAY better pricing. Worst experience as a first time buyer here and will warn people to stay away from this dealer because of that employee. Can see why there is not much foot traffic as well.

Yuba City Honda has had wonderful customer service and they honored my warranties. Thank you for taking great care of my Accord Sport since I bought it in 2017! It’s nice to have good service to rely on. I was able to trade it in for a new 2025 CRV which better suited my current needs.

I went to Honda because the plastic that holds my key in place broke. They tried to charge me nearly $300 insisting I had to get a whole new key and that it had to be reprogrammed or something. Just because the plastic broke. The key/buttons/battery worked perfectly.
I go on Amazon and buy this key fob replacement for $6. Fix it in less than 5 minutes myself and it still works great.
I know companies have to make their money but $300 for $6 fix is insane.May 03, 2025 -
Loyal customer with YC Honda for a long time. The service department reps are always friendly and straightforward with you. I like that. Being professional is important to me when receiving a service. Yuba City Honda Service Advisors do not disappoint.
Today, May 20th, came in for an A15 service for an oil change.
However, he showed me my tires that were in desperate need of replacing.
After doing some quick price searching in the waiting room, decided to go with the tires there.
All great!
The car was ready earlier than estimated which was nice.
Disappointed
However, one thing did disappoint me. When I went to open my car door, it was filthy and had fingerprints all around the door handle and it felt grimy and greasy. Not good. It was close to closing time so did not go back in to let them know. I did not expect a car wash, I understand, but to me, this is just unacceptable.
