This is my second time coming here and I always have a good experience with this man who helps me with my car . I can tell he likes to make sure his customers are happy and I'm very happy with his quality of work

My car broke down on my drive home from Humboldt County to Orange County (12 hour drive) when I was about halfway there, and I was left completely stranded in a place I did not know. I called Martinez Auto Garage and they said to have the car towed to them right away, and that they would do everything they could to get it up and running for us. They took time out of their already busy day to work on my car, and determined my car was not safe for me to continue driving that day. While I figured out a new way home, the Martinez’s made sure I felt safe and welcome, treating my girlfriend and I like family. They offered us a ride to a motel and told us to call back if we needed anything while we waiting for our new ride. After leaving Newman, the Martinez’s held on to my car for several weeks while I was down south, and had it fixed for me when I needed to head back to Humboldt. They truly were the only good part of a very very bad day for us. I will be forever grateful I took my car here, and I will never forget the kindness they shared with me.

First things first I would like to thank this shop owner for his patience and dedication to my vehicle, several shops were not able to find out the electrical problem it was having and polo Martinez did his thing! Never gave up and got my truck back running A1 again! Highly recommend this shop go stop by and see for yourselves 💯

We were traveling out of town when our truck broke down from the transmission and we found this family owned shop. They were very helpful and did not charged us very much.

The Experience that I have had at this shop has been by far the best Ive ever had they are very friendly and helpful were very grateful because they go above and beyond to try to help as much as they can to solve the issue your vehicle is having they are also very trustworthy and knowledgeable I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a mechanic thank you guys for all the help !

While driving through Newman from out of town, we started to have transmission issues. We saw Martinez Automotive from the Main Street and pulled in. We told Polo the issues that we were having and that we were on a trip to meet family. He took the time to put our truck on the lift to see if he could diagnose the issue. He was able to determine that we were low on transmission fluid. He topped off and took it on a test drive. He went out of his way to help us so we could get back on the road for our family vacation. We are so appreciative! We were able to spend time a nice time chatting with his wife while we waited. Thank you again!

It's hard to trust an auto place when it's your first time needing work done. This place is 10000% honest and upfront about what they know they can/can't do. If they don't feel confident in your type of car, they say so and can recommend where to go instead. They're willing to help when needed (even if you drop a tool in your engine replacing your own battery - they'll help you out with a smile) and just have great customer service overall. Don't hesitate, go talk to them anytime.

The Owner and Mechanic of the shop is amazing! I was told by numerous other shops that the part for my vehicle was going to cost me an arm and a leg! Not only did they give me a great price but they also had my vehicle up and running in no time! Definitely recommend
