Pulled right up as directed. Got clear concise directions as to where to go. Placed recycling into the bins. A gentleman came and took the barrels over to the weighing station, he gave us the amount that we would receive. They cut a check and we were out of there probably in less than 15 minutes total. They only pay by check. Remove caps from plastic bottles and crush them. My friend pointed out that this recycle area was tidy and didn't have the foul odors normally associated with bottle recycles. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Check the website for hours of operation before going. If I can find the link I will add it to the review.

They close at 10:50 am for lunch, not at 11 am. They won’t help you, if you show up at 10:50 am. They need to update the sign for the times they actually work and for when they are really open. It is an inconvenience to local people trying to recycle and use this facility.
Plenty of cans for your separated recycling. Line goes quick, payout is in the form of a check. Only one complaint, where the plastic bottles are concerned, they require you to remove all the lids from the water bottles, and if you have a lot of recyclables, this could take some time.
Very well organized. Staffed to efficiently move customers through process expeditiously. Assistance provided as necessary. Questions answered by well trained staff. No one is pressuring you to move faster than you do but very willing to assist. All in all the best experience at any recycling center! Will be nice when they resume Saturday hours post pandemic.
Ben there more than five times, always pay diferent,always check the weight before get there.
Don't bring big amounts of recycling, they steal you at the end.
They don't want you see the weight machine,and they take fast the bins away.

The most professional and well kept recycling facility in vallejo..many residents probably don't know its there and suffer with the one across town at Broadway and 37 which often is a madhouse..hopefully folks will read this and know that there's an option...
Very organized just busy so if on a time limit make sure to check how busy they are or give yourself some extra time just in case.usually in n out tho only once I was stuck waiting.they answer there phone too.
Good recycling place. They are always polite, usher you through the recycling process to get you in and out despite tight parking. Clothes donation and paper shredding too ($).
What I love most about this place is all the employees were super friendly and helpful, The gentleman informed us of the various policies before we entered the center in case we needed a turn around, luckily we didn't. They have a 100lb. limit on glass and aluminum combined, and if it's over that amount they won't give you a refund at all. Luckily we had about 65 pounds in the back of a pick up truck. Another thing to note is that they pay you in a check form, not cash.
I love that its so close, and the people there are friendly and helpful. I dont like that I have to take lids off, especially if theyre gonna take them anyway
All the guys are very helpful respectful and friendly.
I have been there 4 times and it is always a good experience.
The guys are fast and always call me MAM. I never considered my a MAM but that's ok it's all about being polite.

I wish I found/went here a long time ago. I had been going to the places behind grocery stores and dreaded going to recycle. This place is well managed and operated. It can be confusing when you go for the first time. There are two loops inside the area. The inside is for loading your recyclables into cans, they will get you all the cans you need. Outside is for moving to an inside spot and getting out. Before you come to speed it all up do the following:
CRV plastic separate out and remove caps they will take the caps too.
They take most other plastics too, just don't pay for them.
Separate your CRV glass by color.
They take paper as well and offer other services.
They pay by check only, so factor that into the equation.
Regular visits recycling cans and bottles. Plus we pick out paperbacks which are free
Love to bring back the books we have read and pick out new ones...
Very helpful staff! The value if my recycled bottles and cans was less than I expected, though. I received more for my recycled bottles and cans previously.
People can be rude as hell here. I guess your just expected to know the routine of the place and if you don't. You get sent to the back of the line so your not wasting anybody precious time. Cuz your time don't matter if you don't know what your doing so if it's your first time going. Choose somewhere else unless you have all day to know waiting in line if you mess up. And then they may just not want to weigh your stuff anymore and just refuse to do it after you waited and just send you home with nothing. Appalled with customer service skills if these people. THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NONE!
I would give this place ten stars if I could. Friendly and helpful staff, while the only loud noises were the people squishing the recycling. The air smelled like you were outside, not in a uncleaned restroom in a bar. I use to dread going to do some recycling because of the state of the other location I would go to but no more.This is how recycling should feel.

The staff here are very helpful in every way. You can get red Sharps containers, redeem bottles for money or donate, browse the Reuse bar or contribute items.
This is a great place to recycle. The staff are probably the friendliest and most helpful of all the recycle centers in Vallejo. You get a nice check with your name on it. Pretty neat.
Also, anybody complaining about removing caps: do it at home and save yourself time at their location. People are too lazy to do the simplest of tasks these days.
