Hours were listed wrong. While it was listed here on Google that they are open Sunday and Closed Monday, that was not the case. They are not open Sunday They are not Closed Monday Edit suggested to Google

I learned you can recycle carpet and the underlayment foam stuff as long as it is in rolls

Great PLACE to drop all kinds of recycling UNTIL THE COUNTY CLOSED THEM at the end of summer 2025

Keep in mind this place serves the san Lorenzo Valley and it seems like the whole valley is there on the weekend. So I suggest you dump on the weekdays, early even. Then you won't have to much of a wait in regards to getting in/out. This has been my observation from going there every few weeks for years. It's cheap, comparatively, if you live here. People are generally nice, although there are a few grumpy older people working there. Trailers weigh in/out. Pickups get spot quoted. Make sure you tarp!

Horrible. First time visiting I had trashbags tied and secure in my bed and I was told I had to turn around and drive home to cover everything with a tarp. That makes no sense! One warning with a free pass and it accomplishes the same outcome. Today, waiting for 20 mins to get through the gate with a line of 5 vehicles. What takes so long!

The facility is fine but the listed hours on Google maps and their website are wrong. Both say the facility closes at 3:30 but the CRV closes at 3pm. There is no way to know this without calling or driving there. No reason to think just the CRV would have different hours. I wasted an afternoon driving here to find CRV was closed.

Terrible hours and rude, unhelpful employees! They close super early on Wednesday, so if you have a normal job good luck using their services!

Not a place you want to spend a lot of time at (the smell), but relatively efficient for dumping trash. You’re going to pay at least $29 if it’s garbage so try to maximize the junk you bring per trip. I like the displays they’ve made on either side of entry driveway.

Elmer Fudd does too much….. his line is outta control at the dump. He used to b on it… think it’s time for him to start looking into retirement

Everyone is respectful and ready to answer any questions about what should and shouldn't be dumped.

County employees were pleasant and accommodating. The Transfer Station closes early (2:30 PM), the wait time to enter was about twenty minutes. Don't forget to ask for your senior discount.

Took 45 minutes to get past the scales. Classic example of government waist

Usually, there is no line. Recycling has come a long way. Hopefully, leadership is investing to acquire the best hardware and tech for that goal. Clean, great staff, easy to navigate.

I've been here a few times and I'm always impressed at how clean it is for a dump. People at the front gate are always pleasant to work with and reasonable. The last time I was there I had some waste wood to take up to the top, and unfortunately I drove over a board with a nail in it, but the guys up there patched my tire for me and filled it with air and I was on my way. Be careful for that if you're ever dumping wood up there, the board I hit wasn't even really near the wood pile. Bummer about my tire, but I was really grateful for the guys up top helping me find the leak, patching it up for free, and filling it up with air.

My recycle bottles and cans tied up In plastic garbage bags. Attendant wanted to charge $27 for unsecured load REALLY another layer of plastic first time in 40 yrs RIDICULOUS.

Super friendly and helpful people work here. Clean and orderly methods of delivering the excess from our home to the dump.

They closed the gate early on me and wouldn't let me throw away 3 pieces of furniture. Their hours are already very inconvenient and they are unconcerned with the effect on the public.

It's a compact facility but runs smoothly with nice staff. Its a long wait on Saturday's but scenic

It takes about 1 hour of waiting in line to unload a truckload of forest floor debris everytime I go. I'm trying to clean up around our land to minimize forest fires, but waiting 1 hour every Saturday to unload is ridiculous! Cost is only $15, but they close every day at 2:30, and all day Sunday, so little time to get much work done there!

Lady at the scales was polite as well as the lady directing me to the right place to dump

Great place to contemplate your life during your hours long wait behind a epic long trail of idling trucks. Staff is super tuned into not changing the current policy and is very attentive in not updating conditions. I’m strongly considering burning all my debris from now on. I’d be surprised if you don’t see more illegal dumping due to these conditions. If the county would like my further input, please contact me.

Hours and sevices seem to continue to be reduced while your rates go up. It seems to me that the facility is set to cater to businesses leaving general citizens short of affordable options.

Easily the rudest and laziest group of people I've ever met in my life. The gates are open so I assume the entire lot was open I come in for CRV set my bags down and wait for about 5 minutes while I see multiple employees walk past me not telling me that the CRV isn't open yet It takes a man coming from all the way across the lot to tell me that it opens at 10:00. There was literally a man sitting on a forklift 2 ft away from me who said nothing and just sat there the entire time wish I could give 0

The staff are friendly and the place is surprisingly clean (for a plot of land harboring a trash mountain). They'll take trash, recycling, wood, mattresses, etc. There can be a wait sometimes, but the feeling of being garbage-free is so worth the wait.

I thought it was very well run. However, less than 5 stars. One individual was not wearing a mask. No place to wash ones hands. Nor an alternative.

Good location. Be prepared to wait in line. If you only have recycling, though, you can take the right lane and bypass the line.

Friendly people and generally hassle-free. Very reasonable dumping prices. Plan on bringing a rag towel to put down in your car so you don't track garbage sludge into your car.
