Fortes Bros service is very friendly, timely and professional. I had issues with my battery that was installed about a year ago that I purchased thru AAA. The battery failed and this company went above and beyond to correct my issue with no hassle. I bought another battery through my mechanic and my car is doing great again. I paid over $300 for a battery replacement (and tipped), but the technician took my old battery afterward — which meant I couldn’t return it for the $30 deposit or use my $100 warranty credit.
Driver came by very quickly, in less than 20mins, helped me restart my car, and gave me lots of useful advice regarding the battery condition and what to do next
Jonathan came for my AAA roadside service when my car wouldn’t start. He diagnosed that the battery needed to be replaced and replaced it on the spot. All in all we were done in less than 15 min on a Sunday evening! Amazing service!
It’s my first time use my AAA roadside assistance last night at 11pm when I get off work my car died. My coworker helped me jumped but it doesn’t work. So I called AAA roadside assistance, Fortes towing and repair service company come less then 30 minutes. Alejandro show up. I took him to the hotel garage where my car is. Immediately he found out the battery was loose. He helps me tighten up the battery, check if my battery is still in good condition. He charged the battery then start and stop couple times make sure it works so I can drive home safely. He really went above and beyond the service. He always very friendly person. So happy bumped into such a friendly expert person whom tells me not to worry, he will fix the problem for me up on his arrival. I work as customer service for 30 year. I do recognize a good service. Let me preface this review on Fortes Bros Inc Emergency by saying, a lot of roadside towing services have bad names because people got taken advantage of when they find themselves down & out, and then be taken for a ride makes us have that helpless feelings.
Well, I found myself in a situation like that yesterday about ~1pm. My car is less than 5 years old and have only ~20,500 miles on the odometer; then all of a sudden, the car wouldn't start. I heard the click! Click! sounds, but the car just wouldn't start. I thought, Oh Boy, did I leave some lights on overnight, since the battery should have still been in pretty good conditions, I called my friend to give me a jump, no luck - same click! click! sounds but no firing
I then took out my phone and opened my AAA app, and made a tow service call. The lady who answered, she told me it may take an hour & a half‼‼ I thought you were offering EMERGENCY Roadside service, but what can I do, I thought it was going to be a very long day.
Within 10 minutes, my phone rang, and the guy said, I'd be there in 5 minutes. WOW‼‼ When the tow truck pulled up, it was a very familiar bright yellow Fortes truck, they had repaired my previous car after a car accident, and that experience was amazing!
Brett was the dude, despite having to see his girlfriend at ER later that day, he took the time to run some diagnostics test, and told me that your battery was fully charged, it's just the amperage was way too low to get the car started. He first used a super powerful portable charger to get my car started, but he said probably due to a bad cell in the battery, if I start driving , I may still have the sand issues since driving wouldn't fix the cause. He even told me, you can drive to Costco and get a replacement battery, and do it myself to save some money. I was in no state of mind to drive to Costco - what if the car dies again after I get a battery. I said can you just change it on the spot for me? He told me, sure! He did it so expertly and within 10 minutes I was on my way!
I called Fortes Bros and asked for the boss, but they had already left. BOSS, if you see this review, please give Brett a huge pay raise, it's guys like Brett that will change the views on towing services, he's knowledgeable, understanding, and without him, this car troubles could have been lingered into today or longer.

AAA sent out Manny from Fortes Bros to get my car to the mechanic’s after a flat tire. Not only was he super efficient and professional, but gave me advice about which shop to go to, what to expect with my tires, and fun to talk to on the ride over. Great experience in an otherwise unfortunate situation.
Excellent service. I ran into them using AAA's services. Replaced my dead battery for my Toyota Camry 2003, and he diagnosed other foreseeable problems I didn't know about, such as starter needing to be replaced, etc. Didn't get his name, as I was in a rush.
Tiger was an excellent tow truck driver - Seriously, top-notch. Guy arrived super quick. Got the car back to my place really quick and was able to maneuver into a very difficult spot and even gave me some guidance on what was wrong with my car. Fantastic service five stars all around

He arrived with a big smile and fantastic customer service. He was quick and to the point and easy to strike a conversation with during the whole process. On a scale of 1-10 I give home an easy 15. I had a fantastic experience with Fortes Brothers Emergency Roadside Services in South San Francisco. My roadside assistance tech, Christopher, came out in a hurry to jump-start my Toyota 4Runner so I could get my father home after his surgery at Kaiser.
I was incredibly stressed, juggling multiple things at once, and dealing with a car that wouldn’t start. Chris went above and beyond to get to my location quickly, which made a huge difference in a tough situation. Fortunately, my battery was in good shape—I had just left my lights on—but if I had needed a replacement, he was ready to take care of it on the spot.
I requested service through the AAA app, which can be a little glitchy at times, but after a second attempt, I was connected with Chris and the Fortes team. They got me back on the road in record time.

Jack was super helpful and kind during a hectic Sunday. He arrived sooner than the expected time, worked around the confusion of the AAA rep entering the wrong address for pickup and even problem solving after we arrived to my tire shop and realizing it was closed. He quickly problem solved and added air to my tire to get me home that way I can come back tomorrow instead of just leaving the car. Great experience, very professional , knowledgeable and the truck was really clean!

one of your drivers was completely blocking a crosswalk in SF while helping a motorist. i asked him to move and he very kindly did, allowing people to safely cross the road on a dark and rainy night. i was pretty impressed!
I've always had great experiences with their roadside emergency services. Most recently, Joseph in San Francisco was incredible! He was there quickly, was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and he saved the day for me by repairing my flat tire on the roadside. Good as new, see the before-and-after photos. I'm forever grateful!
I had a flat tire and had to pull over to the side of the freeway. I called Fortes and the receptionist answered the phone right away and took all of my information pertaining to where I was stranded and told me that a town truck would be in my area in about 20 minutes. Within 20 minutes a tow truck showed up and the driver was a super nice guy and he asked me where I wanted the car towed. I told him and he towed my car and we had a nice chat while driving to the service station. My car got dropped off, I paid the driver and I was good to go! Within an hour of my flat tire, Fortes came and picked up my car and had it dropped off! Superior service!! Thanks again Fortes!!! Hopefully I won't need a reason to have any of my cars towed in the future, but if I do, you'll be the tow company I will be calling without a doubt!!
I can't believe the disrespect, unprofessionalism, and discriminative! I just got in Cali from New York for my grandson's first birthday. I was dropping off presents at my son's apartment for my grandson. And when I came back out I found my vehicle was gone! Yes it was in a fire lane. But I literally wasn't there for 5 min. But anyway when I got my truck back. My 2018 Tundra was dented all over and my bumper is almost ripped off! When I got in back I reviewed the video on my dash cam. And the guy came in with no lights on not even caution lights hooked and booked! And almost dropped my truck the bumper caught the truck. And side swiped my tuck on a fence. So when I came there to complaine. A guy came out named pablo. Said move you fn vehicle over in this parking spot or I won't help you trying to show Authority. I moved it over there. He tosses a clip board at me and said fill this out and started to take photos. I said I'm sorry I have dyslexia and I need help filing this out!
With dyslexia when I'm upset or have a migraine I can only see partial of letters and sometimes they moves! He had the audacity to say to me what are you slow and repetitively calling me a Reta**. I am a business owner and work hard for everything I have. This is my work truck that I have worked for hard so many years. It is almost paid off and they just treated it like it was trash, and treating me so inhumanely that no person should be treated! I am beyond hurt and disgusted! I pray this reaches many and this business will fail! One last thing I also called multiple times to speak to a supervisor and they keep pushing me to a voicemail and not even take care of the complaint!
Our van’s tire blew out on the freeway. We were able to tow it back home. Then I called AAA on the weekend to tow it to a service center to have the tire replaced. They dispatched this guy from Fortes. After he loaded the van, I just asked him what’s the address of the service center? He gave me the attitude right away and even told he knew what he was doing. I was like… HUH?!??!? I need to know where he’s taking my van so I can drive there.
Definitely lacks customer service. And seems like their default stance I guess is be defensive and arrogant.
