They serviced it on Friday, and when I went to pick it up, several lights came on on the dashboard. I went back on Saturday, and they wouldn't help me, but they gave me an appointment for Monday at 7:45. I took my car in, and there was no one there to look at it until Tuesday, and then they gave me another appointment for Tuesday the 24th at 12:00 pm. I don't know why they made me bring it in today, Monday?

I went to the Larry Hopkin’s Honda dealership this past weekend. Gil Mota came out to greet us while my mom and I were looking at a used CRV. I ended up getting the car that day. If I could do the whole process over again I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Gil was the best salesperson we could’ve asked for and he and his team were incredibly courteous and humane. Their team worked seamlessly and were in lockstep communication. The process couldn’t have been smoother. Juan who helped us with more of the finance process, contract documents guidance and signing, warranty information and more was able to explain the processes so it was much easier for me to understand. He was also super knowledgeable, kind, friendly, helpful and very efficient. At the beginning, my mom and I went there to look at a used CRV. Gil came out to greet us and he right off the bat showed off the most useful tech features of the car which certainly helped us just off the bat to get to know it more. He was super knowledgeable and he let me test drive it comfortably without any rush. He continued to provide guidance on the other tech features of the car which was really helpful and not everyone does that. Everything he showed us was super helpful to know…He is a complete standout. He was incredibly efficient, logical, and was the best guide throughout the process. He explained everything clearly and transparently as he was going through each step of the process. Very importantly he was just a great person overall which we noticed while he was in conversations with my mom and I. Jay and Felix and the whole sales and service team at Larry Hopkins Honda treated my wife and me like family consistently from my initial looks and test drives to our eventual purchase of a new CRV with them. We both had lots of questions and we never once felt rushed or pressured. They gave us a competitive price on the car, and did not load the car up with paint treatments or after market add-ons that we didn’t want - a common dealer practice that we have encountered before. We had some minor but totally resolvable problems after purchase, and Jay made sure that we were taken care of I. The same visit. Felix educated us how to operate some of the advanced safety and convenience features and Jay educated us on even more later. Jay and the rest of the team went out of their way to make us comfortable bringing up any concerns or questions before during and after the sales process. I have purchased 8 cars in my lifetime thus far, and this experience was the best, hands down! We only buy Honda or Acura, because we have an amazing mechanic who gets the best service life out of our cars for a fair price. This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Felix was honest and straightforward from our first email. When I went into the dealership he was informative, not pushy, funny, respectful, genuine, and I didn’t feel like I was being played. I came with my mom for a Honda CRV Sport 2026. She only wanted the Urban Grey color, and Dr. Jay was extremely patient and dedicated! First, he made sure to show us all the car functions and gave us opportunities to test them out. Since they did not have the Urban Grey color at the time, the team worked very hard to find a dealership that did have the car and traded it. I have been a customer of Larry Hopkins Honda as far back as 2002, having bought my first car there, and I have been a regular visitor to its Service Department for roughly the past 14 years by bringing in my late father's car (also originally bought there) for routine service/maintenance. While I have seen people come and go over the years, this dealership's commitment to customer service has been a constant that I could trust. So when I finally found a good time to shop for a new car last month (quite fittingly on Black Friday), this was naturally the first place for me to go. It turned out that I didn't need to go anywhere else. Both Mohammad and Felix were extremely professional and knowledgeable yet also down-to-earth and relatable, and they took the time to process what I was looking for most in a new vehicle (within the budget I had in mind) and to answer any questions that popped up along the way. They more than welcomed me to test drive both the 2026 Civic Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback and the 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid (as I was able to narrow down my search to just those two models), and they were more than ready to elaborate on the unique features of each car. While both cars were fun to drive, I ultimately found myself in agreement with their recommendation and chose to buy the Civic on December 6th, and I was especially glad that my preferred color was already available. The payment process that immediately followed, along with the associated paperwork, went quite smoothly. Juan was very thorough in explaining all of the forms that needed to be signed and initialed, and he was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of trading in my late father's car while compiling the info needed for taking care of matters at the DMV. Furthermore, Juan was very transparent in breaking down the cash price of the new car (including the accessories that I requested to further customize the car), the trade-in value of the old car, and the (discounted) plans that I have added to protect the new car long term. All in all, I was very satisfied with the deal. I can't thank Mohammad, Felix and Juan enough for all of the assistance they have provided. It's also clear how much they, as well the rest of the team at Larry Hopkins, take pride in the Honda brand, as I can certainly rely on their insight about the Civic's countless features and their advice on taking the utmost care of it for many years to come. The 2001 Honda Prelude needs no introduction - it is a cherished vehicle from the analog era where buttons, physical gauges, and a connectedness is experienced. My friend has been on a search for a 5th Gen Prelude for several years and the stars aligned that day. I looked for a family car to buy for nearly six months. As a last resort, I started renting candidate vehicles from Turo. The Tesla Model Y was not roomy enough. The Toyota Sienna was spacious, but overpriced and cumbersome to drive. I knew from my research that the Honda Odyssey drove better than the Sienna. But it is only when I actually drove the vehicle, that I realized just how much more responsive the Odyssey was. 0-60 for an Odyssey is faster than a Model Y RWD. The car basically handles like a large sedan. The two men responsible for my purchase are Mr. Felix and Mr. Jay. They answered all my questions patiently and clearly. They even let me take the car home to show to my family. Felix gave me a very clear and concise overview of what the Odyssey was and was not. Jay handled the logistics of the documentation and vehicle handover in an efficent and accessible manner. Juan gave up his Friday off to complete the financing and complete my purchase. Great product and great sales & finance team. Hope the service team matches the sales and finance team in the coming years !
