For a few months service had improved, the machine was still breaking down, but a technician came to fix it within one day. But this month it hasn't been working for more thank a week, and the machines nearby aren't working either. Having to drive long distance to redeem pollutes the air and defeats the benefits of recycling, not to mention those idle machines are still using up electricity. The state needs to make it easier to redeem the deposits.
Olyns has a lot of hard-working people emptying the machines. One who I’ve gotten to know named Selma is courteous, hard-working, and has always given me Excellent tips on how to use the machine . Olyns needs more people like this working there. I know she works extremely hard all Day long. There may not be a lot of glory at her job, but she does it well and with a steadfast determination to get things done. Well, done Selma.
I saw Selma again during the first week of April. Once again, I see her really getting in there and cleaning up all the bottles and cans from within the machine. Making sure none are left on the bottom that could cause a jam or some obvious other problem. I like a person that takes pride in what they do. She should really be commended on her steadfast and hard-working attitude. Not to mention, she always has a smile and a friendly pillow when I see her. Well done!
I have been to this machine 3 times but never returned any bottles successfully even though it’s marked available in the app. The machine just does not work
It is convenient when it works, however the machine breaks down every few days and there is no one to repair it. It has been unusable for a week, there is no customer service whatsoever.

This is almost always full. I headed out recently when I saw on the app that it was 27% full. I live close. When I got there, the app still said 27% for glass but the cube said it was full. I am very discouraged about using this anymore.

The machine is full way too often and the waiting times for it to be emptied are very long. The limit is not 200 deposits as it says online, it is 50 per day, which makes is barely worth going there.
The machine was always full last year, Sometimes I had to wait up to 5 or 6 weeks for the machine. This year they improved and sometimes I can find it in the app empty, and I had to wait between 1 or 2 weeks. They improved a lot!
Machine is working properly. You need to have the app and double check to make sure is not full. Make sure you have CRV materials only. It takes plastic, cans and glass.
Update! The machine is working great! Olyns is providing pretty much the only CRV resource right here in our neighborhood. The Olyns Kiosk takes your CRV quickly and rejects crushed stuff and let you know why. Just download the app, scan the Olyns ID from your smartphone at the machine and insert your CRV. I can tell the coders are working overtime because the machines are faster and better at identifying CRV. Payout is pretty instantaneous through the app! $$$
If you look at the app ahead of time you can tell what machines are available and thanks to the TON of new machines in the area we should have more and more kiosks to redeem from!
Many stores are required to take CRV but most refuse to, which is illegal. The Olyns CRV Kiosk is a great way to get your CRV and to help the environment!
Good idea, but Android app is poor, and the machine wouldn't turn on its conveyor belt after I scanned my phone, so I couldn't deposit any cans. The kiosk is located just inside the East entrance of Safeway. It showed that there would be an agent there to give cash refunds on Thursdays.
