Good store with awesome staff. Rich resurfaced my brake rotors for $25 each, saving me tons vs buying new ones. I had to call tons of O’Reillys in the area to find one that offered this service, and these guys came through. Highly recommend.

Went in looking for a simple part—just a replacement air filter for my car. What I got was a nightmare. First, I waited for 20 minutes while the employees were too busy chatting and completely ignored customers. I finally asked one of them for help, and they seemed annoyed that I interrupted their conversation. After finding the part, I checked it against my car’s model online to ensure compatibility. Of course, the part was wrong. When I went back to return it, the store manager was incredibly rude, acting like I was the problem. No apologies, just a series of excuses about how their inventory system is "outdated." To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund, they insisted on giving me store credit—for a part I didn’t even need. The customer service was beyond terrible, and the employees were unprofessional and unhelpful. I ended up leaving empty-handed and extremely frustrated. Never coming back here again. There are so many other stores that actually know what they’re doing and treat customers with respect. Don’t waste your time here!

I had a very disappointing experience at this auto parts store. The service was terrible—no one seemed to know what they were doing, and I didn’t feel like they cared about helping customers at all. I won’t be coming back.

WORST O’REILLY STORE! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Worst customer service ever I have never been so upset with a disrespectful employee at the store. I will be calling the head, corporate office regarding the store.

This review is long overdue for Andres at O'Reilly Auto Parts on El Camino in Sunnyvale. On 6/24/25, Andres helped my friend Edward and I rent a compression testing tool around 6pm. His professional and friendly assistance was refreshing and very appreciated.

Guess must be Saturday. Arrived at 08:58 pm & as soon as i pulled in, the guys were just bolted out, locked the door and said "we are closed". So, i had to sleep in my car in front of the store because I dont have any coolant in my car. Thanks for closing the store before 9pm and didnt mean to slow you guys down for partying. ZERO STAR!!!

I went in to get a headlight replacement and installation (which they told me over the phone that they could do). An employee named Miguel at the counter had no customer service skills to speak of. Extremely rude, quiet, didn’t answer any of my questions, and had an entitled attitude that made it seem like he was doing me a favor. He makes me buy the headlights, pop the hood, and does a 10 second scan under the hood before telling me that he can’t install it. Why make me buy it in the first place then? And why can you not treat customers in a better, more friendly manner? Extremely disappointed in this O’Reilly location.

The employee's are so helpful and respectful love them. Thank you so much Diego and the for helping me jump start my battery. I don't know the other young guys name but thank you as well for testing my battery ans running a diagnostic test on the car. I appreciate all your help.

7.21.25 i called and asked for a transmission filter kit, and "Filipo" said there was one available and he would put it on hold for me under my name. I said I would be there at 4 or 5 pm. I arrived at 4pm and asked for Filipo and he was on a break. I told the other clerk about my item on hold and he couldn't find it. Filipo had never put it on hold. Fortunately, no other customer had come in and bought it. It was still on the back shelf. Is it too much to ask for Filipo to simply DO HIS JOB ? ---------------------- UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW: the incident in which the clerk promised to come out and do the CEL scan but NEVER CAME OUT actually happened at the other OReilly's down the road at 170 E. El Camino in Mountain View

Diego was super helpful and gave good advice Edit: Service seems inconsistent. Why is it that I've ordered the same air filter for my air conditioning from this store for years now. And all of sudden, they need my license, engine, and all sorts of information? I've never had a problem with this prior. Only when Miguel was there.

Unreliable and untruthful: they told me come in and we will charge the battery -- I took Caltrain, a Lyft, went to storage, got the batter from the car and made it here in time -- he says come back tomorrow, like what is the point. Just tell me when I call.

It’s a standard O’Reilly store but with a slightly smaller footprint. Service is decent and staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful. It is easy to access and has a decent parking lot in front. I’ve only used it a couple of times and had a good experience both times.

Diego helped me get my battery replaced (in less time than it took me to jump start it!) & even checked up on the engine as well. The people here are incredibly helpful, and were very respectful towards a solo woman with little car knowledge.

Easily accessible via HWY-101, 280, Central & Lawrence Expressway, this location sits close to Wolfe Road & El Camino in Sunnyvale. It's a small store that has got pretty much everything under the sun for your car's needs. Great customer service stands out, I witnessed first hand, one of their store employees was out on their parking lots installing a car battery for a customer. They also do free battery checks & Check Engine light readings - who dies that fit FREE nowadays.

I called as soon as I got off work to tell them I will be cutting it close to closing. He said no worries.Got there five minutes before they closed to pick up what I had ordered. Asked if I had time to get new windshield wipers and he said yes then he offered to install for me! In the rain!! He took seconds to do it!! Literally seconds. I never had such an effortless visit. Such a relief after a looong hard day at work thank you sooo much!!

Every other O’Reillys has been happy to help me with any help installing or putting something in my car. This is one of the reasons I’ve always gone to them. This location couldn’t be bothered to even put forth an effort in showing an interest in doing their job. With a serious migraine I’ve never had anyone not willing to help me. Not here. Never coming back to this tacky location.

Guy at the counter was very courteous in helping me find wiper blades for my car. He also helped with actually replacing it. There was a promotional offer going - so ended up costing me less than purchasing online. Overall, great neighborhood store and would definitely revisit if I had any other auto needs.

Was having problems with starting my car as not driving much I kept having to charge batterey. They checked batterey,alternator, generator and everything fine it just needed a good longer charge. Saved me from buying a new battery and when I need one I will come back here to buy it. Very nice,fast, and honest.

Went in to return three items that was over $250 dollars. Apparently they told me they didn't have the money in there drawer to return the items. So I asked if they could refund me at least one item. The manager of the store was standing not to far away so I asked him why I couldn't get all items refunded he told the employee who was helping me that he would take care of me and gladly refunded all items. I was impressed by his swift initiative to provide amazing customer care and to make sure that I left there satisfied. So FYI if the employee says they can't refund you back your items ask to speak to the manager of the store.

Counted no less than 9 people "working", but only one actually helping 4 out of the 5 of us. The rest were talking with a pair of guys about their car, or wandering seemingly aimlessly...& ignored my requests for assistance. I understand it's fun to talk cars (especially sports cars), but when customers can't reach items on shelves & can't get anyone to help, & with no carts available to put the jugs of fluids in to carry them from the back of the store to the register, then it stops being a store & should be called a car club, with 'members only/meeting in progress' signs out front. The one helpful guy was AWESOME when he had 2 seconds to see me, & even carried the jug of oil & filter right out to my car for me! (This is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!) He's the sole reason this isn't a 1 star review. I ended up just getting 2 of the 12 things I went in for, & will be going elsewhere to get the rest - someplace other than an O'Reilly's, despite being a long time customer across multiple states. I'm looking to shop at a store, where people can provide assistance when needed, not intrude on a car club's impromptu meeting.

Mostly are positive, today i lost my mask, i just opened the door & ask the seller if possible give me my ordered parts and charge my card. There was no any customer in, i was the only customer. The manager Jassy very unpolite told go buy mask & back!! He could help so easy as customer service. After i got mask from some person, the manager told me i will not give to you , go get from other store!!! After some arguments his employee gave me. My leg was full of pain & he ordered more job to me. No compassion at all.
