Santa Clara Cycle did an excellent job replacing both tires on my Zero RS motorcycle. Their communication was great, and their service was professional.
They didn’t have the tire size I was looking for. But they’ve got a nice shop with a decent amount of motorcycles, gears and accessories. And knowledgeable staff.
10/10 experience, the staff and the mechanics are very friendly. Got tyres changed, chain serviced. They give an update on your motorcycle condition what to look out for in the future. Will definitely be coming back to them.
I came to SCCA a few weeks ago to check out some bikes they had for sale. With the help of Doug and his staff I was able to purchase my first Motorcycle with relative ease!
Great place for ordering tires. Sometimes I bring in my rims, other times I bring the bike. They seem to treat my bright blue Yamaha wheels with care! They have also consigned a bike for me and made it very easy to sell.
Landed at this spot to get a flat fixed on my dirt bike. Doug helped me out and had it ready for pick up in a couple hours. Great prices, great people. Will be coming back!
Doug was very nice, informative, and polite he helped us get a clean triumph for an amazing deal. The shop was nice and they have a nice selection of used bikes and accessories for a great deal I would highly suggest giving them a look.
Finally had a chance to visit. I went there to get a new tire and get it mounted/balanced. The turnaround time was super quick even though there were 4 customers before me.
I can see why it's been so popular and the owner was very polite and nice.
I wish it had a bigger parking lot though.

I change my tires here every year. But you need to be prepared. Even if you paid for your order online, upon arrival you will be charged an additional $5 before changing the tire and a few more dollars after the replacement. Each time they cut off the nipple and install a new one. Why do they install such a low-quality nipple if it will need to be replaced again in a few months? Unclear. Be prepared for this.
I’ve been going to Doug and Greg’s shop for years. Just went there last year to get a set of tires for my 2016 Yamaha SR400. They don’t make either of the stock tire sizes anymore but Doug found an acceptable substitution, gave me some different manufacturers and price ranges, and they mounted the tires for free. I’ve sold a bike there on consignment as well, a painless way to sell your old bike. Best motorcycle shop in the Bay Area and glad they’re still around.
Got a good deal on both tires and got them installed for free. While waiting, I picked up some oil filters, and they were cheaper than online. The young lady working at the front graciously helped me with the rebates for the tires which I did not know about. One complaint is that I wish they took reservations for mounting tires. I had to wait quite abit. Overall, great service and very pleasant people to work with!

There’s a lot to say about a business that runs so efficiently you are able to just get what you need done so quickly forget you even went in for a service. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable. They didn’t have the OEM tire but could order it. I opted for a tire I felt was better and in stock! I dropped it off end of day before closing and the next morning they called me to say it was ready. Got in, no fiddling for paperwork or looking for my wheel. Handed me my wheel and off I went. Was awesome!
They have the best deals in the Bay area! I bought a new front tire from them, online to get the best deal on that particular tire, and also to reserve it. Marked for in store pick up, and went down next morning and had it installed, took less than the time quoted. Most places just mount and you install it back on the bike, but for a very reasonable fee they will install it on the bike. Great for a person like me still new to this wonderful world of riding. Professional shop and staff, they even have some great deals on used bikes. Thanks I will be back!!
Asked them to install a shorter license plate mount and a tracking device. Did a fantastic job at a great price. Great service at the front desk as well
Just purchased a 2018 Honda Fury from Santa Clara Cycle. Doug has been running this place with his family for 21+ years and you can see why they have been successful and around for all this time. Doug has been extremely patient and helpful with me as I made this purchase from out of state. He even took time to help me load it on the trailer safely. Having a tire in need of replacement I called these guys & even though they were busy, they made time in their busy schedule to install two tires in less than an hour! Good work & was extremely happy with the pricing on tires here. Better than Cycle Gear & they install tires for about the same as Cycle Gear but you don't have to remove your wheels. This is good for someone like me that is traveling around via motorcycle. Thanks again for your help & timely response to my needs!
While touring, I had a need to replace my front tire. The shop was booked. The owner (Greg?) loaned me a scissor jack and I pulled the wheel myself, and replaced it after the new tire was installed and balanced. This SAVED my trip...honestly. 1-yr later, a FB friend has the same issue. I recommend them and they do a stellar job. Everyone is happy! THANK YOU!
Greg, Doug, John, Erica, and Brandon are some of the best motorcycling experts you can find. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and have always walked out happy.
Brandon works in the back changing tires and he is bar none the most meticulous person to trust with your expensive wheels for tire changes.
And guess what? They have the cheapest tire prices and free mounting and balancing. Doesn’t get any better than that.

I just bought a motorcycle from Santa Clara Cycle Accessories. The process couldn't have been any more low-pressure than it was. They offer pre-sales inspections if desired. Doug was nice enough to roll the Brutale out of the shop and let me ogle it in the sun in the parking lot as long as I wanted while he went and dealt with other customers. He started the bike for me, let me sit on it, etc.
I made an offer to the owner and then thought about it a couple days before letting Doug know I wanted it. They allow flexible payment methods, which is great since my bank is out of state.
The paper work is all handled by the shop so you don't have to go to the DMV yourself. When I arrived at the shop on pick-up day they had the bike all ready to roll out the door, they set the tire pressure for me, even though I was loading it on a truck (I don't trust 9+ year old sport bike tires).
I didn't even have to push the bike into the back of the truck, Doug got two of his young bucks to help out and they ran it up the ramp for me before I even got to try and help.
My wife and I also got some ancillary stuff for our other bikes while there the first time - oil filters, fuel filters, etc. For a used bike shop they have some awesome used bikes - more high end bikes than one would expect!
I almost forgot to mention how excellent they are at communication. Email, messenger, phone - always quick to respond and courteous. They will get my business in the future.

Can't beat them for new tires, they are my go-to spot.
Their tire prices are better than ordering online tax free, and it includes mounting. I used to mount my own tires but it's a no brainer.
If you need anything else (such as gear) it's worth asking because they have also done a good job meeting or beating online prices.
I highly recommend checking them out.
