I like the new guy Hal. I have known Tae for a while and we have a really good relationship but Hal is great! I am not the guy who wants something for nothing but I must say I was a little surprised at my original total this recent visit but Hal knocked a little off to make it more doable. I am happy to pay for what my car needs and all I want is to have an honest relationship with my car guy so when he or she tells me my car needs something I believe them and say “Go ahead and do it.” I don’t like the service advisor who gives you the furrowed brow, concerned look followed by the immediate upsell… implying, “If you don’t buy this extra service I am SUDDENLY recommending then your car might blow up tomorrow.” Tae and Hal aren’t like that and I appreciate that.
Great service, honest work, and amazing customer care! They were transparent throughout the repair and even called me a Lyft home. Definitely recommended — especially if you're in a bind on Sunday!
They took me in on the fly, I needed a battery desperately. Also did an inspection. Oil change n tire rotation for me, way besting what I would've paid for at the dealership. Stayed in constant text contact with me, took videos, asked permission to go through with services got me out in 2.5 hours. Also paid for my Lyft to the local mall so I could eat a late lunch! Very friendly as well, will definitely go here again. Recommended! When calling, you will be dealing with a call center first, fyi, who also set up a rotation and oil change deal for me. Cheers. I replaced my headlight bulbs with ones that are about twice as bright as the originals. The staff helped me choose the most cost-effective option in terms of price and brightness. They explained that going just one level brighter would have cost several times more, and instead of pushing me to spend more, they gave me honest, money-saving advice. I really appreciate their professionalism and highly recommend this place!
Today, we had an amazing experience with stress-free auto care! My car started making this crazy screeching sounds from the rear left tire and we assumed it was the brake pad. They were able to bring our car in and fix the problem the same day!
They also gave my husband a complimentary uber ride home.
Thankfully, the brakes were fine (it was just a rock) but they assessed everything. We’ll definitely be back! Really appreciate the professionalism and great service!
I asked for a quote from Stress-Free Autocare on the diagnosis of my Hyundai 2015 car for the "ABS" that popped up on my dashboard. They initially gave me a quote of $299.99. I told them the quote was expensive compared to other Auto Shop, but they cut it in half since they said they have a promo. I dropped my car to have it diagnosed. After 5 hours I got a text message saying they fixed the issue but I don't have to pay extra, only the diagnostic fee of $150.00. According to them, there was a loose bolt on my ABS sensor that's making the issue, which they fixed. My only concern was, when I picked up the car, the foot break wasn't on or pressed down and the heater was on. The technician who parked my car after the repair should have stepped on the footbreak and turn off the heater after parking it. Other than that my experience with Stress-Free Autocare was good.
I had an alignment & balance issue that needed attention as well a an oil change on my Kia. Stress free was able to schedule me early the next morning! Other shops would definitely have been longer. After going through a multi-point inspection, the technician messaged me a list of all the issues I’d requested, as well as others that needed attention. He topped off coolant, and other things he saw, no charge! Very thorough and clear. What was really great was they arranged for me to get picked up with a Lyft ride from my house and take me to the shop to pick up my car. I will be using Stress Free because they are friendly, thorough, and aim to please the customer. I highly recommend them!
Finally came in to figure out what was wrong with the water in firewall that had now gotten into the inside of the car. The body shop I wen to said they don’t deal with that issue. Within an hour had the reason and thorough inspection. Fixed the water issue and also they fixed brake noise which I’ve had since having the brakes installed somewhere else. Mike and Israel were excellent to work with.
Great experience, fast oil change or well at least that’s how it felt since their lobby is so relaxing!! Snack’s provided & brand new couches!! The experience was so friendly, fast & efficient that it really brightened my day. 10/10 rating from me. Price make’s up for the service provided, it’s definitely worth it in my opinion! Thank’s to all the staff who where very friendly as well. It’s also pretty cool how they give you access to seeing your service being done live!
They live up their name! I turned my car in, they ordered me a Lyft home, and my car was ready a couple hours later. They did find other issues but didn’t pressure me to have other services done. The guy at the front was really helpful and friendly. My son liked that they had snacks, too! I would definitely trust them with my car again.
Great service.They provide constant updates and a live camera to monitor your car. This was a new experience for me. I felt the Price is on the higher side, but other than that the service was good.
Tire rotation and alignment at Stress-Free Auto Care after noticing pull on the highway, they balanced them out quick but missed a small nail in one tread first check. Explained the alignment specs clearly and had free coffee in the wait area. Bill came reasonable though wait stretched to an hour longer than quoted from backlog.
I made a same day appointment because I suddenly became available. Inwas also able to take advantage of a coupon.They had an opening. Conducted multi point inspection with a real time online report and recommended repairs or maintenance. I was unable to take on the repairs so I was done with the entire process in a hour. They were professional and friendly and very efficient. I would go again and highly recommend.

Just had my 2024 Chrysler Pacifica S Hybrid Mini-Van safety inspection. It was great and the service technicians are the best to make sure everything is in perfect shape. Definitely my new go-to spot, highly recommend if you want fair pricing and great service.
My oil change light came on and my sister recommended this company. I was able schedule an appointment within a hour. The people at the front were very friendly and the place looks like a business are but the actual garage is in the back. I was told on the phone it could take at least 1 hr to 1hr 30 min. I just sat in the office and waited. While waiting they helped many customers do simple things like wiper blades. They were done in like 30 minutes. They checked everything in my car, including my breaks(which I thought needed changing soon but they said I was good for awhile. They went above and beyond and even got a coupon for the oil change. I left that place knowing this is the place I’m coming to from now on.
I just discovered Stress Free Auto Care, these guys have completely modernized the car service experience, especially if you are used to the stress of authorized dealership service centers trying to upsell unnecessary service items. I was here for a tire rotation, they gave a complimentary multi point inspection with 40+ photos that show you the state of your vehicle, makes it transparent and adds more trust to the transaction. Icing on the cake was all the staff are extremely courteous and sincere, they follow through on things to your satisfaction. Prices are reasonable too. My favorite part was that the waiting area does not smell like a workshop, well kept. Tae at the Milpitas location was very knowledgeable and kind. Keep up the great work!!

Great place to get your care care! Recently had a few major car issues and the team helped get the right parts and made sure to take care of my car. Every step of the way I was updated and they even have a live camera where you can watch your car get worked on. I would definitely recommend and will be taking my cars here from now on
Summary: you’re probably better off elsewhere for pricing and customer service.

The good: my first visit was in May for an oil change and ended up replacing two of my tires and air filter. Had James as my service advisor. He did a good job explaining things and not making me feel pressured to get repairs. He was also very transparent about pricing when I asked about how i had overheard some lower prices quoted to other customers and even looked back to at prior transactions to check.
The meh: their scheduling website sometimes glitches. They also take a while to change oil. My first time I waited over an hour (maybe around an hour and fifteen/twenty). The second time I was waiting for an hour and forty.
The bad: this most recent time, i had Mike as my service advisor and Angel as my technician (had someone else the first time but I don’t know enough about cars to comment on his work). When i arrived to check in, right at 9:30AM, i confirmed with Mike that the oil change should take about an hour. When 11:10AM rolled around and i could see that my car was ready, I had to get up to ask and Mike said that he was working on the report. Up to this point, i had received no update as to why it was taking so long. I finally get the report and go to the desk and Mike doesn’t even acknowledge me until I said something. I have worked in customer service before and as such i try to be understanding of people working in customer service. Even with that, the treatment i experienced fell far short of what i would even consider minimum decency. And to top it all off, I opened the door to my car to see oil stains on the seat and on the door (pictures below). I considered going back in but at that point I was tired and hadn’t eaten anything all day. I emailed the supposed founder with my concerns yesterday when I got home but have yet to receive any sort of response.
We called hoping to be squeezed in same-day for a brake sensor that had just come on and we wanted it checked out before our travels north. We had an appointment 30 mins later. Within an hour they told us we didn’t need anything right away. Just the honesty there alone is worth going here. If we lived here, this would for sure be our local shop.
I brought my car in for the first time to have the trunk latch fixed. The technician was helpful, and I appreciate that they were able to repair it quickly, the job was done in under an hour. However, I was charged $245 just to replace the screws, which felt really high for such a simple repair. My trunk wouldn’t close and it was the middle of the day, so I really had no choice but to get it taken care of right away. I left feeling a bit disheartened because, even though I value the technician’s work, the pricing made me hesitant about returning in the future.
I came in on Thursday to get all 4 of my tires replaced. The overall service was okay, but I want to mention my experience with the staff. My first conversation was with a male employee, and he helped me figure things out in about 5 minutes. I told him I would call back. When I called again, I spoke with a female employee, and the process took almost 45 minutes for the same thing. I really wish I could’ve continued with the first person because the experience was much more stress-free and efficient.
The work on the car was done fine, but the communication and time spent could definitely be improved. I still appreciate the help, just hoping for more consistency next time.

Went in for diagnostic, turns out I had a bad transmission. I decided to follow up with them to get the transmission replaced. Staff were super friendly, setting up the appointment was super easy, and they fully explained the process in detail. They also do an in-depth inspection and notify you of potential future issues and include pictures of the parts of concern.
It can be hard to find a trustworthy shop, and these guys have earned my trust. They keep you informed every step of the way and are incredibly professional and friendly.
Best auto shop I’ve been to! From setting up the appointment to picking up my car. All the staff are great, very caring and honest. They’re up front about everything from beginning to end which is hard to find now and days! Would definitely recommend them to my family and friends!! Love that they update you through text when your car is being serviced and you can even watch your car being worked on a live camera!
