I’ve dropped my BMW off with Chris and his crew a few times now, so this is a bit overdue. However, this past visit was a bit above and beyond, and merits me finally posting something. Just had it in for a routine service and some quirky things (needed a trunk liner replaced because a gas additive spilled on it and made the car smell toxic). One of the quirky things was a gremlin *I* introduced into the system by mistake (being vague because it’s not flattering to me!)…that Chris and team chased down and ID’d after a bit of a puzzling about it. *sigh* Chris was super generous with me on the overall rate and absolutely took a long-view on me as a customer by being generous. His rates have always blown away the dealerships (with similar results and quality), but this was him just being a good human. Don’t hesitate in the least to bring your German vehicle in to Autobahn. Los Gatos is fortunate to have them in town.
They take excellent care of my Mercedes and my wife’s BMW. Honest, quality work and reasonable prices. Only auto shop I use. I highly recommend Chris and his team.

This was my first time working with Autobahn Los Gatos, and I couldn’t be more pleased. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Chris was incredibly welcoming and has a very pleasant personality, which made the process feel easy and stress-free.
Jake handled the diagnostics and repair of my Mercedes GLE 400 with clear professionalism. My vehicle was showing multiple warnings—Active Brake Assist Malfunction Limited, ABS Light, Traction Control Light, and Parking Brake Warning. Jake initially identified a faulty right rear wheel speed sensor and replaced it as authorized. When the warning lights reappeared, he didn’t stop there.
Instead of rushing through it, Jake took days—not just hours—to thoroughly investigate and ultimately found the true root cause. Thanks to his persistence and expertise, the issue is now fully resolved.
I will absolutely be returning to Autobahn Los Gatos for all future servicing and repairs. It’s rare to find a shop with this level of dedication and care. Highly recommended!

After getting a price from the dealer, they quoted half the price. When I brought the car in, they said it didnt even need the work the dealer said I needed, saving me thousands. They took care of the brakes that I wore out and left very happy. What a honest place. Ask for Chris and tell him Wayne with the Z4 sent you

I've been an Autobahn Los Gatos customer for more than a decade. I can't even imagine going anywhere else. From regular service to very puzzling problems, they've kept my daily driver going strong for 230+Kmi.
Very nice experience. Feel like this is a trustworthy place. Had the exhaust leak code checked out here. They did a smoke check test and overall inspection. They cleared the code, replaced gas cap and said if the check engine light comes back on, they’ll diagnose for free.
Great service. Completed all work and safety inspection on time as promised. When picking the car up they took time explain the work completely and future work required as wear items age.

I've used Autobahn for a used car purchase inspection, oil change and now most recently to fix a brake cable that was rubbing against the driveshaft of a 3-series. They're trustworthy, have fair and good prices, and our expert and friendly. Great location, easy to get in and out. SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN A DEALER!
I had my 2006 BMW towed to Chris and they took care of me, fixed my car quickly. It was the radiator, and they fixed it and my third brake light. Good value.
Very happy with my first experience here. Chris was very clear and honest about the best and worst case scenario price range for the repair we needed. They were able to repair it for less than the best case scenario price, which was a huge relief. Clear communication about possible outcomes, timing and price is everything. I had engine oil low light on GL. I brought it autobahn Los Gatos, the technician checked the oil level then added a quart of oil free of charge! Excellent!
