Not at all worth it for e-waste. I tried to do the right thing by responsibly disposing of e-waste but was told on my way out that my single bag of electronics would cost $138. Something like $7 for each small item and $14 for each large item, and my largest item was a computer keyboard. In what world should a computer keyboard cost the same to responsibly recycle as a 65" TV, or one bag of e-waste should cost the same as a literal ton of landfill waste? At least they let me take my items back instead of paying, but look elsewhere for free or low-cost e-waste disposal.

Just finished another dump run at this location. Went two times in one day! Great staff! very helpful! courteous! The people who work here will take care of you and do a wonderful job. I appreciate all the hard work and dedication that is on display at Blue line transfer dump. Highly recommend this place if you need a place to dispose of your junk.

I used this place for the first time. It happened to be a stormy windy day. Pulled over at the front entrance and adjusted a strap that was securing a tarp covering a load of debris. The tarp corner had flapped back. Reattached corner. As I pulled through the gate I was told I have to pay an extra $20 for not having the tarp on properly. I tried to reason with the guy, but he became agitated as I try to explain what I was doing. Very rude and forgets he’s getting paid because of customers like myself. It’s not the $20. It’s the attitude he carried. Very arrogant. I took the time to write this review because of how much he upset me this morning. I’m sure this review will go nowhere but feel it’s necessary for others to know before going to this business.

Today I wrote to blue line transfer station, as a resident of San Bruno I understand we can dispose of 4 mattress at no cost, however I didn't know I couldn't not have the metal with it, when I arrived the lady did not informed of extra and additional charges on mattress with something else of $22 each, nor did the person checking my load also he only checked on paper 3 mattresses and when I got to exit a person checking me out charged me $104.00. I did ask why so much then he told me mattresses would have been free to dispose of I didn't have the other stuff but with other stuff they charge $22.00 each mattress also then. I told him it would have been nice if you guys would have told me that before hand he said very smartly I should have asked with a smirk on his very making me feel as his being very rude. Poor customer service. Bhan Singh

Easy to and convenient place to take your truckload of garbage waste to. Workers are pretty friendly. But even as girl you'll be tossing out the trash of your vehicle solo. Which I don't mind because it's oddly satisfying being able to just fling and throw and toss it into the pile of waste anyways. Lol. Best place around I believe. Be sure to have the trash completely covered or you'll be paying an extra 20.

Blue line charges by the ton. Recology charges by the cubic yard. It's always cheaper at Blue line.

Better price than in Brisbane. I bring in a pickup with yard clippings and maybe 4) 5 gallon buckets of clean concrete and a small bag of trash $33. I've done almost the same identical load at brisbane and it's close to or over $100. Can't figure that one out. It's never more than 3-400 pounds. So basically, I'll keep driving the extra 2 miles to blue line.

Always a fair price and everyone there is easy to work with. Make this your first time and take a trip to the dump. Keep your cargo covered and breathe in the smell of releasing the items you no longer need for good. It's cathartic and we'll priced.

They say they open at 6am and that is exactly what they do. Great for a busy contractor to have timely service. Great staff very helpful so early in the morning.

Was towing trailer for first time. Worker notices it and takes the time to teach me how to back up

Not sure about the environmental impact, but as far as user experience goes it's smooth and easy. We cleaned out our garage and the non recyclables were too much for the trash bin so I made a run. With their pricing ($138 per tonne) most residential customers will pay the minimum fee, because I think very few non professionals would dump more than ~520 pounds of garbage. Be prepared for a line, but they are well organized and the line goes quickly, so you'll be done in less than an hour for sure.

Great prices & minimum charge is $33.00 and $135.00 per ton extra charge on ewaste, tires, appliance, tires. Mattress & box spring. Good prices if your load is light trash.

This place is ridiculous. They have extra surcharges for everything they can possibly think of. You will easily spend over an hour here. Definitely more if its busy.

Picked Load of Cardboard 53ft Van Trailer 04/05/2020 These people are Great! My first time here for pickup. Arrived 0530 parked before the closed entry gate (gate on right side, as you enter) walked up to Scale. A Garbage Truck was exiting But the driver got out of his truck and connected me with a supervisor who gave me the clearest and useful direction. I thanked him and he said "it was the least he could do". Have your pickup number, truck and trailer license numbers ready for the scale house. Loader was also friendly. Thank you for running a professional operation

You could bring 1 brick in your truck bed to this place they will still charge you if it's not tarped. Even though California vehicle code 23115 says loads must be covered, constructed, OR loaded so nothing can spill out.

The guys at the yard make regular customers wait in line for a long time and let their drivers go ahead of everyone waiting else. I sat inline for one hour and keep seeing the blue line trucks pass by this didn’t happened once but many times, I called the office letting them know that I had been waiting inline not just me but other customers and to let them know to get the line moving. I don’t think the owner knows how the yard guys are taking control without rules

No matter what time you come it seems to take an hour at least, just to start unloading. This place always takes forever. Would take less time to go to San Carlos from Millbrae

When someone comes to the dump without a tarp on their load they obviously don't know the policy. It would be nice if the staff says, "I know the line is long, but would you like to leave and come back when you have put a tarp on your load?" I guess you don't want to send people back out on the road. There are quite punitive laws which govern littering that better serve society. By the way, my load wasn't anything that was going to blow out and I did have a mesh cover to secure it but it did not meet your standard. Also, I saw a guy putting his tarp on a block from the dump, so your policy only really punishes those who have never been to the dump before. I'm sure these people are not the ones who litter the roads.

Helpful staff, but appalling wait times. Took 1.5 hours to drop off two small items. Will never return!

20$ for non covered vehicle ? Cash grab, go back or pay 20$ lost tag fee on the bottom of the page 200$ This is just a cash grab " you have no option but to comply with this absurd stuff"

Went here to get rid of a wood door I've been carrying around in my truck....literally just a door. Showed up, waited in line and was turned away because I didn't have a debris tarp. I usually go to San Carlos, even tho it's further for me, but they're logical there and not on an ignorant brainless power trip. I get the whole debris tarp thing, but the attitude I received, along with the fact that ITS A DOOR, and was tied off(to keep from sliding around), it would take a tornado to blow it out

No one answers the phone. The loads are covered and they keep charging twenty dollars. We cover the load completely and they still charge
Jun 09, 2016 -
Always bring my garbage here, the people are friendly and helpful. Don't forget to completely cover your garbage with a tarp or you will be charged an additional fee.

Nice - I loaded up the SUV, drove all the way to Blue Line Transfer on Christmas Eve just to find them closed at 12:30 pm. What is it so difficult to state a specific time of operation other than "Hours might differ". We really have better things to do other than waste our time because Blue Line Transfer can't keep a specific schedule - nice to be the only show in town whereby you can get away with this - I don't really care attitude,,, From Website: Hours: Thursday (Christmas Eve) 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Hours might differ
