Convenient and easy to do. They aren't as unorganized as many other chaotic recycling centers I've visited, and the wait isn't a long time, they seem to be friendly and there pay out is descent. Also they recycle a variety of items. All in one location. I will definitely be using them in the future!!

Although this is great place to recycle cans and bottles in person, don't expect to get a reply from their email or call backs after leaving a message, you won't get any response. On their website left 2 messages within a month with no reply.

There appears to be less parking but there was someone directing traffic/parking.

If you have a car battery, DO NOT bring it here. I called and was told .40 lb so I loaded up 115lb of lead acid batteries, waited in a long line out on the street, then waited in line again inside, go to the pay window then was handed $17 or .15lb. I told the lady that I called and was told .40lb by a girl who put me on hold to ask someone what the price was. The lady told me she's the one who answers the phone and I could go and get the batteries back. Oh yeah sure after waiting over 40 minutes and unloading, then I'd have to load it up again and go somewhere else? It was my first time going to a recycler so I wouldn't know if .40lb is too high. O'Reilly's Auto Parts pays $10 each and you just walk in, hardly any waiting, if you even have to wait at all. Obviously this place works for all those people collecting bags of cans and bottles, bulk metals, also saw a lot of copper cable.

A few years ago I started bringing recycling daily, I had my passport and license but it was stolen and I have not been able to get another one and in 2020 the old lady at the checkout denied me entry because she didn't let me scream, she is used to humiliating people and for days now she definitively denied me entry threatening me that the police would kick me out and she also tells my friends that the police would kick me out and she tells anyone who helps me sell daily the same thing, I am a daily customer, that's what I live off and they are not stolen things, thank you.

Great place to drop off metal. Services include providing large bins to consolidate metal right at the vehicle. Staff generally friendly. Wish there was more shade for hot days, a vending machine for water, and a better handwashing station. The service window is awkwardly small and the glass somewhat fogged over.

Pretty rude people… I was told that I could dump my cardboard over there. When I start unload a pretty rude guy comes to me with a slang language saying that I needed to stop. Don’t waste your time!

Great service for e-waste - I didn't have to wait too long on a Saturday at 3pm. The fellow at the line was very helpful as I had several heavy boxes of computer monitors. The staff at the weighing station is also friendly. Our monitors were free to recycle and the wires and speakers were only .25 cents per pound - overall it was very reasonable fee and a convenient experience (especially being open on Saturday). Just make sure you have an ID with a mailing address (no PO box) and cash in case you don't want to pay the CC fee.

The guys that work there are Very helpful. They helped me sort out brass, plumbers brass, stainless, and so on. Seem to be pretty honest. Be prepared to wait in line for a little bit but goes pretty quick.

In and out in less that 5 minutes. Accurate weight controlled by Division of Measurement Standards, and reimbursed for the items I provided. Opposite of other places where scales are not complying with regulations, or being audited. Excellent service.

We go here as often as we can. Anytime, we have a sizable collection of , we prefer to come here than anywhere in SF where we currently reside. We used to live around the corner from here! Only thing that changed were their hours bc of Covid. The employees all still wear . Good on them!

This company spends a lot of time identifying you so that when they short change you for the material you bring them, you have no recourse.but accept their payment. I brought in a stainless steel heater for recycling and they classified it as scrap metal. Then, they took my thumb print before they underpaid me for the item. They gave me change and ignored the $5 bill that should have been part of the payment. So these guys are dishonest on a number of levels. Avoid them as a place of business, please.

The place to go when recycling your cans and plastic bottles. Line moves pretty fast. Did two trips today and was done before lunchtime. You can recycle everything from water heaters, copper wire, rims, etc. I even saw someone recycle a whole bicycle today. It looked like it was still in good condition, too.

First time here and what a disappointment. I was here to drop off an old flat screen TV. The car line barely moved and no one offered any reason as to why the pace was so slow. I think I waited almost 90 minutes before entering the gate. Once inside, it's clear that the limited amount of parking and poorly motivated staff did not help the situation. If Zarc would like some help to make this more efficient and smooth....I'm happy to help....free of charge. For example, could they put a sign outside encouraging customers to "walk in" rather than drive?

My frist time reclying for cash Here what you need to know..they don't want the cap on any thing ..2. They don't take anything with out the California redemption bar or code...for example wine and liquor bottles are a NO! Most Bottles are clear or brown keep them separate. Park your vehicle then go get the garbage bin to put your recycling into separate them..push them up to the weight station..then go to the cashier for payment...must bring ID

Get there early. Seperate before hand if possible. 3 day hold on all copper. Look out for nails and screws when driving vehicle in yard. Not the highest prices for recycling but very much accessible otherwise. As of recently began recycling computers, laptops, hard drives. This place will pay you for these items. If I'm not mistaken it's $.20 per pound for computers and I think $.40 per pound for hard drives. They also take car batteries. Depending on weight but I'd say about $5 per battery.

Wanted my personal information. The guy was super rude and started yelling at me when I refused to give it, then told me to leave before finally just letting me. Then the guy under reported how much recycling I gave; it's not about the refund, (I also recycle paper, etc) but seriously, can you get more petty? Data is one of the biggest forms of theft today, you dont need all my personal information. I've never been asked this before at a recycling center.

I always have a great experience, they are very efficient and quick. It took me longer to put my recycle in the bins than it did going thru the line (1person) weighing it and then collecting my cash! Awesome job everyone at Zarc.

Run very efficiently and easy to figure out what you need to do ot where to go. Times are very limited, but that seems to be more of a COVID thing, so gotta give them a pass on that. Otherwise, they could use a better flow when selling your products you bring.

I was there for the first time cause of 7 on your side and it’s the same as replant that they accept. But the showing your Identification part is new. And it’s faster with people driving to that place with cars. And grabbing bins to fill how much I have. And the lines faster too. Is not like replant recycling that the bins or only for the people up front. And also there’s 4 or 3 people there plus the lady giving the money. And it’s bigger then walking to replant. That place is even better then replant will more bins after emptying plastic bottles or glass or soda cans. The bins are back to other people to use. And any plastic bottles accept if it’s CRV. But no milk bottles.

So the employees that work there are great. Problem with the place is the line. Every1 who goes there to recycle bottles and cans should have their recycle separated before they get to zarcs. This is why there is always a line 15 cars deep at anytime of the day. If people had stuff separated before they entered lines would go faster, zarcs would make more money, and every1 would be happier. These easy changes could make this place great

Currently 1 of the few recycling places south of San Francisco. Anticipate a long line of cars because they have limited parking spaces. They have an employee guide cars in 1 at a time. Expect to wait 30-40 in your car, on a good day. Once they let you in, their services are fast and efficient.

Very nice employees. Very fast service. So far, ZARC Recycling Center is the only recycling place that still remains open. Most of the recycling centers have closed down without leaving any notices to their customers.

This facility took my wine bottles last month. I came back today with another person after we loaded everything into the bins including wine bottles. We were told they don't take them and pointed to a sign that said don't take wine bottles. But they took them a month ago. I asked why they took it last month they told me that person should not have and I should give back the money. Really........I said I will not be back to this facility again.

I always recycle copper and brass at Circossa metal in San Francisco. But I wanted to try a local place. Well experience was mostly nice. Staff are frendly. If you have business licence, or contractor licence they will pay out right away, if not it’s a 3 day hold. Prices seemed a bit lower then my other place, but not going to SF makes up for it. Something I was not awere of: there is copper #3, for some reason they counted my waste as #3. While other places would always count it as #2. So if you have under 200lbs bring it in, if you have way more Circossa might pay out more. Good luck.
