Disappointed. I used Junk king many times and always had a good experience but this time was not. The appointment was between 2 and 4, I clearly stated when booking not to call before 1 pm, well, at 12.45 received a call that they were a few minutes away from my home… I was on my way home so I walked as fast as possible. The crew handled the removal carefully, left the space clean. Pricing and payment was the issue. First quoted $228, ok; then the guy came back for payment and told me that it will be $198, good! Big mistake paying cash! I handed $200, he did not have the $2 dollars change, fine. I handed each crew member $30 tip (walk up 2 story high). Then the cherry on the cake, around 4 pm received email “paid” from JK, total charge $150! So who pocketed the extra $50 or rather $48 they charged me? The crew billed me $198 and final paid invoice from JK was $150…. Ugh ugh… Never never pay them by cash: NEVER.
Outstanding service. Called and got a very reasonable quote and 2 very gracious Junk King employees arrived within an hour to remove my item. Highly recommended!!
So happy with my experience! They came to collect my items less than 3 hours after I called. The guys were friendly and efficient, and I thought the price was super reasonable ($200 to remove a couch, 2 bookshelves, 2 floor lamps, and a bunch of broken down moving boxes). Highly recommend.
We had the best experience with Junk King. Called on a Sunday morning and asked for mattress pickup and disposal. Kevin on the phone was very helpful and told us that someone could come in the next 2 hours. Communication from the pick up guys was superb and overall super quick! 10/10 recommend.
Very efficient and professional. I quickly scheduled the appointment online for the follow up week, prior the appointment they provided all the required documentation such us COI and workers compensation insurance, both requested by the management in my building. They were very on time, made a quote on the spot and removed all the stuff in less than one hour! Strongly recommended! thank you
The pick up of the dumpster was amazing. The driver was so professional and helpful and he even noticed a piece of smoked glass that I had forgotten and he offered to put it in the dumpster for me. Great service!

great. i knew it would be pricey but the cognitive and physical load was worth it. i have a broken arm at the moment and am moving in a couple days, so couldn't wait for recology in 3 weeks. they helped me move a couple coffee tables, a futon couch, and a few other bags of items. roughly $228, arrived on time and got the job done fast.

I’ve used Junk King two times since moving back to SF. The service was affordable and efficient. I was given same day service and the moving guys removed the items quickly. They were both very personable and professional giving me answers to my questions and concerns. This recent haul away involved my Nordic track bike that started having significant issues recently.

Did exactly what I needed done - I had massive china cabinet that was extremely heavy and wouldn’t fit in the building elevator or stairway. These guys came within 2 hours, gave me a very reasonable quote, sawed the thing in half and hauled it out. They even cleaned up after themselves. Took them 45 minutes max. I will definitely reach out to junk king again if I need a similar service.

These guys were great. Came in with a *great* price, had to handle a long piece of metal and brought in a power saw to shorten it (along with handing all the other boxes and misc stuff) and they were fast. And then they swept the garage! Highly recommended and will definitely use them again.

The San Francisco Junk King people did an incredible job for us. From the owner to the workman they all went out of their way to make sure they did whatever they said there were going to do and did it in a timely and cost efficient manner. It was an outstanding experience at a particularly tough time in our lives. I can’t thank them enough.
I made an appointment on the same day for the soonest available time slot and they came within 20 minutes. They picked everything up and gave a great rate. Can recommend and would use again in the future.
Called them to arrange a pickup and they responded with an offer to come later the same day to give an estimate, and if the estimate was accepted they would start loading as soon as they had an agreement. We agreed on an appointment the next day (more convenient for me). They came midway through the appointed two-hour window. We agreed on a price and everything was gone, except for an old, partially filled, five-gallon bucket of paint. We’re very pleased with the service and appreciative of how responsive they were. I recommend them!
The two men came at the time requested, efficiently rolled up a large, heavy carpet and pad, plus other pieces if carpet and removed them for a very reasonable price. The whole process was easier than anticipated. I would recommend them to anyone who needed removal service.
I needed same day service for pick up of a few pieces of rugs and furniture, and some cardboard boxes that we haven’t been able to dispose of because our apartment complex doesn’t have a lot of trash space. I called Junk Kings and they came by, picked everything up, and left within 2 hours! They were really great and professional. I HIGHLY recommend them!

The guys did a great job! There was a delay in them coming but the quality of their work overshadowed that detail. The guys were friendly and worked fast. It's such a relief to get rid of a houseful of junk. I have been wanting to do this project for years so to get it done. I enjoyed watching the junk getting thrown into the truck. Best of all the price estimate prices were reduced but ended up getting charged even less. Like $200 less. It was a nice surprise. I fully recommend them.
