We rented a storage unit for the month before we moved so we could move some stuff early. SPS was waaaaay cheaper than any comparable options. The facilities were clean and secure, with convenient dolly carts available by the elevator. Every worker I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I haven’t rented other storage units to compare this to, but I was very happy with the experience here.

After packing a 26 foot truck full of my life, some of which I clearly need to let go, the stress of moving was hanging heavy. When I arrived at Security Public Storage with three friends who couldn’t say no, I was welcomed authentically, and given just the amount of expedient attention that I wanted. The property is clean, and has the equipment necessary to unload efficiently. I definitely would recommend this facility to anyone needing storage.
Excellent experience! The facility is meticulously maintained and the management is fabulous - professional yet friendly, efficient yet thorough. The system for access and hours as well as live-on-site managers make the space feel very safe and comfortable.
I wish my doctor's office, accountant office and other professional offices I frequent were managed as well as Barry and Tyler manage this location of Security Public Storage.

This is for the review at the San Mateo location. I rate this place highly. Barry and the other associates here offer top notch customer service. I needed a short term rental to store furniture for a bit as the family was in the process of moving. They were so helpful in understanding how large of a unit was needed and were always so friendly and accommodating. I also found that the grounds and storage units were so well maintained, clean, and well ventilated. Overall a very positive experience and would highly recommend!

We are so glad that we found Security Public Storage for our recent move. Linda took my initial call and provided me with such great information about the facility and set up a time for me to see the location. She was so friendly and very helpful.
Once I arrived, Barry was so welcoming and informative. He took time to walk me around and to show me the entry/exit process and thoroughly went though all the pertinent information. SPS is secure, clean and well maintained.
Moving can be so stressful, and we appreciate that this piece of our move was so flawless.
Top notch place!! The managers John and Marianne are easy to work to work with and really help me by reminding me when my bill is due so I do not get a late fee. Love this place and have been storing here for a while. I plan on staying a while as they provide the best storage unit in the area. Thanks J&M!
